Don V is a polished, emerging Lyricist, born and bred in Chicago's "North Pole" section.
January 26th, 2015 sees the release of his newest material, after such positive feedback from his previous body of work which Don returns even bigger and better than before.
V has a background writing and putting together rhymes & songs since his younger days.
With influences from the likes of 2pac, Jadakiss & Jay Z, V has been a fan of hip hop and since then has been travelling and recording, dropping features and working on new Mixtape & Singles. With his unapologetic approach to rhymes, street style and conscious content we can only expect the best to come as he makes his way into and most definitely UP the scene.
V has worked with various artists and producers including Co-Still,
Bo - G & Bruus to name a few.
After spending the most part of 2014 on the grind pushing product as well as the North City Ent brand, V has come firing back across the waters with a classic body of work entailing hard-hitting hip hop tales of his experiences as well as life in Chicago & the overall struggle in general.
V delivers his musical passion with enthusiasm and discipline. As he continues to broaden his knowledge and refine his skills, 2015 undoubtedly is bright for “The Future’s Own.”
The Mixtape features the blazing singles – "Thats All" featuring fellow chicago artist & producer "Bruus" and "Royalty" [Feat. Peter Jericho]
The North City Ent. rapper is nothing short of outspoken and his new Mixtape will be dubbed a respected enigma in Hip-Hop music.
As V puts it: “I felt this project was important in respects to everything I’ve seen and experienced over the past few years. I may be speaking from my perspective, but by speaking about my experiences I speak for many”
