Machine Gun Kelly saw both good times and bad while in Florida last week for a couple of concerts. He was arrested, then released for disorderly conduct in St. Petersburg, but not before he successfully performed there on Saturday and in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday.

Mikey T The Movie Star caught up with the Cleveland rapper after his rowdy show at Club Revolution in Fort Lauderdale to talk about his Bad Boy Records deal and upcoming single.

"They gave me full creative control," MGK said if his Bad Boy deal. "I have creative control over everything on my project. It's worked out for me well. They let me grind and they don't hand me sh*t. I don't have a csilver spoon with that label, and that's what I asked for. Puff is a big brother to me. I signed for 2 [albums]."

MGK's "Wild Boy" single with Waka Flocka has been making some noise. He's getting ready to follow that up with the release a new single entitled "Rain."

"A song called Rain [is my next single]. I'm really excited about that song. It's a deep song," he said. "It's the opposite of Wild boy. A very revolutionary, rebellion type of message."

The fall of former Bad Boy artists continues.

Amir Junaid Muhadith aka Loon has been arrested in Belgium on charges of heroin distribution. According to Parlemento, the former rapper was in Brussels to give a lecture. He was detained at the request of the United States under the Patriot Act, following a May 2011 indictment that alleges he “knowingly and intentionally” possessed with intent to distribute at least one kilogram of heroin in North Carolina between early 2006 and September 2008.

A copy of the indictment was posted on the website DDotOMen on Friday November 25.

Loon enjoyed musical success between 1999 and 2003. First as a part of Ma$e's Harlem World group before going solo. He was featured on Diddy's hit record "I Need A Girl Pt.1" in 2001. In 2003 he released his self titled debut album which featured the song "Down For Me."

Born Chauncey Lamont Hawkins, Loon converted to Islam in 2008 and legally changed his name.

Today marks what would been the 39th birthday for a man who is arguably the best rapper of all time.

Christoper Wallace was known by many stage names: The Notorious B.I.G., Big Poppa, Biggie Smalls and The Black Frank White. Only 24 at the time of his untimely death, he recorded two classic albums, "Ready To Die" and "Life After Death", and outshined anyone he ever collaborated with.

Without Biggie there would be no Lil Kim or Lil Cease. Both of whom were introduced to the world via Biggie's group Junior M.A.F.I.A.

His unique delivery, voice and wordplay are still unmatched to this day.

So let's drink a toast today to Biggie and celebrate his legacy.

12348728255?profile=originalAdding a bizarre twist to an already strange story, former Bad Boy artist G-Dep is now saying he didn’t know the man he confessed to shooting 17 years ago had actually died.

In an interview with the New York Post, the troubled rapper seems to hint that he thought he would be walking out of the precinct after the confession.

I was surprised, for some reason I didn’t think that he died. When they [police] told me I was like, ‘Oh I’m not going home after this,’” he said.

As if the police would have let him just go on his merry way after confessing to shooting a man three times during a botched robbery.

When the story first broke Dep’s lawyer, Michael Alperstein told the Post the rapper should not be presumed guilty.

My client is presumed innocent, and the case is going to a grand jury,” the lawyer said.

Proving his innocence is going to be almost impossible, he knew details about the crime only the killer would know according to police.

After sitting in jail for several days, maybe the realization that he may never see the free world again is setting in on Dep. But he says he talked things over with his mother and girlfriend before going to the police station.

“I told my mom and my girlfriend that I wanted to confess and they both told me to leave it in the past. My girlfriend is pretty peeved,” the former chart topping rapper admitted. “I thought if I turned myself in it might give me closure, I’m just trying to get right with God. The only thing I regret is that I have to leave my kids.

Dep has three children with Lyvonnia Crawford.

Bottom line is he killed John Henkel on the night of October 19, 1993, now he’ll most likely have to pay for it.

Rapper Black Rob has a new label home. After spending more than a decade with Diddy's Bad Boy Records, the 34 year-old gets a fresh start with Duck Down Records. Rob had a smash hit in 2000 with "Whoa", which appeared on his first solo album 'Life Story.' In 2005, he released a second album, 'The Black Rob Report', but label politics and trouble with the law have slowed his career. Duck Down is most famously known as the home of rapper and co-owner Buckshot, of the group Black Moon as well as Sean Price of Heltah Skeltah. Of late, veteran rappers like B-Real and Pharoahe Monch have signed deals with the label. Black Rob says his upcoming album is a “testimony of what I stand for and how I feel. The people have been asking for true hip hop music, and that’s what I’m giving them. I stayed away from features. I’ve been away for 4 joints, so I feel the people deserve to hear me. When I came home, I went right to work, and didn’t have time to reach out to cats. On my next project you will get that. As for producers, I have some up-and-coming cats on there. I believe in giving cats a chance. As far as named producers you may hear a joint or two from Buckwild, Self Service, Bishop, Scram Jones and Pete Rock.” BR says he picked Duck Down because he "always respected their movement and also been a fan of their music. If I’m going independent why not go with a team I respect, and they have always had a true family setting & environment.” twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump On the evening of Sept. 7, 1996, Mike Tyson, the WBC heavyweight champion, attempted to take Bruce Seldon’s WBA title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. At this point in his career, Tyson’s fights had become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon, where the ever present hype of the professional boxing scene would come face to face with the worlds of big business, Hollywood, and hip hop. Sitting ringside was controversial rapper Tupac Shakur. Shakur and Tyson were friends, a feeling of kinship linked them as each rose to stardom from poverty only to be thrown in prison. Following Tyson’s victory, Shakur and “Iron Mike” were to celebrate at an after party, but the rap star never arrived. Shakur was brutally gunned down later that night, and the scene in Las Vegas quickly turned from would-be celebratory revelry to ill fated and inopportune tragedy. Director Reggie Bythewood, with the full cooperation of Mike Tyson, will tell not only the story of that infamous night but of the remarkable friendship between Tyson and Tupac ESPN twitter-5d.gif

While the police have seemingly given up on solving the murder of rapper/actor/poet, Tupac Shakur, fans and certain members of the media continue to look for clues. Tupac died September 13, 1996 in Las Vegas at the age of 25 from gunshot wounds sustained six days earlier. That is pretty much the only thing everyone can agree on. A new movie coming out about the man who has had more albums released since his death (8), than when he was alive (6) will focus on his last day of life, with flashbacks to the final four years leading up to it. Trying to shed light on why he was killed. Stephen J. Rivele is one of two screenwriters hired to write the film. He spoke to Vulture about the direction the project would be taking. "This is the story of an artist whose character is at odds with his medium. He was a really sensitive, very romantic, talented young poet who also could sing, dance, and act. But the realities [of the hip-hop record business] were that he had to create this persona of the gangster," Rivele says. "He was obviously very angry, and had been subjected to a great deal of violence at home, in the streets and in prison. But he was just beginning to shed that anger and look for a purer voice...He was in the process of changing himself, and entering a new phase of his life — essentially a Romantic vision — and had set up a new label, and a new production company to create it. He saw the contradiction between the musical persona of 'Thug Life,' and his essential nature as a gentle, sensitive person. And that was partly responsible for his murder: He was not a gangster, but the people around him were. They saw he was going to leave, that they were going to lose him, and so I think they decided to kill him." The movie is expected to begin production in November, and will be directed by Antoine Fuqua, who also directed 'Training Day.' twitter-5d.gif
