Shameka Brown aka Lady is the first female artist on their label.

Atlanta MC Ludacris is about to drop his highly anticipated new cd 'Battle Of The Sexes' The disc will have features from male artists Plies, Ne-Yo and Flo Rida. So to even out the playing field XXL is reporting the album will also showcase the talents of red hot Young Money female MC Nicki Minaj, as well as Eve, Lil Kim and Trina. The Disturbing Tha Peace General recently released a new mixtape 'Conjure: A Hustler's Spirit' to get the masses warmed up for his 1st album since 2008's 'Theater Of The Mind' With the lead single "How Low" steadily climbing the charts, word is the next one will be the Pharrell Williams produced track "Banger" 'Battle of the Sexes' is scheduled to drop March 16. VladTV Reports In a recent twitter war between Ozone founder Julia Beverly and Oakland rapper Mistah Fab, Fab accuses Julia of engaging in sexual activities with various rappers.

When VladTV coverd the story, Julia quickly demanded that we provide proof! This is very interesting, because for the past few years Julia has been destroying the reputations of countless rappers in her popular 'Groupie Confessions' section of Ozone. Check out the attached image where a nameless groupie accuses Queens rapper Nore of trying to get his salad tossed.

Ozone's 'Groupie Confessions' leaves the identity of the 'groupie' as secret, and uses a flimsy 'disclaimer' as an excuse to print insane claims about various celebrities. Check out the video below where Plies, who has been featured many times on Ozone covers, talks about his disdain for 'Groupie Confessions'. He goes on to discuss that these articles are based on no facts and how many of the artists have committed relationships that become strained after the magazine gets released. So in closing, Julia - if you can't take it, don't dish it out. *disclaimer - Mistah Fab's accusations about Julia are based on rumor. This is the same nonsense disclaimer that Ozone puts before throwing people under the bus.

Rappers Support AIDS Awareness Campaign In Houston

Radio station KBXX-FM 97.9 is hosting their annual Hip Hop For HIV Awareness concert next month, a free concert aimed at promoting HIV/AIDS awareness in the city of Houston, Texas. KBXX 97.9 teamed with The Houston Department of Health and Human Services, Aids Foundation Houston, the NAACP in Houston and Amerigroup Community Care to produce the campaign, which kicked off today (June 22). The city-wide event, which ends July 10th, is aimed at spreading awareness about HIV and STD’s. The goal of campaign is to get over 15,000 youth and young adults between the ages of 15-40 in the city of Houston, tested for a variety of STD's. Each person tested will receive a ticket to a star-studded concert that takes place July 11 in Houston. The line up for the free concert includes Plies, Pleasure P, Day 26, Melanie Fiona, Bobby Valentino, LeToya Luckett, Twista, Yung Problemz, Yung L.A., G.T., Gorilla Zoe, Bun B and Ginuwine. Only those tested for HIV and receive their results will be eligible for the free ticket. For testing dates and locations or for additional information concerning this event go to www.kbxx.com.
