Contrary to rumors of an impending divorce, a rep for Mary J Blige and hubby/manager, Kendu Isaacs says the couple is "very happy".

Earlier this year, sources claimed Blige and Isaacs were fighting and slowing moving towards making an alleged separation official.

According to their rep, those rumors of a divorce are simply "not true" as the couple continues to have both a solid professional and personal life away from the cameras, even after their reported 'dust up' at a New York area nightclub where Blige was alleged to have said "what are you going to do.... Chris Brown me ?"

Blige and Isaacs were last seen at Monday night's Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute's Gala in New York City.

In related news, Mary J Blige is set to launch her anticipated fragrance, 'My Life' this year.

The O.D.: A Mixtape Daily Exclusive

Olivia said that if a song goes on a mixtape, it should be no holds barred. The former G-Unit artist said she was shocked that Drake released a statement to the press denouncing a song she has on her new Under the Radar tape called "Control." The record features a verse by Drake he recorded some time ago.

"I support artist collaborations and sampling music that inspires you, but I don't support taking unauthorized recordings and marketing them as features," Drake said in the statement last month. "I've never worked with Olivia, and I apologize to any fan who was duped into thinking that 'Control' was a collaboration of mine."

Liv was livid at the statement.

"I think that was corny, because it's a mixtape," she said last week while visiting MTV's offices. "[Drake] started off doing mixtapes. Are you serious? You really serious right now? I was like, 'Wow.' The producer sent it to me, everything was done. I'm thinking [Drake's] part was signed off on. The producers sent it to us saying, 'It's done. Can you do the record?' I'm like, 'Sure.' I was recording with Sean Kingston then, so it took us awhile to get back to them. Finally sent it back to them. ... Soon as we sent it back, we heard [the song] was out. So when I heard everything going on, I was like, 'Is he trying to hate right now?' I'm confused. I thought that was what mixtapes were for. First of all, we heard you got paid for it. It was cleared. So I'm like, 'Wow. That's how we doing right now?' But I'm good, 'cause you gave me more publicity. Thank you! Shout-out to Drizzy!"

Under the Radar features the controversial Drake record, plus other guests, including Maino, Serani, Webstar and 50 Cent.

"I wanted to put out new material for all my fans," O said. "They hit me every day on my Internet pages and say, 'What's up with all the new material? We want to hear some new stuff!'

"I got real supporters," she added. "That's what I have to say. "It's a blessing. Sometimes I feel a little discouraged because of the way stuff went down with the Unit. I don't regret anything, because I loved being there. But I wanted to be a solo artist. I wasn't treated as a solo artist; I was treated as part of the group."

Aubrey Drake Graham better known in the rap world as simply Drake continues to climb the ladder of success. With his debut album 'Thank Me Later' set to drop in June, the Young Money rapper sat down with CNN to talk about how far he's come and where he wants to go.

Coming into the game, Drake felt like he already had obstacles he had to overcome.

"Part of the appeal of me as an artist is I did have things that were initially seen as strikes against me'" he expained. "Like being from Canada, being an actor, being light skinned, being Jewish."

"There are all these things that in the stereotypical rap world that don't fit the package."

With those initial hurdles out of the way, Drake is starting to enjoy a few of the perks of stardom. Such as having women toss their bras and panties on stage during his concerts.

"I just feel honored to be inducted into the bra and panties tossing club,"

Drake went on to say that a lot of his music is inspired by women, their minds and emotions.

On the topic of his boss Lil Wayne, Drake feels like he was treated unfairly.

"I've talked to Wayne since he's been in jail. In my opinion he didn't do anything wrong," he said. "I think that was an opportunity to make an example out of somebody who didn't deserve to be made an example out of."

There's no shortage of bleeps covering up the raunchy language of young black militant Huey Freeman and other foul-mouthed characters on "The Boondocks."

The N-word is heard frequently when the animated series airs on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim late-night slate, but most expletives are deleted.

But now fans of "The Boondocks" can get their Huey raw and uncut.

Uncensored episodes of "The Boondocks," which tallied its highest ratings ever when it returned for its third season Sunday after an absence of more than two years, will be available on iTunes 12 hours after the tamer versions air on Adult Swim. Each episode costs $2.99, or viewers can purchase a season pass for all 15 episodes for $37.99.

The season-opener, "It's a Black President, Huey Freeman," in which the young militant is mysteriously depressed following the election of President Obama, scored Adult Swim's highest ratings for an original series in more than a year, attracting more than 2.5 million viewers. It also triumphed over its basic cable competition in key demographics during its 11:30 p.m. Sunday time slot.

The show's popularity appears to be fueled by online fans. The episode has generated more than 197,000 views on Adultswim.com, and "The Boondocks" and various names associated with the show took over five of the 10 trending topics on Twitter.

(AllHipHop News) Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth is striking back at local radio station 97.9 KBXX, The Box, claiming executives from the station have unfairly banned his music and interfered with his relationships with other executives.

Trae is filing the lawsuit in 189th District Court of Harris County, naming Radio One, KBXX’s general manager Doug Abernathy, program manager Terri Thomas and personality Nnete Inyangumia.

Trae claims that he was unfairly banned from the station after a July 2009 shootout erupted at “Trae Day,” that injured eight teen agers.

According to the lawsuit Trae was banned after Inyangumia accused him of causing the violence.

"I would not have filed a lawsuit, but when other people started being hurt by this ban, I knew I had to stand up,” Trae said in a statement released today (May 4th). "I just could not let any more people suffer and be punished by the radio station over this ridiculous vendetta."

The lawsuit also claims that the station even suspended a staff member for a week, because he made a mixtape outside of work, featuring Trae’s music, while another one was fired for accidentally playing a song by Chamillionaire that featured a verse from Trae.

Trae also claims a song and video by rapper 6tre Gangsta was scrapped, after representatives for KBXX told 6tre’s reps that any song featuring Trae would not be aired,.

The rapper has hired Houston attorney Warren Fitzgerald Jr. to represent him in the case.

Even Rap-A-Lot Records’ CEO James Prince weighed in on the ban, which has impacted an upcoming deal between Trae and the legendary Houston label.

I had been excited about being involved with the next Trae album, but with this ban taking place, not only in his home town, but likely also in the second best place for airplay, which is Dallas, it would be impossible to promote the album. This ban is sabotaging his career, because those cities are the foundation for breaking his records.”

Prince added: “Having run a record label for over twenty years, I’ve never seen anything like this.”

According to Fitzgerald, KBXX and Radio One have gone “beyond the parameters of legally sanctioned activity” by banning Trae’s music and interfering with his career.

I find this behavior repulsive, especially for a radio station that daily champions itself as music artists ‘best friend,” Fitzgerald said.

Trae is suing for damages to his reputation, mental suffering, performance revenue, royalties and other damages.

A preliminary hearing is set for May 14, 2010 at 1:30 pm.

(AllHipHop News) Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has officially parted ways with his former management company Mizay Entertainment and booking agency Hitt Afta Hitt Enterprises.

Mizay Entertainment is helmed by Debra Antney, while promoter Johnnie Cabbell is the owner of Hitt After Hitt Enterprises.

Both companies and their respective owners are named in several federal lawsuits, claiming they booked Gucci Mane in several cities throughout the country, without disclosing that the rapper was heading to jail.

Gucci missed a string of dates over the past year, resulting in lawsuits against Mizay and Hitt After Hitt for failing to return hundreds-of-thousands of dollars in advanced payments.

Gucci has closed down his So Icey Entertainment imprint and is now the President and CEO of 1017 Brick Squad Records Inc.

The artists on the new label are Wacka Flocka Flame, OJ Da Juiceman, Bricksquad (Wacka, OJ and Gucci) and Gucci Mane himself.

"The rest of 2010 is going to be real major," Gucci Mane told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (May 4th). “I'm taking control of all of my business properties and keeping the focus on my career, my music and my artists. All the pieces to the puzzle are finally in place and once I get home it's Gucci time."

Gucci Mane also has a new management team to handle his career now that he has parted ways with Mizay Entertainment.

The rapper has entered into an exclusive management deal with First Avenue Management, while CAA will now handle the booking of his shows.

He also named David Bolno, Managing Director at Nigro, Karlin, Segal & Feldstein as his new his new business manager.

In April, Nicki Minaj abruptly fired Debbie Antney and Mizay Entertainment from managing her career.

Last week, Antney and Cabbell were named in another lawsuit in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania over a failed show in Pittsburgh last August

A teenage fan hopped on the field at the Philadelphia Phillies vs St Louis Cardinals game last night (Monday 5-03-2010). The guy was just having some fun by running around, but he was interrupting the game.

So security came out to catch and remove him from the field. The only problem was the cop was so fat and out of shape he couldn't grab him, so instead he used his taser.

He's tossed the gel, shaved off his spiky hairdo and adopted his grandfather's last name - which he hopes becomes known more for music than mobsters.

"I don't do rap, I do pop music," said the newly christened Carmine Gotti. "If I had to put a name on it, I would call it hip-pop, if anything. I like to stay in my own lane."

He's working on a record deal and making cameos in videos by rappers Khia and Fat Joe.

The 24-year-old grandson of the late John Gotti came to his own fame in the reality show, "Growing Up Gotti." He insists he's not the kid you saw in the A&E series that starred his mom, Victoria Gotti, and two brothers.

"I'm matured, I was a kid when they saw me last time," he said. "I wanted to step away from that whole image....I'm a young man now. I'm clean-cut."

For the past three years he has been in and out of Yonkers' Power House Studios, made famous by rappers DMX and the Ruff Ryders, pursuing his passion.

"It wasn't something that came overnight. It wasn't something that was handed to me," said Gotti, who compares his low-key style to Fabolous with a Justin Timberlake twist.

Gotti, born Carmine Agnello Jr., has dropped his dad Carmine Sr.'s last name and complained bitterly last year that he left the family struggling financially. His mom divorced the elder Agnello in 2003 and he remarried after his release from prison in 2008.

He speaks fondly of his "Dapper Don" grandfather, who died in 2002 in a federal lockup.

"He was more like a father figure than a grandfather figure to me," said Carmine Gotti, who has John Gotti's likeness tattooed on his arm.

"He was always there for us, he loved us, and that's the one side we knew about him," he told the Daily News in a recent sitdown. "We didn't see any other side....He was just my grandfather."

He says his debut album - expected out this summer - will even include a tribute to his grandfather.

Until then, he's building the buzz with some high-profile artists. He appears as one of the "bad boys" in risqué rapper Khia's video, "Been a Bad Girl," and is also in Fat Joe's video, "(Ha Ha) Slow Down," which was released Friday.

As for his own project, Gotti says, "My album is more focused on the club scene, and mostly focuses on women....I want to surprise everybody."

His life as a Gotti is also an influence in his music.

"I've seen a lot of ups and I've seen a lot of downs," he said. "I lived 12 years of my life without a father. My mother had to raise us. But I can't complain - I still have a loving family."

Deputy Clay Grant Subdued Layla Trawick

**Update: Video Added**

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Deputy Clay Grant Jr. was off-duty and picking up a couple of household items from Target when customers started screaming.

He says he quickly saw why: A woman was running down the cosmetic aisle with a knife in each hand.

Layla Trawick, 34, had just stabbed four people, including a woman holding a baby, slashing at shoppers in an apparently random attack at the busy store Monday, authorities allege.

Grant grabbed his duty weapon, identified himself as a sheriff's deputy and ordered the woman to drop the knives, he said. She ran away and he followed her from aisle to aisle before she surrendered.

"She finally dropped her knife, and I was able to place handcuffs on her," Grant said.

The Target store is on the second floor of a shopping center at a busy West Hollywood intersection. Shoppers streamed down the stairs and away from the building in a panic.

"People were really scared," said Rachelle Calello, a makeup artist who works in a cosmetic store next to Target. "Who knows if she has a knife or something else?"

A mother holding her baby was stabbed in the neck and was taken to the hospital, where she was in stable condition, Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said. The baby was unhurt and all four victims were expected to survive.

One witness said she was shopping for a Mother's Day card when she heard someone screaming, "There is no witness protection program!" as chaos broke out in the store.

Katy Winn, a freelance photographer from West Hollywood, said the woman was yelling at the top of her voice.

"I think I heard (the deputy) telling her to drop to the floor. That's when things got really chaotic and started falling over," Winn said.

Grant was wearing a white T-shirt, camouflage shorts and running shoes so several shoppers mistook him for a gunman, adding to the sense of panic, officials said.

Calmly recounting the events at a news conference Monday, Grant said his training kicked in and he decided not to shoot because he didn't feel his life was in jeopardy.

"Her facial expression was someone who was lost, confused, didn't know exactly where they were," Grant said.

Trawick was arrested with the help of private security guards and held on $1 million bail on suspicion of attempted murder. It was not immediately known if the Antioch woman had an attorney.

Investigators were trying to determine whether Trawick got the knives in the store.

GURU's close friend SOLAR has blasted his former lover after she alleged the two men endured a physically violent relationship - insisting her accusations are "lies" and "cheap shots".

Tasha Denham, who has a child with Solar, came forward with allegations her ex-boyfriend often fought with the late rapper, who died last month (Apr10) after a battle with cancer.

She told HipHopDx.com, "I saw (Guru) punched in the face numerous times with no provocation. It (would just be) that he'd (Solar) get upset with something Guru would say and punch him in the face. I know he knocked a tooth out of Guru's. I know he gave him a black eye (so Guru would) have to wear glasses for photo-shoots and concerts."

But Solar is fuming about the unfounded allegations - accusing Denham of lying about the incidents.

He tells Britain's Conspiracy Radio, "This is from a groupie that has no knowledge of anything about me and Guru. It's unbelievable that they even put her up there. She never lived with Guru. She never knew Guru. She's just making up tales.

"These are just cowards taking cheap shots at a man that's not here anymore and they should be ashamed of themselves."

The star has also blasted Guru's sister Patricia Elam, after she claimed he had an unhealthy hold over his friend and business partner.

He adds, "The crazies are talking now. Trish (Elam) is speaking when Trish and Guru haven't spoken, haven't seen each other in I don't know how long. These are two people that did not get along."

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey — B.o.B's "Nothin' on You" currently sits atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and "Airplanes" — the second single from his The Adventures of Bobby Ray album — has just leapt into the top 10. The Atlanta MC, who already has a video for "Nothin'," just shot a clip for his sophomore single, albeit one that's missing a key component: Paramore's Hayley Williams, who sings the track's hook.

But all that is going to change — and soon. When we spoke to Williams at this weekend's Bamboozle music festival, the singer said she had already carved out time to shoot her portion of the "Airplanes" video, even if she didn't quite know what she had signed up for.

"Hopefully, right after this tour [Paramore's spring run with Relient-K and Fun], I'll get to do my part of the B.o.B video," she said. "I'm stoked, because I've seen a couple of treatments, and I don't know exactly what I'm getting into yet, but I'm stoked about it, because I know it'll be different, and I think it'll be a lot easier than a Paramore shoot but different and challenging in a new way. It'll definitely be shorter than a Paramore video; no 12-hour day on a chorus."

So what will Williams — who, to be honest, isn't the first person you'd think would be popping up in a hip-hop video — be doing in "Airplanes"? Good question. Paramore bassist Jeremy Davis joked that "she's gonna be on a boat with a swimsuit and a martini." But Williams said she'll be taking inspiration from some of the classics. Sort of.

"Growing up, I saw a lot of hip-hop videos. I always liked TLC, and I always liked Aaliyah videos, I thought they were great. Missy Elliott videos were amazing. But obviously, I'm not going to get in front of a camera and pretend to be Aaliyah or Missy Elliott. I mean, I'm still Hayley from Paramore," she laughed. "And that's what I think is great about it; I'm bringing a different side to what B.o.B is doing ... and I think what we do as a band actually fits in some weird way. I was looking at videos of him online, at his shows, and his crowd doesn't look too far off from, like, the kind of people we play to; same age. It seems like a good match, and I'm excited to bring whatever I have to offer to the table for him."

And since she'll be filming her portion of the video without B.o.B, it will keep one aspect of their collaboration intact: the fact that they've never actually met face-to-face.

"We've never met in person," Williams said. "We've talked on Twitter, and he's really cool. We'll never meet. We're going to perform the song live via Skype."

Cam'ron has been a busy man lately.

Besides reconciling with Jim Jones and announcing the possible reunion of the Diplomats, he made a surprise appearance at Converse's Band of Ballers tournament as both "assistant coach" and basketball player, helping the Jones Family squad secure their second consecutive title. Cam's also preparing for the third release in his and DJ Drama's mixtape series, Boss of all Bosses 2.5.

MTV News caught up with Cam over the weekend at the Atlanta tourney, where we also spoke to DJ Holiday, and it seems everybody wants a piece of KFC.

"Me and Cam need to do something ... a Holiday Season or something. I know you know the brand," the DJ said, referring to his popular mixtape series.

"I could do a mixtape in three hours," Cam challenged. "Let's stop talking and do it."

"I can block out about four hours, and we knock out a Holiday Season and make a classic," Holiday said. "I know you make mixtapes with everybody, but when you do one with the kid, it's a little different experience."

The "killa season"-meets-"holiday season" collaboration was a no-brainer, said Cam, ready to cement plans. But first, Holiday said, he had some other projects in the works, including the upcoming release of Waka Flocka Flame's latest mixtape, tentatively titled Flockaveli, which he described as crazy fighting music. And with Gucci Mane's release from jail a little more than a week away, Holiday said he and Gucc would be preparing a follow-up mixtape: Writing's on the Wall 2: The Appeal.

"I just dropped that [Gucci Mane mixtape] Burrprint HD. It's in stores right now. We did 20,000 first week; #1 on iTunes. At the end of the day, we finnin' to make a movie," Holiday said. Gucci "gets home in probably about 10 days, so you already know we taking over, 10 days. Writing's on the Wall 2: The Appeal coming soon. I'm trying to win, man."

Busted!

Authorities late Monday night arrested a suspect in the botched plot to bomb Times Square.

Faisal Shahzad, a Pakistani-American who recently returned from a trip to his home country, was nabbed at Kennedy Airport.

Faisal Shazhad

"Mr. Shahzad, an American citizen, was taken into custody at JFK Airport in New York as he attempted to board a flight to Dubai," Attorney General Eric Holder said in an early-morning news conference.

"This investigation is ongoing, as are our attempts to gather useful intelligence, and we continue to pursue a number of leads," the Queens-born Holder said.

"But it's clear that the intent behind this terrorist act was to kill Americans," he told reporters.

The Customs and Border Protection agents at Terminal 4 had Shahzad's name and photo, a source told the Daily News.

"He was looking to get out of the country," a source told The News.

Shahzad, 30, of Connecticut, bought his mobile weapon of mass destruction on craigslist - and paid a 19-year-old college student $1,300 cash for it.

He is believed to have links to international terrorists and was already under surveillance for two days when the feds moved in.

They had hoped he would lead them to other possible suspects but scooped him up at JFK when he looked ready to run.

Shahzad bought the 1993 Nissan Pathfinder that he left in Times Square last Saturday night two weeks ago in a deal without paperwork, sources said. The National Security Agency had also been tracking his cell phone calls, some of which had been made to overseas numbers.

The SUV was packed with enough fuel, fertilizer and explosives to ignite a massive fireball - and kill scores of people.

In Times Square, New Yorkers and tourists alike were thrilled to hear today that Shahzad was now in the hands of the law.

"They did a great job getting this guy so fast," said Diana Suliz, 22, a bartender from the Bronx. "I feel safer now that they've got him."

But she's still worried about the future.

"I'm scared now that this might be part of a bigger terrorism threat. I have a daughter, she's only 9 months old," she said. "I don't want her to have to grow up worrying about terrorists in her own city."

Holder assured New York - and the nation - that law enforcement officials are on the case.

"This investigation is ongoing, it is multifaceted, and it is aggressive," he said. "As we move forward, we will focus on not just holding those responsible for it accountable."

Sources told The News early Tuesday that the feds are tracking three associates who may have helped the suspect

Shahzad tried to cover his tracks when he drove the Pathfinder to Times Square.

The vehicle identification number was defaced, but detectives found it stamped on the engine block and axle to get a lead on the current owner.

NYPD and FBI detectives identified Shahzad after tracking down the previous owner, Peggy Colas of Bridgeport, Conn., sources said. She told investigators she had turned over the keys to the mystery man at a Connecticut mall, sources said.

Peggy Colas

"Of course I'm scared. If I say something and he comes here, then what?" she said from her home earlier Monday night, before Shahzad was arrested. Authorities whisked her away to shield her from the encamped media.

Colas told cops the buyer paid with $100 bills, and he used a bogus name - though his cell phone number worked. When she found out who bought the car, Colas freaked out, posting on her Facebook page: "OMG! I had a crazy day. ... It's official. I have bad luck. ... I hope they find that bastard."

Her family couldn't believe her luck either.

"He came off like a nice guy, I guess," one of Colas' brothers said. "He told my sister, 'I'm going to New York.' He said he needed a car in the city."

As Shahzad was tracked, investigators have also started looking at a Connecticut-based Web site purporting to represent a faction of the Taliban in Pakistan, sources said. The site went up last week, and within 24 hours of the failed bombing was laying claim to an attack on American soil, law enforcement sources said.

The arrest appears to eliminate as a suspect the still-unidentified white man caught by security cameras stripping off a dark shirt to reveal a red one after the SUV was abandoned in Times Square.

The arrest came after a day of fast-moving developments:

- The White House uttered the T-word for the first time in connection with the failed plot that sent a scare through the city.

"I would say that was intended to terrorize, and I would say that whomever did that would be categorized as a terrorist," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

- Motorized traffic into Manhattan slowed to a crawl as officers checked trucks entering the East River tunnels - and gave New Yorkers a jarring flashback to the tense days after the 9/11 attacks.

- Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) called for federal funding for a midtown surveillance program that would use security cameras and license plate scanners to track every vehicle moving between 34th and 59th Sts.

Inside the Pathfinder, cops found dozens of M-88 firecrackers, three tanks of BBQ-style propane, two red plastic jugs of gasoline and a metal locker densely packed with eight supermarket bags of fertilizer.

The whole shebang was wired to two cheap, yellow, old-fashioned travel alarm clocks set to work in tandem - one to blow up the propane tanks and the other to explode the contents of the locker.

The fertilizer was not explosive-grade and would not have produced the kind of devastation associated with ammonium nitrate bombs - like the one in Oklahoma City in 1995.

But the propane tanks pack an explosive punch that could have shattered windows and done all kinds of damage in Times Square, officials said.

The Pathfinder was parked by "The Lion King" marquee on W.45th St., right next to the 1515Broadway headquarters of Viacom, which owns Comedy Central.

The bombing plot was foiled by two sharp-eyed street vendors who spotted smoke seeping from the SUV just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and alerted mounted Officer Wayne Rhatigan. He then sounded the alarm.
