There's been a lot of 2 man groups throughout rap's history, but in my opinion Mobb Deep stand alone at the top. The music Prodigy and Havoc is created is timeless. Classic albums, sinister beats and lyrics to match.
Salute to Hollywood Hav and Rest in peace Bandana P.
Check out "Gun Sling" off of the duo's 2004 "Infamous Allegiance Pt. 1" CD/DVD release.
"Innocence" is a fire collaboration from the late, great Prodigy off Mobb Deep, Godfather Pt. 3 of Infamous Mobb and legendary producer The Alchemist off of Al's 2007 project, "The Cutting Room Floor Pt. 2."
You can't say The Talk of New York and Blue Hefner are back because they never left. The chemistry between Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks is apparent as the duo trade bars on Yayo's new single, "Rocket Chamber."
Prodigy and Havoc, together known as Mobb Deep, are in my opinion the best two man group in hip hop 's history. The duo have so many epic songs and albums to name.
"Dead Man's Shoes" is just one example of that. The Bounty Killer-assisted banger is off of their 2011 "Black Cocaine" EP.
1. Forever Mobbin (Intro) 2. Head Shots 3. Drillin Ft. Reek Da Villian 4. Close Range 5. On God Ft. Flee Lord 6. Forever Mobbin 7. Good Morning 8. Fit for the War Ft. Big Twins 9. Me. Ft. Rob Gates 10. It Ain't Fair 11. Reno Speaks 12. Hoody Season Ft. Reno 13. Motivated 14. Criminal Minded Ft. Reno
"Live At the Spot" is a 2007 collaboration betweem Mobb frequent collaborator Un Pacino and the late, great Prodigy. Off of Un Pacino's "The Last Don" album.
P Is Forever and continues to live on through his timeless music. "You Will See" featuring Berto Rich is the first of many posthumous releases from the hip hop legend.
