Video After The JumpHip Hop mogul Russell Simmons stopped by 'Naughty But Nice With Rob' recently for an interview. During one segment he was asked about his good friend Kanye West.
Simmons said he hadn't spoken with Ye in a while, but expressed disappointment with Kanye's apology to George Bush during a Today Show interview with Matt Lauer.
"I'm a little disappointed he apologized to George Bush. I felt like why do that sh*t? Russell said. "We have to accept that celebrities have great power. And some of them have great voices, and poets have always had great power. Kanye says things that people think but don't always get to say, so when he says 'George Bush don't like black people,' it was what millions of Americans thought and felt."Read more…

Video After The JumpThe video shoot for Dr Dre's "Kush" video just went down in Los Angeles.
A lot of Cali love was on deck, as Roccett, E-40, Glasses Malone and more showed up for the shoot.
West Coast rapper Rockett says he has a newfound respect for G-Unit boss 50 Cent. As Roccett tells it, 50 rolled up on a group of crips, showing no fear and asked for directions to the video shoot.
"I don't know what issues certain n*ggas got with other n*ggas, I don't get into all that," Rockett said. "But I know right now [at that moment], I'm on the corner with the crips straight up. I don't know 50... 50 don't know me. The n*gga drive by us, we don't know who he is, so we looking at the car like 'who cuz?' He pull off [and] u-turn back and pull up like 'where the video shoot?' We like 'cuz this n*gga gonna double back?'. I got respect for cuz period [after that]. The way he did that, most rap n*ggas wouldn't have doubled back. Most rap n*ggas would have been like 'is that 15-20 n*ggas on the corner? I aint turning around.' "
Roccetts' homie chimed in. "He doubled back with his head out of the car [sunroof]. Most n*ggs wouldn't have done that. We respect him for that."
50 once again proves he really is the realest dude in the game.

Video After The Jump(Reuters) - Actor Wesley Snipes was ordered on Friday to start serving a three-year prison sentence for failing to file income tax returns by a federal judge who rejected the Hollywood star's bid for a new trial.
"The defendant Snipes had a fair trial ... The time has come for the judgment to be enforced," U.S. District Judge Terrell Hodges said in his ruling.
Revoking bail for the 48-year-old star of the "Blade" trilogy, the judge ordered him to report to prison as directed by the U.S. Marshals Service or Bureau of Prisons.
It was not clear when or where Snipes would begin serving his time behind bars, however. His lawyer, Daniel Meachum, has said he would appeal if a new trial was denied.
Meachum told the Orlando Sentinel the ruling was shocking.
"Wesley is very disappointed but staying strong and positive," the newspaper quoted Meachum as saying.
Snipes had already lost his appeal of the prison sentence stemming from his 2008 conviction in Hodges' Ocala, Florida, court on three counts of "willful failure to file tax returns" for 1999 through 2001.
Snipes was found not guilty of five other counts in the high-profile felony tax case.
In seeking a new trial, Meachum had argued that jurors in the original trial were biased and that the prosecution's star witness had his own criminal problems.
At his sentencing, prosecutors said Snipes, a resident of Windermere, Florida, had earned more than $38 million since 1999 but had filed no tax returns or paid any taxes through October 2006.
Although he is best known for his roles in action films, Snipes has also had critical success in comedies like "White Men Can't Jump" in 1992. He played the lead in director Spike Lee's interracial drama "Jungle Fever" in 1991 and also played the jazz saxophonist in Lee's "Mo' Better Blues" in 1990.
Eric Thompson, a supervisor in the U.S. Marshals Service office in Orlando, Florida, said the Bureau of Prisons would notify Snipes and his lawyer of a surrender date.
"He'll probably get it by certified mail," Thompson said.
He declined to say what prison was likely to be selected for Snipes except to say that it would not be in Florida.
A listing for Snipes already posted on the Federal Bureau of Prisons website says his prisoner ID or registration number as 43355-018, his location is "in transit" and his release date is "unknown."

The Game's latest album has been pushed back to Nevuary. So that's left the Compton MC a lot of time to sit on twitter and beg G-Unit boss, 50 Cent for a reunion.Fif hasn't responded back directly, but Capo, Tony Yayo fired cannon shots yesterday at the bi-polar mc. And let him know in no uncertain terms there will be no G-Unit reunion.
That tweet sparked off a war of words between the two former associates.
The Game: 1st of all @tonyyayo when I was talkin bout a G-Unit reunion I wasn't talkin to you "YOU F*CKIN PUPPET" I was talkin to CURTIS MAN 2 MAN! Yayo was referring to Game's manager Jimmy Henchman, who was recently exposed by the New York Daily News as being a federal informant.
The war of words didn't end there. Yayo kicked more dirt in Game's face. He brought up the infamous concert footage that shows an audience member throwing beer on Game and his young son. The Compton rapper doesn't even retaliate, instead he just walks off stage.

Dark Man X is back behind bars again. The troubled rapper just can't seem to stay out of bad situations with the law.
In recent interviews, DMX has looked and sounded clear headed. His recent verse on Swizz Beatz' "Yall Don't Know" is vintage X. So this latest brush with the law is puzzling.
Bommbox is reporting X was arrested last night in Phoenix for failing to check in with his parole officer, a violation of his probation.
Arizona has not been kind to Dark Man. He's had several run ins with Maricopa County Sherriff, Joe Arpaio. A man who takes pride in shaming prisoners, by making them wear pink undershorts and socks. Uses pink, towels and sheets as well as pink handcuffs. This latest arrest marks the sixth time X has been locked up in the county
During a tv interview from an Arizona jail last year, X swore he'd never come back there once he was released. But recently he changed his mind and said he was going to make the state his home.
After this latest arrest, I think he might change his mind about that.
Now word yet on when he will be released.

Video After The JumpLegendary Hip Hop duo Eric B & Rakim received a well deserved honor Tuesday night November 16.
They were inducted into the Long Island Music Hall Of Fame.
"It means a lot, you know hip hop we get a lot of flack for what we do... our lyrical content. But when you go through the adversities and go through everything, for myself to be able to be at a place like this tonight brings it all to a front and makes it all worth worthwhile. I just wanna soak the moment in, enjoy it and show the people that I'm definitely humbled," Rakim said.
Congrats to them.

Having your freedom taken away has to be one of the worst feelings for any man or woman. It doesn't matter if you're a celebrity. When those bars shut behind you, there's a lot of time to reflect on past mistakes and what got you here in the first place.
Atlanta rapper T.I. recently wrote a letter from prison that was posted on his blog about his current situation. To say he's upset about it would be an understatement.
"This experience is truly a pain I have never felt before and that's saying a lot for a nigga who's been down locked up as many times as I have. I see this as a real ass whoopin'. The kind you don't just go back outside to play afterwards. You take ya ass to bed and don't come out of your room until it's time to go to school.
I don' t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I'm certainly sick and mother f*cking tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it. I'd have been better off doing a 5-10 year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks and months for the last 15 years of my life.
Even though it's been a long road, I'm still standing, barely but nevertheless still standing. At one time I thought my motivation for continuing was for my fans, my partna Philant, my pops, my grandmama, even for the haters or the people I let down. But nah... I got to do this shit for me!!! I'll be God damned if I've come all this way and made it through so much hell to let it go down like this! F*ck that! If an hour in the dark is worth a second in the sun then pass me my mother f*ckin' shades cause I'm ready to cash my darkest hours in...ASAP!!!
A lot of folks had fathers or father figures in the house to raise them into manhood. I'm not trying to make any excuses for my situation but my father was a hustler that lived in New York. My uncle was a local big time dope boy turned 10 year federal inmate.
My mother and grandparents did the best they could but I found my manhood in the trap and in prison systems. But I found it. And nan one of mine will ever have to feel the cold tight grip of a handcuff or grace the presence of a jail cell if I can help it.
Over my dead body!
So if you can't respect that you ain't rocking with my movement then Fuck you dog! I know a bunch of mother f*ckers who are.....

Video After The JumpAfter watching Manny Pacquiao destroy Antonio Margarito last Saturday, fracturing his eye socket in the process, many boxing fans are left to womder what's next for the Filipino champion.
Is Pacquiao unbeatable? Sure fire boxing Hall Of Fame boxer Bernard Hopkins doesn't think so.
B-Hop thinks Manny has been ducking African American fighters for a reason. Pacquiao has never fought an African American in his illustrious career. Hopkins says he is dodging them because they would beat him.
"Maybe I'm biased because I'm black, but I do think a fighter like the Ray Leonards, or anyone like that would beat a guy like Pacquiao if they come on their game, " Hopkins said. "Listen, this aint a racial thing, but then again or maybe it is...But the style that is embedded in most of us black fighters could be a problem to any other style of fighting."
In Pacquiao's defense, he came up in lighter weight divisions where there aren't many black fighters. And he did recently fight Joshua Clottey, but Clottey is a native African and doesn't use the styles of boxing Hopkins referenced.
Hopkins is hoping for the much anticipated Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Pacquia, because he think Money May will dominate.
"Floyd Mayweather would beat Manny Pacquiao because the styles that African-American fighters -- and I mean, black fighters from the streets or the inner cities -- would be successful," said Hopkins, according to Fanhouse.com. "I think Floyd Mayweather would pot-shot Pacquiao and bust him up in between the four-to-five punches that Pacquiao throws and then set him up later on down the line."
The Pacquiao camp isn't buying all this talk of race being a factor when it comes time for Manny to pick opponents. His promotor, Bob Arum told ESPN that Pac Man never ran and never will from any challenge.
"I have heard that, yes. A lot of people don't articulate it. But a lot of people, in effect, hint at it," Arum said. "But you're absolutely correct, and there is no argument there. The notion that he would not fight an African-American fighter is ridiculous."
So, does Bernard have a point?

"I want to have my charities off the ground. I wanted to do something where I was able to scholarship for girls in the inner cities," she said. Ambitious plans, but Nicki is already proving that it wouldn't be a good idea to bet against her.
