Although Chadwick Boseman knew for years he had terminal cancer, we now know he died without writing a will, but he made a key move months before his death to financially protect his wife.

The "Black Panther" star's widow, Taylor Simone Ledward, has filed probate docs, obtained by TMZ, in which she asks to be named administrator of Chadwick's estate. Taylor has to file the docs in probate court because he did not leave a will.

That seems odd considering Chadwick was diagnosed with colon cancer 4 years ago, and knew it was terminal. However, that also puts his marriage to Taylor, who he reportedly dated since 2015, in a new light ... and here's why.

They got engaged in late 2019, and reportedly tied the knot at some point in 2020. That's important because when a person dies without a will and without children, their surviving spouse inherits all the assets of the probate estate.

According to the docs, Taylor gets nearly $1 million in personal property and assets, but that's not a true reflection of Chadwick's wealth and success. Most likely the majority of his assets are held in separate private trusts.

In the docs, Taylor notes Chadwick is also survived by his 2 parents.

As you know, he was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and it progressed to stage IV as he silently battled through it. Chadwick died in his home surrounded by his wife and family.

In this clip, Andre Rison opened up about getting the news that Left Eye was killed in a car accident in Honduras in 2002. He explained that he was on stage at a Jagged Edge concert when his friend gave him the news, and Andre says it's been a blur ever since. He went on to detail marrying a woman, who ironically is named Lisa Lopez, and having four kids together. In this clip, Aries Spears opens up about how he's adjusting to the quarantine, and he stated that while he loves his lady, he can't wait to get away. He went on to speak about comedians doing shows without audiences online, which he likened to a crazy person talking to themselves. Aries then admitted that he agreed to do a show without an audience but he's trying to find a way out of the deal.

Aries then shared his thoughts on Harvey Weinstein being sentenced to 23 years on rape charges, and he believes that Weinstein will not serve the full sentence because "he has the complexion for protection." Aries went on to speak about no one taking the stand for Weinstein during his trial, adding that you're "quarantined" socially when you're accused of raping women.

He then shared his thoughts on Bill Cosby and conspiracy theories about Cosby being taken down because he wanted to buy NBC. Aries said that he believes Cosby had the money to buy the network, but they wouldn't sell to him because they would have to relinquish power to a Black man. He then spoke about Cosby being hypocritical of comedians cursing in their shows, which led to an impersonation of Cosby. To hear more, including Cosby debunking stereotypes with his hit TV show.
