Video After The Jump.
Oscar and Grammy winning "Dreamgirl," Jennifer Hudson talks to Marysol Castro about her weight loss, motherhood, music and her new movie role as Winnie Mandela.
Hudson is also giving back to the community through the Jennifer Hudson Foundation, which helps families affected by violent crime. She says it's a way to honor her nephew Julian King, who was murdered along with Hudson's mother and older brother in October 2008.
Jennifer has not forgotten her musical roots. She's working on her 1st album since 2008's self titled cd, so far she has worked with Alicia Keys on the project. The disc is due out in February 2011
