Baton Rouge rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again f.k.a. NBA YoungBoy could be facing a lengthy prison sentence if prosecutors have their way.

The Advocate reports that East Baton Rouge Parish Assistant District Attorney April Leon alleges the 18-year old is "a threat to society and the safety of others" in court documents. She wants the probation for his role in a nonfatal 2016 drive-by shooting.revoked ... and for him to serve the suspended 10-year prison term.

Monday's court proceedings stem from YoungBoy's February 24 arrest in Tallahasee, Florida on outstanding out-of-state warrants.

He's accused of body slamming his girlfriend, Jania, then dragging her back into their Waycross, Georgia hotel room. The scene was caught on surveillance footage, but Jania now says they were "just playing."

YoungBoy, born Kentrell Gaulden, was extradited to Georgia on February 26. He's being held without bail in a Ware County jail on charges of felony kidnapping and aggravated assault.

"It's serious, but it's not nearly as severe as it's been made out to be," YoungBoy's attorney, James Manasseh, argued. “There’s no kidnapping. There’s no weapons involved.”

He added that he has been in contact with Georgia officials.

Leon is asking the judge in the case to conduct a probation revocation hearing on May 18.

Migos are facing a lawsuit from a concert venue in Albany, New York for allegedly citing a riot during a 2015 show.

According to the suit obtained by TMZ, the group angered the crowd by showing up hours late. They refused to honor a meet-and-greet and reeked of alcohol and weed.

Once the concert kicked off, Migos allegedly started "encouraging, cheering and inciting the patrons to fight," the lawsuit claims.  And "caused patrons to be stabbed, robbed, beaten, severely harmed,and injured."

In addition, the trio were "laughing and egging the crowd on as metal gates were ripped from the ground and thrown into the crowd."

The TMZ article doesn't state the amount of damages the venue is seeking.

Mainstream hip-hop artists are routinely incorporating the island, carefree vibe within their music, especially in the last few years. Breakout reggae urban star KC Jockey is here to grace the fans with the Jamaican-style music they’ve been craving. With the artist’s native roots tracing back to Kingston, it’s no surprise that his music truly captures the essence so naturally. 
 
Coming from a strong background in music within his family, KC Jockey knew it was his destiny to develop a musical career. Ever since he knew how to make sounds as an infant, he was always humming and singing. Once he moved to the states, he pushed further in making his musical dreams a true reality, no matter how much work was involved. “Due to my parents being protective, I grew up somewhat sheltered. Once given the opportunity to go out of my element, I really wanted to get into my roots through music. So, I would perform around the neighborhood, and at block parties. It all spiraled from there,” said the artist. When it comes down to what makes him stand it out, it’s simply how organically he goes outside out the box. KC Jockey is the type of artist that avoids the easier route just to get to his final destination. “I try to take the harder route because I’m always searching for results in the end. I’m very versatile, so I like to blend my music with a little bit of everything, from pop to jazz to reggae. Not many people can do that,” said KC Jockey. 
 
Recently, KC announced the release of his new hit single, “Love in the Air”, which belongs to his upcoming EP of the same name. It has been a busy month for the artist, as he is gearing up to film the visuals for the single in the next few weeks. The single is a true reflection of KC’s artistry, as it showcases happiness, joy and love. “I like when people hear my music, and it brings them back to a dated moment. It’s something to remember; it’s something that brings you back to that certain memory. The EP has songs that reflect long-term memories with substance,” said KC. The EP will encompass his timeless, infectious sound he is known for. 
 
Not only is he an all-star vocalist and songwriter, KC also uses his platform to promote positivity throughout the world. Four years ago, he created his “Say No to Domestic Violence” project, which he poured his heart into. He will also bring awareness to the aggressive sickness that is cancer through his single, Cancer”. He will also address the issue of bullying through his song “Don’t Bully”. With such a variety of talent, such as acting in major motion pictures like I Am Legend alongside Will Smith, he plans to utilize his skills when putting the visuals together for his EP. Is there anything KC Jockey can’t do? One thing is for certain: he sets an example for artists from all genres to follow, both off and on stage. It’s no surprise that music labels are knocking at his front door, trying to work with him.

After spending four days in two separate hospitals Rick Ross is back at his Miami home, according to TMZ.

The 42-year old Maybach Music Group boss was at one point in critical condition, needing the help of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), a mechanical system that temporarily takes over the function of the lungs in patients with acute respiratory failure. It can also provide cardiac support until the patient recovers or is able to receive further treatment.

As we previously reported, Ross, born William Roberts II, was rushed to the hospital Thursday, March 1, after being found unresponsive, breathing heavily and "slobbing at the mouth."

He was released from the hospital early Monday morning and is now receiving treatment at home.

Canelo Alvarez has tested positive for a performance enhancing drug just two months ahead of his highly anticipated rematch with Gennady "GGG" Golovkin.

Forbes reports that on On Monday, March 5, Golden Boy Promotions issued a statement saying Alvarez was found to have trace levels of Clenbuterol in his system. The drug is used to cut body fat while maintaining muscle mass.

Alvarez believes the positive test was a result of ingesting contaminated meat. An issue that has been a problem for athletes in Mexico.

Per Daniel Eichner, Director of SMRTL, the WADA-accredited lab that conducted the tests, "these values are all within the range of what is expected from meat contamination."

"I am an athlete who respects the sport and this surprises me and bothers me because it had never happened to me," said Canelo. "I will submit to all the tests that require me to clarify this embarrassing situation and I trust that at the end the truth will prevail."

The boxer will be moving his training camp from Mexico to the United States. He's agreed to submit to a variety of VADA testing ahead of his May 5 fight with Golovkin.

Music producer and "Love and Hip Hop" star, Stevie J, will be headed to prison in April.

TMZ reports that the 44-year old, born Steven Aaron Jordan, will have to turn himself in April 10 for failure to pay child support.

He pleaded guilty to owing back child support in the amount of $1,304,835.86 last February. He was placed on 3 years probation and ordered to pay up.

Stevie didn't make good on his financial obligation. As a result, he'll soon be locked up.

A woman accusing Lil Wayne of fathering her 16-year old son will find out soon if he is the dad.

TMZ reports that Keiotia Watson initially filed legal documents in 2015, to establish paternity and get child support. She claims she and Wayne had a sexual relationship in June of 2001. Her son Dwayne, Tunechi's government name, was born in February 2002.

A Louisiana judge ordered Wayne to pay Watson $5,000 a month, but he never coughed up a dime because, according to him, he was never served legal papers.

That judgement was thrown out and a new one was ordered, requiring the Young Money Records boss to take a DNA test.

If Dwayne is determined to be the rapper's son it will be his fifth child with 5 different women. Wayne denies ever having sex with Watson.
