UFC fighter Tito Ortiz is known for throwing his weight around in the Octagon. This morning however, he was arrested for allegedly attacking his live-in girlfriend and baby's mother, Jenna Jameson.

Police responded to a disturbance call at the couple's Orange County,Ca home this morning. Moments later, Tito was being led away in handcuffs.

Jameson, a very well known porn actress was later seen with a medical brace on her arm.

She told TMZ she feels "betrayed" that Tito would lash out at her. She also said she has filed a restraining order against him.

After being released from police custody, Tito held a press conference. He says Jenna is battling an Oxycontin addiction.

Tito's lawyer alleges that when he confronted Jenna after catching her relapsing on the drug, she went bananas and at no point did he hit her.

Dana White, the President of the UFC said Tito could be released from his contract with the company pending the outcome of the investigation.

PHOENIX — The furor over Arizona’s new law cracking down on illegal immigrants grew Monday as opponents used refried beans to smear swastikas on the state Capitol, civil rights leaders demanded a boycott of the state and the Obama administration weighed a possible legal challenge.

Activists are planning a challenge of their own, hoping to block the law from taking effect by arguing that it encroaches on the federal government’s authority to regulate immigration and violates people’s constitutional rights by giving police too much power.

The measure — set to take effect in late July or early August — would make it a crime under state law to be in the U.S. illegally. It directs state and local police to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal.

"If you look or sound foreign, you are going to be subjected to never-ending requests for police to confirm your identity and to confirm your citizenship," said Alessandra Soler Meetze, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona, which is exploring legal action.

Employees at the Capitol came to work Monday to find that vandals had smeared swastikas on the windows. And protesters gathered for a second straight day to speak out against a law they say will lead to rampant racial profiling of anyone who looks Hispanic.

The White House would not rule out the possibility that the administration would take legal action against Arizona. President Barack Obama, who warned last week that the measure could lead to police abuses, asked the Justice Department to complete a review of the law’s implications before deciding how to proceed.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon said the law is discriminatory and warned that trade and political ties with Arizona will be seriously strained by the crackdown.

Currently, many U.S. police departments do not ask about people’s immigration status unless they have run afoul of the law in some other way. Many departments say stopping and questioning people will only discourage immigrants from cooperating to solve crimes.

Under the new Arizona law, immigrants unable to produce documents showing they are allowed to be in the U.S. could be arrested, jailed for up to six months and fined $2,500. That is a significant escalation of the typical federal punishment for being here illegally — deportation.

People arrested by Arizona police would be turned over to federal immigration officers. Opponents said the federal government could thwart the law by refusing to accept them.

Supporters of the law said it is necessary to protect Arizonans from crimes committed by illegal immigrants. Arizona is home to an estimated 460,000 illegal immigrants and is the nation’s busiest gateway for people slipping into the country.

Republican Gov. Jan Brewer, who signed the bill on Friday, said Arizona must act because Washington has failed to stop the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs from Mexico. Brewer has ordered state officials to develop a training course for officers to learn what constitutes reasonable suspicion that someone is in the U.S. illegally.

The crux of opponents’ arguments is that only the federal government has the authority to regulate immigration.

"If every state had its own laws, we wouldn’t be one country; we’d be 50 different countries," said Thomas Saenz, president and general counsel of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

Kevin Johnson, dean of the law school at the University of California-Davis and an immigration law professor, said such a lawsuit would have a very good chance of success. He said the state law gets into legal trouble by giving local law enforcement officers the authority to enforce immigration laws.

"States can’t give them that power," Johnson said. "The federal government could if it wanted to, but it hasn’t."

However, Gerald Neuman, a Harvard Law School professor, said Arizona could make a compelling legal argument that it has overlapping authority to protect its residents.

Johnson said opponents could also argue that the law could violate their Fourth Amendment protection against unreasonable search and seizure because it gives police officers broad authority to determine who should be questioned.

Kris Kobach, a University of Missouri-Kansas City law professor who helped write the Arizona legislation, said he anticipated legal challenges and carefully drafted the language. He said the state law is only prohibiting conduct already illegal under federal law.

In a statement Friday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said the state’s new law would probably hinder law enforcement in dealing with more serious crimes. Napolitano vetoed similar proposals when she was Arizona governor.

"They would have diverted critical law enforcement resources from the most serious threats to public safety and undermined the vital trust between local jurisdictions and the communities they serve," she said.

San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera urged policymakers in the city to stop dealing with Arizona and Arizona businesses. Leaders in Mexico and California also demanded a boycott, as did civil rights leader Al Sharpton.

The law has strong public support in Arizona, where passions have been running high since a rancher was killed close to the Mexican border last month, apparently by drug smugglers from across the border.

As the soap opera continues to play out and the drama unfolds, DJ Premier refutes the notion that rapper Guru was actually in sound mind, let alone conscious, when his farewell letter was penned.

During a tribute mix, Premo reflected on what's happened recently. Upon a visit, the DJ spoke on how there seemed to be a lack of treatment for Guru when it came to maintaining a particular appearance, questioning if his “caretaker” really had good intentions.

"From what I was hearing - him waking up, and writing and tweeting...there's no way! There's no way! We saw him - he looked so gone!

And if you love him, and you're care of him, why in the f*k did his nails look longer than a f**king ruler? [And he had a] clump afro. I've taken care of people in the hospital. You can wash their head, you can clean their nails up, clean their feet. His feet were swollen, and his toenails were really disgusting. So, because of that, it really f**ked me up."

Regardless of how the rapper felt about Premier trying to continue involvement in Gang Starr, the producer states that their history together can never be erased an d he will carry the name no matter what.

"When I saw Guru, it just really f**ked me up. I wore a Gang Starr shirt , first of all, just for the energy, and jus so he knew that's forever with us. Forever."

The US military will end its disaster relief mission in Haiti at the beginning of June, nearly six months after the massive earthquake struck.

There are currently 2,200 US troops in the country, down from a peak of 22,000 in February when large numbers were despatched to help the aid effort.

Some 500 National Guard troops and reservists will remain in Haiti to help aid workers, a US commander said.

January's quake killed up to 230,000 people and left one million homeless.

In the weeks following the disaster, the US sent around 22,000 military personnel to Haiti, some 7,000 on the ground and the rest on ships offshore.

"I expect us to - on or about 1 June - to be able to stand down the joint task force," said Lt Gen Ken Keen, who ended his stint as head of the operation on Sunday.

He said the military could step back mainly because of "the increasing capacity of non-government organisations that are really running much of the humanitarian efforts within the country".

Some 500 members of the Louisiana National Guard will arrive in Haiti before June and stay on in Haiti until September to help with rebuilding efforts.

In the immediate aftermath, US troops were involved in emergency relief operations.

Now they are helping move people from makeshift camps to safer locations as the rainy season nears.

The scale of the US deployment provoked some criticism that aid deliveries were delayed while troops were rushed in.

Gen Keen said he felt, given the scale of the disaster, that the military operations went well and saved lives.

But he said lessons should be learned, allowing the military to assess needs in a disaster more quickly and improve logistics and co-ordination.

Anticipating challenges sooner was key, Gen Keen said, "such like what are you going to do with 1,000 homeless Haitians as we developed camps?

"These camps that have developed in Port-au-Prince area, nearly 1,300, according to the UN, developed spontaneously. They were not, obviously, set up and organised in any fashion."

On Mondays, we usually bring you our main pick, but we had to start this week by saluting mixtapes. We're proud that so many MCs are stepping their mixtape game up. The mixtape world is strong, potent and competitive right now.

This year alone, we've seen Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa, Jim Jones and Asher Roth drop product off in the streets and the Internet. The next few weeks are going to be flooded with ferocity, with Young Jeezy and T.I. just to name a couple, dropping soon. Long live the underground!

We asked Drake — the guy with the biggest mixtape of the past few years, So Far Gone — what he thought about the state of mixtapes right now. He said everyone has to come with their best.

"I think that when creating a mixtape, you have to approach it with a selfless mind-set," Drake told us. "A mixtape can't be the songs that don't make your album, or songs that aren't good enough to make your album make your mixtape — unless you're that good. There aren't that many people that are that good. I'm not that good. That mixtape [So Far Gone] is me working my hardest. It wasn't 'Oh, here are the songs I'm gonna give away to you 'cause I have better songs coming.' A mixtape has become an album.

"Before, I remember people used to be in the studio cutting songs, and they would be like, 'Oh, that song is OK. I'll just put it on my mixtape,' " he added. "Now a mixtape is an actual tool. It's a format you need. You don't necessarily need it, but it can be useful. Like with Fab and the other guys, I know they do a lot of rapping on other guys' beats. It's hard to tour like that, as incredible as it may be. Now Wayne, when the No Ceilings set comes on, it's ridiculous. It's hard to rap over other people's songs and have it be timeless. With So Far Gone, when I did flip other people's songs, half the time people didn't know what song it was. I tried to pick stuff that was new or rare or just like an album cut. But yeah, man, if I use somebody else's beat, I try to make a song out of it."

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- An armed man who was spotted at a North Carolina airport parking lot just after Air Force One departed and said he wanted to see the president was to appear before a judge Monday.

Authorities arrested Joseph Sean McVey, 23, of Coshocton, Ohio, on Sunday afternoon at the Asheville Regional Airport and charged him with going armed in terror of the public, a misdemeanor.

A first appearance in court was scheduled for Monday, said Sgt. John Lutz of the Buncombe County jail, where McVey was being held on $100,000 bond.

McVey told an officer in the airport parking lot he wanted to see the president and he had a car equipped with police gear, including a siren and flashing lights, though he did not work in law enforcement, authorities said.

Security was heightened at the airport Sunday because President Barack Obama was leaving after spending the weekend vacationing in Asheville.

At about 2 p.m., airport police saw McVey get out of a maroon car with Ohio plates and that he had a sidearm, airport police Capt. Kevan Smith said. Both airport police and the Secret Service questioned him and he was taken into custody. The suspect was nowhere near the president's plane, which had just departed, and was in a rental car return lot that is open to the public, Smith said.

His car was equipped with clear LED law enforcement-style strobe lights in the front and rear dash, Smith said. The car also had a mounted digital camera in the front window, four large antennas on the trunk lid, and under the steering wheel was a working siren box.

When McVey got out of the car, he was listening to a handheld scanner and radio that had a remote earpiece, Smith said. Police said he was monitoring local agencies and had formulas for rifle scopes on a note in his cup holder. Police did not immediately elaborate on what the formulas might mean.

McVey gave authorities an Ohio driver's license, but a computer check failed to show the number was valid, police said. His hometown of Coshocton is about halfway between Pittsburgh and Columbus, Ohio.

When Officer Kaleb Rice asked him what he was doing, McVey told him he heard the president was in town and wanted to see him.

Rice removed the firearm and took McVey into custody.

The investigation into what McVey was doing with a gun, with formulas for rifle scopes and why his car was equipped with police gear was continuing, Smith said. The Secret Service had no comment on the arrest Sunday, deferring to airport police.

James Cameron didn't need 3-D to break this record.

Just four days after debuting on store shelves, "Avatar" has sold 2.7 million Blu-ray discs to consumers in the U.S. and Canada, according to 20th Century Fox -- more Blu-rays than any previous movie has sold. The previous record holder, "The Dark Knight," has sold 2.5 million Blu-rays since its debut 16 months ago.

Fox also sold 4 million standard definition DVDs. The combined total makes "Avatar" the biggest DVD launch of the year, breaking a previous mark of 4 million Blu-ray and DVDs combined set by "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" on its first weekend in March.

"Avatar" also debuted Thursday in France, where it sold a combined 400,000 units on DVD and Blu-ray, the biggest-ever launch in the country. It is at the top of the charts in Germany as well, although specific sales figures weren't immediately available. It goes on sale in Great Britain on Monday.

The huge debut for "Avatar" on home video dispels concerns that consumers wouldn't want to see it on a 2-D home television after most watched it in theaters in 3-D. Eighty-three percent of "Avatar's" $746.4-million domestic gross has come from theaters with 3-D screens. More than 70% of its $1.975-billion international gross has come from 3-D.

The news comes as Fox recently signed deals with kiosk renter Redbox and DVD-by-mail firm Netflix that keep "Avatar" and all of the studio's future releases off the services until 28 days after they go on sale.

"Avatar" provides a much needed shot in the arm to Hollywood's home entertainment business, which saw its revenue fall 8% in the first three months of the year and 5% last year.

On a Thursday evening (April 22) media round up that included VIBE, multi-divisional boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. was in rare form. During the telephone conference call, the unplugged pugilist, who is set to fight three-time division champion Shane Mosley on May 1, said his future opponent is not even in his class, pointing out his past steroid use, of which Mosely used during his 2003 win against Oscar De La Hoya.

Shane is a solid welterweight,” the undefeated Mayweather began diplomatically. “But I don’t know where I would put Mosely. I can’t see how a guy could call himself great or putting himself as a future hall-of-famer. This is a guy…we don’t know how long he was taking enhancement drugs. He’s been around the sport for a long, long time. He’s done some things in this sport. But he’s a fighter that always worries about landing one big shot. And I worry about being smart and winning. When Shane punches, a lot of times he closes his eyes. We are two totally different fighters.”

When Mayweather’s attention turned to rival Manny Pacquiao, who like Pretty Boy has been called boxing’s best pound-for-pound fighter today, the brazen talent ripped, “Manny Pacquiao struggled twice with [Juan Manuel] Marquez, which we know he really lost. And we know he’s been knocked out twice. He’s been out-boxed by Erik Morales, but they still give him Boxer of the Decade. So that’s something I don’t understand. He beat a Miguel Cotto that was stretched by me. I’m trying to find out what it really is.” Mayweather then insinuated Pacquiao’s own performance enhancement drug usage. “All I’m saying is if you are a clean athlete, take a test,” he said. “Show the world. I’m a natural.”

But perhaps Mayweather’s most eyebrow-raising comment came when he proclaimed he was the superior fighter to storied middleweight boxing legend Sugar Ray Robinson and the first three-time heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali—who is often universally praised as the greatest fighter of all time. “Why not?” he explained. “I take my hat off to them. I got respect for Sugar Ray Robinson; I got respect for Muhammad Ali. But I’m a man just like they’re a man. I put on my pants on just like they [do]. What makes them any better than I am? Because they fought 1000 fights and my era is totally different. It’s pay-per-view now, so things change. It’s out with the old, in with the new. Muhammad was one hell of a fighter. But Floyd Mayweather is the best. Sugar Ray Robinson was one hell of a fighter, but Floyd Mayweather is the best.”

Mayweather Jr. (40-0, 25 KOs) and Mosley (46-5, 39 KOs) will square up at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for a welterweight pay-per-view super fight that most certainly will produce drama.

(AllHipHop News) Cypress Hill group member B-Real has weighed in growing division between older West coast rappers and a crop of new emcees from various parts of California.

Cypress Hill and Ice Cube were engaged in a feud on wax between 1995 and 1997.

While he didn’t call out names, Ice Cube took to his blog to address rumors that new talent from the West coast like Jay Rock, Glasses Malone, Crooked I and Bishop Lamont, felt the veterans were not supporting the new artists.

He’s gotta a point man, he don’t owe anybody nothing,” B-Real told AllHipHop.com. “That’s just the reality of it. He doesn’t own them nothing.

B-Real was referring to a controversial statement Ice Cube made in March on his official blog, while promoting his new album, I Am the West.

"I don't even remember ever meeting these clowns or even being in the same room with any of 'em. They can't make a name for themselves so they need help from the O/G's. I refuse the throw'em a life line. f**k'em. It ain't my job to make nobody famous," Ice Cube stated.

B-Real said the real culprit is radio on the West coast, in particular and that local radio stations were over saturated with artists from the South.

You got a few people doing some real cool s**t but then it all starts to sound generic,” B-Real told AllHipHop.com. “And then you can’t differentiate the good from the sh**ty. It starts to all sound the same. And I think that’s the problem that’s going on down there. But I can’t hate, do your thing.”

As for the West coast artists, B-Real agreed that it was important to continue to support the new batch of artists, even if local radio does not.

These guys ain’t getting no love from the radio, they ain’t getting love from nobody. But once and a while we gotta show these guys some love,” B-Real told AllHipHop.com. “These are the next generation of dudes so we have to support them.”

A Fort Worth, Texas high school teacher resigned this week after a video surfaced of him "slap boxing" one of his students.

Brad Graves was a teacher at Castleberry High School where he would challenge some of his 9th grade students to box him.

This evidently had been going on for quite a while. It wasn't until a video was posted on youtube of one of the matches did he finally get in trouble.

The match didn't end until the student said, "I am already bleeding, come on."

Another student, 15 year old Samuel Rubio said the teacher approached him during class saying, "let's go box in the restroom". Once there, the teacher started throwing hard "body shots".

Superintendent Gary S. Jones said he thought Graves had sparred with students at least three other times.

"We don't slap-box," Jones said. "We don't hit kids. It's unacceptable."

The teacher said he was just trying to motivate the students.

"His intentions might have been good," Jones said. "But his behavior was unacceptable. He was acting like one of the kids."

Graves resigned after meeting with school officials on Monday.

The Father of pop star Britney Spears has banned her from leaving her Los Angeles home without a bra, The Sun reported Friday.

Father Jamie - who has legal control over all Spears’ affairs - fears his troubled daughter is getting close to the brink again and has imposed a host of new rules on the Womanizer singer.

He is embarrassed by constant pictures of her nipples popping out of her clothes and has insisted she only leaves her Los Angeles home wearing the correct support.

Jamie, 57, is taking the order so seriously he has even threatened to fire one of the 28-year-old's security guards who has let her be photographed bra-less several times in recent weeks.

Jamie recently forced his daughter, who has two sons, to dump her 38-year-old boyfriend Jason Trawick because he was worried she was falling back into her emotional turmoil after years of recovery.

He feared their volatile relationship was sending fragile Britney close to the edge.

A friend revealed: "Jamie's control over Britney's life is incredible. He hates the pictures of her with her nipples all over the place so he has banned her from leaving the house without a bra.

"He wants her to put across the right impression.”

Lindsey Lohan will you please just go sit down somewhere and stop this madness?

The 'Mean Girls' actress continues her downward spiral as she now stand accused of stealing a $35,000 watch from a friend according to TMZ.

Law enforcement officials say she became a suspect after the friend accidentally left the watch at her crib and it magically vanished.

According to sources, the police went to question Lindsay Wednesday (April 21).

Although the actress denied knowing where the watch was, police are said to have photographis evidence that proves otherwise.

So far, no arrests have been made and when contacted Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley said, "The allegations are completely untrue."

In more bizarre Lindsey news, her father Michael Lohan, an ex-addict himself who served seven years in prison. Stormed her crib with police to stage an intervention and rescue his 16 year old daughter Ali Lohan.

Lindsey found time to tweet while all this was going down:

my lawyer isn’t answering I NEED A RESTRAINING ORDER! MY SISTER AND FRIEND TOO!!!!! HE’S NUTS!!!” my BUILDING didn’t STOP him, isn’t it supposed to be safe? THAT’S WHY I MOVED HERE! it coulda been FAKE cops! dressed up… let’s not forget, that my father KIDNAPPED me from a COURT ROOM when i was 4 years old and is CRAZY.”

A spokesperson for the L.A. County Sheriff’s office confirmed to US Weekly, “We were there. We found no evidence of abuse.”

Lindsey somehow blames Dr Drew Pinsky for all of this. Seems like this whole clan is 5150.
