Infamous Mobb Deep performed two of their classic hits "Shook Ones Part II" and "Quiet Storm" for Sway In the Morning's concert series Tuesday (November 22).
The duo also chopped it up with Sway and Devi Dev about Prodigy's workout routine, their Black Cocaine EP and advice for their kids.
T-Pain appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday (December 6) to promote his new album rEVOLVEr, which hit stores on Tuesday as well. The R&B singer ditched his signature auto-tune sound while performing "Drowning Again" and "5 O'Clock."
Looks like Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z are expecting a new bundle of joy just in time for Christmas.
In a new behind the scenes clip from her "Live at Roseland: Elements of 4" Deluxe DVD, Beyonce puts an end to any speculation by giving viewers the date of her pregnancy.
"Hello, it's Sept. 23. Oh baby! Oh baby! Oh baby! Oh baby! This was on the cover of the Daily News," she says pointing to her picture on the cover. "Right now I'm actually shooting the video for 'Countdown' and I'm six months pregnant, pretending that my stomach is flat in body suits. But thank God you can't really tell from the front, but when I turn to the side. Oh baby! Oh baby!"
Check the clip out below, plus a behind the scenes look at her most recent video "Dance For You."
It's obvious Lil Wayne could care less what people think about his choice of wardrobe, but that doesn't mean he won't continue to be criticized.
Weezy and his YMCMB crew were performing at the MTV2's “Sucker Free Awards” at LIV Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Friday when a fan started to get on him about his giraffe-print pants.
The fan started screaming at Wayne, who was also wearing a yellow ski hat and matching fanny pack to "take off Lil Kim's jeans" and "f*ck Nicki Minaj."
Weezy was nominated for “Artist Of The Year” and “Album Of The Year” for Tha Carter IV. The show will air December 4th on MTV2 at 11P/10C.
Peep the hilarious clip below as well as YMCMB's full set which included performances by Lil Twist(“Turnt Up”), Tyga(“Rack City”) and Birdman featuring Lil Wayne ("Y U Mad).
Dr. Dre recently surprised the hip hop world when he announced recently that he would be taking a break from music to concentrate on spending more time with his family after completing projects for Kendrick Lamar and Slim The Mobster.
Slim sat down with MTV's Sway recently to talk about that very subject.
"After 27 years and for the time that I've been around, he hasn't beeon out of the studio long," Slim told Sway. "So, let him have a break. He gave us Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg; he gave us a lot of things and it's time. It's some rappers that aint gave us nothing. So, let the man have fun now."
Sway asked Slim if it's possible that Dre could give us Detox before he goes on hiatus.
"I'm hoping, that's what we're shooting for right?" Slim replied.
Slim also confirmed that he's heard tracks with Drake and Jay-Z on them, but he has no idea if they will make the final cut.
"I don't know he's picky. He don't care about that name stuff," The South Central, L.A. rapper said. "It's gotta be appeasing to him and what he likes. And the thing too is people tend to forget that he is not a rapper. He is a producer. That's what his craft is... he makes the music. That's why Eminem's albums sound the way they do because he knows how to work those buttons and people tend to forget that. When you look at the records that he's made over the years he was more on the producing side of it. Those are the biggest records, the Eminem's, the 50 Cent's."

Slim The Mobster speaks on Dr. Dre taking a break from music
Kevin Hart was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno earlier this week.
It was Kevin's first time on the show, but you couldn't tell. The comedian looked comfortable and kept the audience, as well as fellow guest, actress Rene Russo in stitches.
The choice to have Kanye West close the three day Coachella Festival was not a popular one among the festivals' traditional audience. But Kanye proved any naysayers wrong by closing things out in style.
Day two of the Coachella Music Festival saw Raphael Saadiq and Erykah Badu grace the stage.
Badu performed a bit of everything during her 36 minute set. She had to wake the lazy crowd up during "On & On" asking them "damn yall don't feel that?"
Saadiq would take the stage later in the evening. with a damn good band in tow. Raphael's set was a lengthy 45 minutes, but seemed to fly by as he jammed out to hits like "Be Here" and "Staying in Love."
Big Snoop Dogg hit up the Lopez Tonight show and caught up on old times with George.
The Doggfather has a new album out 'The Doggumentary' in stores now. Incredible to think it's his 11th solo cd. They chopped it up about the new disc, pondered if Snoop should run for president, and cleared up a funny rumor that's been floating around.
When Cameron Diaz appeared on Lopez Tonight recently, she said she bought weed from Snoop in high school. Snoop didn't exactly deny it.
"I might have sold her some of that "white girl weed". you know ... sticks and stems and seeds," Snoop joked.
Later in the show Snoop linked with the Lopez Tonight in studio band, the Esa Vatos to perform "Boom" off his new album.
The Ruff Ryders click of Swizz Beatz, DMX, Eve, Drag-On and The Lox were at their peak when they dropped 'Ride Or Die Vol.2' in 2000.
"WW III" was without a doubt the cd's highlight. I'm really glad they shot a video for this because outside of Beanie Sigel and Jay-Z, Scarface hasn't done a lot of work with East Coast artists.
The second video is classic because it's one of the last times the original Hot Boys and Big Tymers graced the stage together. Eventually legal problems, money, egos and drugs separated Mannie Fresh, Turk, B.G. and Juvenile from Cash Money.

Already making big moves in the game, Fred The Godson plans on holding onto his spot for a while.
Fred The G spoke with Swagg DVD about the amount of love he's been getting from his peers and the hard work he's putting in to earn it.
"Saturday night I could be doing a lot of things, but you see where I'm at [in the studio]. You got a lot of people that want me now because of the work ethic as far as the lyrics, the videos and the freestyles. It's just everything to do with hard work. You gotta want to do it. Some people wanna do it halfway, if you take it halfway I don't think this game is for you," he said.
Fred has also gotten big co-signs from Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel and Rakim. He talks about what that feels like.
"That's motivation enough to keep going, these are rappers I look up to," Fred says. "Jay is one of the best ever. Beans I always looked at as one of my favorites and I would never guess in like a week turnaround, me tearing down a showcase, couple of days later I'd be in front of him rapping and he'd be blown away by it and the rest is history."
Being young in the game, Fred still hasn't had the chance to work with all of the producers and rapper's he would like to. He names the top 5 in each category he'd like to link up with.
"Producers that I would like to work with I would say definitely Just Blaze, Dr Dre, DJ Khalil's a beast and Teddy Riley, I need one of them old school Guy joints," Fred said. "Top rappers off the top, Big Pun and Biggie are my favorites, but their untimely demise messed everything up so I wouldn't even put them at the top 5. I'm just gonna say I wish, rest in peace. But the top 5 rappers that I'd love that I think is crazy is Jay, of course 50 [Cent], Nas, Eminem and my boy Jadakiss."
Peep the rest of interview as Fred talks about his battles with asthma, kidney problems and diabetes and a lot more.
Watching Martin Lawrence's interview with George Lopez was like eavesdropping on two old friends.
George cracked jokes on Martin about his recent marriage to a "sista" he waited 14 years to tie the knot with.
Their upcoming film with Jamie Foxx, "Skank Robbers" was also discussed. In it Martin and Jamie will reprise their roles as Sheneneh and Wanda from their old sitcoms 'Martin' and 'In Living Color.'
Martin is heading back out on the road to do stand up after a long hiatus. He speaks on his motivation for wanting to do that and his kids.
