Flashback to 2001, Brooklyn's Jay-Z and Queen's Nas are embroiled in a legendary rap beef. Nas let off the shot heard round the world with "Ether", but the battle between Hov and Nas was far from over. It got even more personal as Jigga would claim that he had slept with Nas' baby's mom.
They continued to beef well into 2002. By that time the boroughs had chosen sides, QB was firmly behind Nas just as BK was for Jigga.
Either assuming he would be ok in Queens, or just not giving a f*ck, Beanie Sigel and Young Chris of the Young Gunz decided to perform at a club in Queens.
In the eyes of some in the Queens crowd though, being that Beans and Chris were signed to Roc-A-Fella Records at the time, they were seen as the enemy.
As Beanie & Chris perform someone throws something at them, prompting Beanie to throw his mic into the crowd.
While not everything was caught on tape. There's enough footage to show that both Beanie and Chris were lucky to get out of there alive that night.
Reportedly someone was shout outside of the venue and later died.

Omarion has to be wondering why certain people seem hell bent on ruining his career.
The singer has been dogged by rumors regarding his sexuality recently. First former B2K member Raz-B and his brother Ricky Romance declared the "Ice Box" singer was homosexual. Then on Saturday (January 8) a press release was sent out announcing Omarion was bisexual.
Omarion says the press release was fake, but here is what it said:
“I pride myself in being an honest, God Fearing, respectful man. I have kept my personal life private and wanted to keep it that way. Unfortunately, other’s are interested in profiting from my anguish; so before they can do that, i will clarify things. I am not at all what certain ex-band members are trying to paint me as, I am however a respectable, mature, proud, bisexual man.”
Omarion, who was in Japan at the time immediately denied being responsible for the press release, he tweeted his 350,000 twitter followers assuring them the press release was fake.
Soon afterwards, O's PR team sent out an official press release.
"The previously released statement regarding Omarion is false and was generated for negative publicity by an unknown person. Omarion will not contribute to anything negative said or done against him. Omarion respects all of his fans, no matter religion, sexuality, or race."
The rumors got so out of hand, Omarion became a trending topic on Twitter. Frustrated, he called into Hot 97 from Japan to speak with Funkmaster Flex and once and for all clear up the rumors.
"First and foremost let me say I did not release that statement. Whatever people like is their business, but I'm not gay or bisexual, I love women and that's just what it is." Omarion told Flex.
At this point nobody knows who sent out the fake press release, but check out the rest of what Omarion had to say about the situation to Funk Flex below.
Brazil wants to become the mecca for live entertainment and it's shelling out lots of money to prove it.
UK singer Amy Winehouse just performed the 1st of 5 scheduled shows in the South American country, where she is being paid more than $6 million dollars according to the UK Sun.
"Amy will be rolling in it. Brazil is keen to establish itself as a major player in live music and is attracting a host of top stars," a source tells the publication. "A lot of money is being thrown around to secure their services and it's working."
Winehouse hasn't released an album since 2006's 'Back to Black.' A disc that won her 5 Grammys and has sold 10 million copies worldwide.
It's a testament to her tremendous talent that she's still being paid big paper to perform live.
The singer was reportedly paid $1.3 million to play a show in Russia just before Christmas, and has big money gigs lined up in Dubai as part of Gulf Bike Week.
Amy's performance last night at the Il Divino venue in Florianopolis was part of Brazil's Summer Soul Festival.
Next she plays two headlining shows at the Arena HSBC in Rio De Janeiro Rio, followed by gigs in Recife and Sao Paulo.
Hopefully all these shows mean we'll be getting Amy's much delayed third solo album. It's rumored to be coming out later this year.

In 9-minute commentary on MSNBC Saturday, Keith Olbermann sought to attribute 'death fantasies and dreams of blood lust' to the Tea Party movement and to the Republican Party in general.
The shooting of Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was addressed in a 9 minute segment of commentary by MSNBC's Keith Olbermann on Saturday, taking a fresh opportunity to affix a national tragedy to those who espouse beliefs not shared by Mr. Olbermann: the Tea Party movement and the Republican Party in general.
Citing a report in The Guardian, Congresswoman Giffords remains in critical condition following the horrific shooting outside a grocery store in Tucson, Arizona.
Gabrielle Giffords
Six other people died in the attack, including a 9-year-old girl. 18 people in total were shot - and the doctors operating on Giffords believe she is going to survive.
"I can tell you at this time I am very optimistic about her recovery," Dr. Peter Rhee said, according to The Guardian. "We cannot tell what kind of recovery, but I'm as optimistic as it can get in this kind of situation."
But Keith Olbermann sought to tether this tragedy to a political agenda, attaching the madness of this shooting to Sarah Palin, Sharon Angle, Glenn Beck, and a host of other right-leaning figures.
"If Sarah Palin, whose website put and today scrubbed bulls-eye targets on 20 representatives, including Gabby Giffords does not repudiate her own part - however tangential in amplifying violence and violent imagery in American politics - she must be dismissed from politics," Olbermann said. "She must be repudiated by the members of her own party. And if they fail to do so, each one of them must be judged to have silently defended this tactic that today proved so awfully foretelling."
Sarah Palin's Bullseye Target List
By widening the scope of those individuals in Sarah Palin's community of colleagues, Mr. Olbermann is extending blame to the entirety of the Republican Party.
"If Sharon Angle, who spoke of Second Amendment remedies does not repudiate that remark and urge her supporters to think anew and again of the terrible reality of what her words implied, she must be repudiated by her supporters in Nevada," Olbermann said.
And then Mr. Olbermann turned his attention to Fox News hosts Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly.
Bill O'Reilly
"If Glenn Beck who obsesses nearly as strangely as this Mr. Loughner did about gold and debt - and who wistfully joked about killing Michael Moore - and Bill O'Reilly who blithely repeated 'Tiller the Killer' until the phrase was burned into the minds of his viewers; if they do not begin their next broadcasts with solemn apologies for ever turning to the death fantasies and the dreams of blood lust, for ever having provided just the oxygen for those deep in madness for whom violence is an acceptable solution then those commentators and the others must be repudiated by their viewers and listeners, by all politicians who would appear on their programs - including President Obama and his planned interview with Fox on Superbowl Sunday, and repudiated by the sponsors and by the networks that employ them."
