SPRING, Texas – Harris County Precinct 4 constables said a woman confessed to killing her husband in a jealous fit of rage Saturday morning, but another woman has come forward to KPRC 2 saying that she, not the accused, is the victim’s actual wife.

Karin Tricia Stewart, 51, has been charged with murder.

The tragedy began to unfold when deputies were dispatched to a residence around 2:21 a.m. They arrived to find a man, James Hargrove, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was rushed to Houston Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Stewart, who is 51 years old, allegedly told investigators the victim was her husband & that she shot him after he told her he was in love with another woman.

Stewart was taken into custody & booked into the Harris County Jail. Her bond has been set at $75,000.

On Monday, during Stewart’s court appearance, a woman who identified herself as Sandra Hargrove told KPRC 2 that she is the victim’s real wife, not Stewart. Hargrove said in an interview that she received a call from her stepson, telling her that her husband had been shot to death.

Hargrove said she came to Stewart’s first court appearance to find out what happened to her husband.

Hargrove said she & the victim have been legally married since 2009 and recently separated in November, but still were in contact every other day. She said she was not aware of any relationship he had with Stewart or any other woman.

Hargrove said she is shocked at what happened, adding that, from her knowledge, Stewart was only his caregiver. She said that her husband had recently recovered after being in the hospital with COVID-19 for several months.

“He’s still my husband,” Hargrove said tearfully. “I mean, we have grandkids, we have kids, we have nieces & nephews. That’s still my husband.”

She said she and her family want justice.

“Even when we separated -- we didn’t cause he was my best friend,” Hargrove said.

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — A man has been charged with murder in the death of a 9-year-old girl who was shot when fights broke out in the courtyard of an apartment complex in New Jersey’s capital city.

Isiah Roberts, 19, of Trenton, also faces two counts of aggravated assault and two weapons offenses, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office announced Wednesday. It wasn’t known if he’s retained an attorney.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. Friday in the courtyard of the Kingsbury Square apartments in Trenton. Police responding to reports of fights and possible shots fired there found the victim, Sequoya Bacon-Jones, who had been shot once. She was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead there a short time later.

Authorities have said they don’t think the child was the intended target, but the investigation is ongoing. It’s also not clear if the shooting was related to the fight.

No other serious injuries were reported.

A monthlong mission in Ohio recently turned up 45 missing children and led to 179 arrests, authorities said.

In an operation dubbed Autumn Hope, the US Marshals Service in Ohio and Virginia tracked the children, including a “high-risk” 15-year-old girl from Cleveland who was linked to suspected human trafficking, authorities said Monday.

Twenty other children were also located as authorities checked on their well-being.

During one of the missing children recoveries, a loaded gun was recovered. A 15-year-old boy had two warrants and is suspected in multiple shootings and a murder, authorities said.

Two other juveniles were found in West Virginia during a traffic stop, leading to the arrest of an adult male who was charged with concealment/removal of a minor child in Jackson County.

Autumn Hope was conducted by the marshals in conjunction with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, as well as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and state and local agencies in Ohio.

“My thanks to all personnel who have stepped up for this operation,” said Peter C. Tobin, US Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio. “These are the same personnel who hunt down violent fugitives every day. I’m incredibly proud of them and pleased that they were able to apply those same skills to finding missing children. I know Operation Autumn Hope has made a difference in a lot of young lives.”

The US Marshals have conducted similar operations before, including in Ohio.

Last month, they said 35 missing children, between the ages of 13 and 18 from the Cuyahoga County area, were located during Operation Safety Net. Just over 20 percent of the found cases were tied to human trafficking.

That same month, the marshals also announced the arrest of 262 suspects, including 141 gang members, and the recovery of five missing children in Oklahoma.

Thirty-nine children were found in Georgia during Operation Not Forgotten in August and eight missing kids were recovered in Indiana in September as part of Operation Homecoming.

The marshals have found missing children in 75 percent of cases the agency has received — and 72 percent of those cases were recovered within a week, officials said.

Since 2005, the agency has recovered more than 2,000 missing kids.

Although Chadwick Boseman knew for years he had terminal cancer, we now know he died without writing a will, but he made a key move months before his death to financially protect his wife.

The "Black Panther" star's widow, Taylor Simone Ledward, has filed probate docs, obtained by TMZ, in which she asks to be named administrator of Chadwick's estate. Taylor has to file the docs in probate court because he did not leave a will.

That seems odd considering Chadwick was diagnosed with colon cancer 4 years ago, and knew it was terminal. However, that also puts his marriage to Taylor, who he reportedly dated since 2015, in a new light ... and here's why.

They got engaged in late 2019, and reportedly tied the knot at some point in 2020. That's important because when a person dies without a will and without children, their surviving spouse inherits all the assets of the probate estate.

According to the docs, Taylor gets nearly $1 million in personal property and assets, but that's not a true reflection of Chadwick's wealth and success. Most likely the majority of his assets are held in separate private trusts.

In the docs, Taylor notes Chadwick is also survived by his 2 parents.

As you know, he was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and it progressed to stage IV as he silently battled through it. Chadwick died in his home surrounded by his wife and family.

MTV Reports'Despite my past and stuff like that, I appreciate all of y'all,' Brown tells fans at the New Jersey concert, which also featured Fabolous and The-Dream.EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey — Chris Brown is getting back to the music. After making headlines this year for his February assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna, Brown made serious movement in his musical comeback on Tuesday (October 27) with the premiere of his "I Can Transform Ya" video and a headlining performance at Power 105.1's Powerhouse '09 concert.Incidentally, the New York radio station hosted a comeback show for R. Kelly when he was facing legal woes back in 2003. Much like Kelly six years ago, the Powerhouse fans embraced Brown with cheers and singing of their own. After openers The-Dream, Fabolous, Day26, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson and Mario, Brown had his spotlight. Most of the opening acts were eager to see Chris get back to where he belongs: entertaining. Instead of taking off after their performances, you could see Hilson, Songz and Day26 by the side of the stage waiting to see what Brown would do."Chris is a performer. In spite of all that's been going on in his personal life, he's gonna get out there and perform," Songz said before Brown hit the stage. "I'm confident in that. As a friend, as a brother, I wanna see him go out there and shut it down. I believe everybody deserves a second chance. In God's eyes, none of us are perfect, and he forgives us every day. He deserves a second chance, and I commend Power 105 for giving it to him."There was an immediate roar in the crowd as Brown came out in a black-and-red jacket that looked like a futuristic version of what Michael Jackson wore in the "Thriller" video. Brown wasted no time in getting to his new material, starting with "I Can Transform Ya." Chris began at the back of the stage with his dancers, who were all dressed in black up to their face-covering motorcycle helmets. Brown started singing and walking to the front of the stage, where Swizz Beatz also emerged to rap the song's hook."Wall to Wall" followed, with more high-powered dancing. In the middle of the record, Brown's DJ played Jay-Z's "On to the Next" during a choreographed breakdown. Leg kicks, krumping, slides — Brown's arsenal seems to have expanded."Gimme That" was next, and Brown reminded the crowd that he's getting older on the opening lyric: "The young boy now is 20." Shortly after, Brown's DJ asked him how he felt. The singer let the music speak for him as the Clipse's "I'm Good" came on.Brown and two backup dancers walked from the back to the front of the stage with a bop and arms folded. They leaned to the left on the song's chorus, leaned to the right, then they all dropped down low. "Yo" came next, followed by "Take You Down." The latter was Brown in full heartthrob mode. Brown didn't last the entire record without ripping off of his black tank top. The ladies voiced their approval with screams.Juelz Santana came out as special guest to debut his new single with Brown, "Back to the Crib." Next, Brown slowed the tempo and had thousands of backup singers in the crowd on his hit "With You.""Are y'all glad Chris is back doing shows?" Brown's DJ asked the audience. The fans screamed with praise.Brown finally spent some time speaking to the audience after they sang Jordin Sparks' parts on "No Air." "Despite my past and stuff like that, I appreciate all of y'all," he said. His words were barely audible because of the cheering. The singer also promised to be a better man. "How long we gonna do this for? We gonna do this forever!" he also promised.Of course, "Forever" closed the show."It was dope. I loved it," Omarion said after the show. "It's amazing to be able to come out and support my peers. Chris came and did his thing, all the time. Yeah, CB, he's ready. He's right and he's ready. It's time.""Excuse my French, but that mutha----in' boy killed that sh--!" Polow Da Don exclaimed after watching Brown. "The energy was crazy. You could tell that's something that's missing in the game. He's the absolute truth. He's the future."Earlier in the night, Mario paraded out a host of surprises during his short set. Maino came out for "All the Above," then Red Cafe joined the party with "Hottest in the Hood." Jim Jones later came out for "We Fly High." Jones was joined by DJ Webstar for "Dancin' on Me." Finally, Sean Garrett came out for the smash "Break Up."Keri Hilson, the lone female on the bill, lit up the mic with "Turnin' Me On," "Knock You Down" and Timbaland's "The Way I Are." Trey Songz was combustible with his hits "Successful" and "I Invented Sex."

This Week's Main Pick Street Kings: Cam'ron and DJ Drama Holding It Down For: NYC and ATL Mixtape: Gangsta Grillz: Boss of All Bosses Real Spit: We've been bringing you info on the Boss of All Bosses mixtape for the past several days and now you get the full-card monte, performances and all. Cam and Drama, after years of talking, finally made their street collaboration happen. "I'm excited," Drama said. "For me, where I'm at with my brand and my career, I've gotten the opportunity to work with so many people, but there are people who I wanted to work with. Cam is somebody I can check off my list. Plus, to help introduce Vado — it's exciting. In some ways that's what Gangsta Grillz was built on. It wasn't built on the superstar MC — it was built on people coming up, like Jeezy. Even with Weezy, even though he was a platinum artist, he earned a lot of stripes for the Gangsta Grillz. When this Cam tape pops, people are really going to recognize how great of a street A&R [rep] he really is. He did it before and now he's introducing a new guy." Joints to Check For » "Hustle." " 'Hustle' is one of the original songs we had for the tape," Drama explained. "Cam sent it to me and I decided by Ross being on it, I was gonna let the 'La Bomba' out then do the 'Hustle.' " » "Get It," (featuring Mase). "I love that song," Drama boasted. "That was exciting, man. It's always exciting to watch the game come around like that — seeing Cam and Mase coming up in Harlem together, to the fallout to making music again. It's a feel-good song to me. Not that it sounds old, but it sounds like classic New York hip-hop. I play that in the club — the beat is crazy; Mase and Cam ride the beat. Vado does his thing. People are excited about that one." » "Drama." "The necessary record," Dram said. "I can't tell you how many times we've been there. Cam named the song after me. It's a Gangsta Grillz tape. Shout-out to Cam for the shout-out." Source

Former Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam artist Tru Life turned himself in to authorities last night (June 23) to face a charge of 1st degree murder, according to reports. The charge is possibly tied to a brutal stabbing incident last week that left one man seriously injured, and an 18-year old teen dead. As reported by AllHipHop.com, police were initially investigating Tru Life’s brother for a retaliation attack in the non-fatal shooting of Michael Slater. The individual, whom police suspect is a drug dealer, was shot in the stomach outside of club Pacha. Several hours after the crime, police claim five gang members ambushed 30 year old Jason Black and the teen at a Manhattan apartment complex. Both men were stabbed repeatedly in the chest and face. Black survived the assault, while the unidentified teen succumbed to his wounds. At the time, police theorized that the back and forth violence was the result of a feud between Jason Black and Tru Life’s brother. 1st degree murder carries a maximum sentence of life in prison under New York law. If an official or witness is not the victim, the distinction can also be decreed for murders involving multiple parties or tortuous killings. Tru Life’s last music effort, “Wet ‘em Up,” was heard as a selection on the soundtrack to Grand Theft Auto IV. At press time, Tru Life could not be reached for comment. Source : ALLHIPHOP
