SAGAMIHARA, Japan (AP) — A young Japanese man went on a stabbing rampage Tuesday at a facility for the mentally disabled where he had been fired, officials said, killing 19 people months after he gave a letter to Parliament outlining the bloody plan and saying all disabled people should be put to death.

When he was done, Kanagawa prefectural authorities said, 26-year-old Satoshi Uematsu had left dead or injured nearly a third of the almost 150 patients at the facility in a matter of 40 minutes in the early Tuesday attack. It is Japan's deadliest mass killing in decades. The fire department said 25 were wounded, 20 of them seriously.

Security camera footage played on TV news programs showed a man driving up in a black car and carrying several knives to the Tsukui Yamayuri-en facility in Sagamihara, 50 kilometers (30 miles) west of Tokyo. The man broke in by shattering a window at 2:10 a.m., according to a prefectural health official, and then set about slashing the patients' throats.

Sagamihara fire department official Kunio Takano said the attacker killed 10 women and nine men. The youngest was 19, the oldest 70.

Details of the attack, including whether the victims were asleep or otherwise helpless, were not immediately known. Kanagawa prefecture welfare division official Tatsuhisa Hirosue said many details weren't clear because those who might know were still being questioned by police.

The suspect calmly turned himself in about two hours after the attack, police said.

Uematsu had worked at Tsukui Yamayuri-en, which means mountain lily garden, from 2012 until February, when he was let go. He knew the staffing would be down to just a handful in the wee hours of the morning, Japanese media reports said.

The facility employs more than 200 people, including part-timers, with nine of them working the night of the attack, Hirosue said. All those killed were patients.

"They were working at night and got questioned by police after witnessing graphic violence, making them a little emotionally unstable now," he said.

Not much is known yet about his background, but Uematsu once dreamed of becoming a teacher. In two group photos posted on his Facebook, he looks happy, smiling widely with other young men.

"It was so much fun today. Thank you, all. Now I am 23, but please be friends forever," a 2013 post says.

But somewhere along the way, things went terribly awry.

In February, Uematsu tried to hand deliver a letter to Parliament's lower house speaker that revealed his dark turmoil. It demanded that all disabled people be put to death through "a world that allows for mercy killing," Kyodo news agency and TBS TV reported. The Parliament office also confirmed the letter.

Uematsu boasted in the letter that he had the ability to kill 470 disabled people in what he called was "a revolution," and outlined an attack on two facilities, after which he said he will turn himself in. He also asked he be judged innocent on grounds of insanity, be given 500 million yen ($5 million) in aid and plastic surgery so he could lead a normal life afterward.

"My reasoning is that I may be able to revitalize the world economy and I thought it may be possible to prevent World War III," the letter says.

The letter was delivered before Uematsu's last day of work at the facility, but it was unclear whether the letter played a role in his firing, or even if his superiors had known about it.

The letter included Uematsu's name, address and telephone number, and reports of his threats were relayed to local police where Uematsu lived, Kyodo said.

Kanagawa Gov. Yuji Kuroiwa apologized for having failed to act on the warning signs.

Some people in the area said they were shocked that Uematsu is accused, and described him as polite and upstanding.

Akihiro Hasegawa, who lived next door to Uematsu, said he heard Uematsu had gotten in trouble with the facility, initially over sporting a tattoo, often frowned upon in mainstream Japanese society because of its association with criminal groups.

"He was just an ordinary young fellow," he said.

?m=02&d=20160726&t=2&i=1147008528&w=&fh=&fw=&ll=644&pl=429&sq=&r=LYNXNPEC6P00Z

Yasuyuki Deguchi, a criminologist, said Uematsu's alleged actions were typical of someone who bears a grudge and seeks revenge, because it appeared he planned out the attack, and then he turned himself in to police.

"Accomplishing his goal was all he wanted," Deguchi said on TV Asahi.

Michael Gillan Peckitt, a lecturer in clinical philosophy at Osaka University in central Japan, and an expert on disabled people's issues in Japan, said the attack speaks more about Uematsu than the treatment of the disabled in Japan.

"It highlights the need for an early-intervention system in the Japanese mental health system. Someone doesn't get to that state without some symptoms of mental illness," he said.

?m=02&d=20160726&t=2&i=1147068519&w=&fh=&fw=&ll=644&pl=429&sq=&r=LYNXNPEC6P0NF

Mass killings are rare in Japan. Because of the country's extremely strict gun-control laws, any attacker usually resorts to stabbings. In 2008, seven people were killed by a man who slammed a truck into a crowd of people in central Tokyo's Akihabara electronics district and then stabbed passers-by.

In 2001, a man killed eight children and injured 13 others in a knife attack at an elementary school in the city of Osaka. The incident shocked Japan and led to increased security at schools.

This month, a man stabbed four people at a library in northeastern Japan, allegedly over their mishandling of his questions. No one was killed.

Akron, Ohio police are searching for a serial offender. No, he hasn't actually harmed anyone, but he's left a stinking mess all over the city.

The Akron News reports that an unidentified man has been shitting in and on cars for the last three years. Cops may be closing in on him though after his face was caught in the act as he took a dump on a vehicle.

"I know quite a few people who have had their children's toys and their cars defecated on," Tricia Norasaeng, who runs the Castle Homes Facebook page, "Yeah, it's a problem, it's been going on for a while now, so I'm glad someone finally got a picture of it. I don't think a lot of people knew it was happening to other people. When you come outside when you have poop on your slide, or poop on your car, I don't think a lot of people thought to call police."

12351448467?profile=original

Akron police Lt. Rick Edwards says the poop offender began his reign of smelly terror in the Castle Homes area starting in 2012. He's determined to put a stop to it.

"The reason that we want to put it out there and identify who this person is," Lt. Edwards says, "is either (to) charge them in these incidents, or find out if they do have mental health issues and get them the proper treatment, so this behavior doesn't continue."

If caught the man will be charged with criminal mischief and other crimes.

12-Year old girls Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier have been charged with attempted murder after they allegedly stabbed another 12-year-old 19 times to please Slenderman

Video After The Jump

(CNN) -- They thought they had something to prove to someone they found on a ghoulish website, police say. So, two girls lured a third girl into a wooded area in Waukesha, Wisconsin, over the weekend and stabbed her 19 times, according to authorities.

The suspects allegedly left the victim to crawl to her own rescue. The three girls, all 12 years old, were friends.

A bicyclist found the wounded girl alive Saturday, lying on a sidewalk in Waukesha, Police Chief Russell Jack said. She was in stable condition at a hospital Monday.

12350871679?profile=original

The girls were trying to impress a certain "Slenderman," according to a criminal complaint. One of the girls encountered the name on a website known as Creepypasta Wiki.

12350872268?profile=original

Slenderman

Slenderman is a fictional character and Internet meme that often appears in horror stories, videos and images. One of the suspects told police that Slenderman is the site's supposed leader, and to climb into his realm, a user must kill someone.

On Tuesday morning, a lengthy statement was posted on www.creepypasta.com.

The statement expressed condolences for everyone involved and stressed that the site does not condone or encourage violence in any way. But it also noted that "it's hard to justify pinning blame on an entire genre of writing."

Creepypasta is a play on the term "copypasta," which is derived from the keyboard action "copy-paste." Creepypasta is horror fiction written with the Web in mind and, often, comes in a style that makes it look like a news or true crime story.

Numerous plans of attack

Two girls, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, were arrested hours after the victim was discovered Saturday, the complaint says. They were being held on preliminary charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

Morgan Geyser

Geyser and Weier are being charged as adults and appeared in court Monday. Bail was set for each in the amount of $500,000, Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel said.

Anthony Cotton, Geyser's attorney, told CNN on Tuesday that he's spoken briefly with her. She is housed at a juvenile facility for females, he said, and the girl's family is in "shock."

12350873071?profile=original

Anissa Weier

Geyser has not had a mental evaluation yet, but her lawyer expects her to be given one soon.

Attempts to contact an attorney for Weier were unsuccessful Monday and Tuesday.

The suspects attended the same middle school as the victim and had a sleepover at the home of one of the suspects Friday night, Jack said.

"Both suspects had a fascination with a fictitious character that often posted" to websites dealing with stories about death and horror, the police chief told reporters at a news conference.

According to the criminal complaint, the suspects had been planning the attack since February.

They first thought to kill the victim by placing duct tape over her mouth while she was sleeping and stabbing her in the neck, the complaint says.

Next, the plan was to kill her in a park bathroom where there was a floor drain that could make cleanup easier, it continued.

But, finally, the girls decided to carry out the attack in the park while playing a game of hide-and-seek, the complaint says.

It states: "As they left for the park ... (the victim) was walking in front of them and Geyser lifted up the left side of her white jacket and displayed the knife tucked in her waistband. Weier stated she gave Geyser a look with wide eyes and, when asked what that meant Weier stated, 'I thought, dear god, this was really happening.' "

When can kids understand reality vs. fantasy?

'One millimeter away' from death

The victim was stabbed near her heart, and she was "one millimeter away from certain death," the complaint says.

When the bicyclist found her, the girl pleaded, "Please help me. I've been stabbed."

She was in extreme pain and could only answer yes or no questions, the complaint says.

Authorities searched for the two other girls, and a sheriff's officer found them walking near Interstate 94, Jack said.

He declined to say whether the suspects had blood on their clothes, but added: "There was evidence that was readily apparent when the two were taken into custody."

That evidence included a large kitchen knife inside a purse that Geyser identified as one of her mother's old purses, according to the complaint.

Mary Ellen O'Toole, a former FBI profiler, described the case as "very unusual -- not just because is involves young females," she said, "but the brutality of it."

The moderator for Creepypasta.com issues statement on the stabbings.

12350873272?profile=original

I’ve recently been alerted to the horrific events that took place in Wisconsin.

I’ve received both messages of concern and blame, and while it seems that the Creepypasta Wiki is bearing the brunt of media attention and finger-pointing, I feel it’s necessary for me to make a statement.

First and most importantly, my condolences go out to all the families involved. I cannot even imagine how painful and confusing and awful this has to be for them. I don’t have children, but I can imagine how my mother would feel if something like this happened to me, and it absolutely breaks my heart to even consider her having to go through that. The families of the young ladies who committed this crime also have my heart going out to them – I know this can’t be easy for them as well, and I’m sure they’ll have to deal with mistargeted backlash and anger even while they try to get through such a trying time themselves. So when I say that I extend my deepest sympathies and my prayers to those affected, I hope that you understand that I mean it. I know that words can seem hollow or come off as mere lip-service to the cynical, but it’s the truth.

Of course, the next thing I want to talk about is this site and the creepypasta phenomenon at large as I’m sure that many people are here because they want to know precisely what is being blamed for this event.

Creepypasta comes from the word copypasta, which itself is a play on the “copy and paste” function. They were short, creepy stories that people spread around the internet for fun. This website is one of the many Creepypasta communities that accept submissions; people write their paranormal stories, I read them and decide which ones I personally like enough to post, and visitors read them and post comments – usually from the perspective of how the author can improve as a writer. I think that, more than other Creepypasta websites, we focus more on being a writer’s community. We have a spin-off site dedicated to getting feedback (don’t use so many ellipses, please don’t write romance stories about serial killers, please remember to proofread – that sort of thing) for authors who ask for blunt community critique and I try to do community promos for writers who self-publish or work on other projects like movies, anthologies, comics, and so on.

Creepypasta is not solely dedicated to horror and murder or revenge fantasies, despite what some media outlets claim. They come up, of course – but so do ghosts, zombies, angels, mythology, urban legends, conspiracies, lost civilizations, aliens and sci-fi, vengeful deities, as well as real-world struggles, sorrows, and dangers. It’s a wide umbrella of inspiration, to be sure, but I’m sure that anyone who has ever browsed the horror or paranormal or sci-fi sections of a library or bookstore has noticed just how vast the possibilities are within those genres.

I think that most of you will understand when I say it’s hard to justify pinning blame on an entire genre of writing. Unless you’re okay with blaming the world’s ills on Stephen King or H.P. Lovecraft, I don’t believe that it makes sense to say paranormal writing or an interest in the macabre should be blamed or even used as an indicator of a “sick” person (as a few emails have already felt the need to call both myself and all the authors here). The human race has long held and encouraged a fascination with things that go bump in the night.

So while I understand and accept that some people will blame us as a way to channel their anger and grief, I simply cannot agree. While I cannot speak for the owners and operators of the hundreds of wikis, websites, and YouTube channels that exist in the Creepypasta fandom, I believe that the community members here are aware that as the admin of this specific website, I truly care about the people who visit this website. It’s for that reason that I’ve tried to take steps to keep this from becoming a mere shock site and turn it into a place where we could foster the interest of reading and writing. Obviously, we cater to people who find interest in the paranormal and all the weird and creepy things that exist in the universe, but I believe placing blame solely on an interest in reading/writing about horror, paranormal, myths, urban legends, etc for a tragedy would be off the mark. Hundreds of thousands of people read scary stories, play horror video games, watch TV shows about ghost-hunting and all other varieties of the macabre and creepy (Hannibal and Dexter come to mind as recent wildly-popular shows that one could argue romanticized killing far more than this site ever could) and if we could truly blame any violent crimes solely on one specific form of entertainment as the trigger – well, I suppose it would be a relief as we’d be able to expunge said cause and clear the world of such awful happenings.

However, the fact of the matter is it can’t be that simple. Most people don’t watch Hannibal and turn into serial killers. The popularity of the Paranormal Activity franchise did not cause a spike in violent crimes. I play Skyrim as a pickpocketing rogue, but I’ve never so much as stolen a pack of gum, nor have I murdered anyone. You can insert countless examples here of people enjoying popular culture without acting it out in real life, so I hope that you see my point.

This isn’t to say that I believe that anything goes with regards to entertainment. I’ve mentioned it quite often in the comments here, as well as in the FAQ and on our writing review sister site, but I do draw the line with what I’m willing to accept and post as entertainment on my website. I’ve tried to contact writers who sent in things that troubled me – particularly teens who were clearly writing out their own unhealthy, violent revenge fantasies – and tried to direct them to websites or hotlines where they could find someone to talk to if they were having trouble. For the sake of both my own sanity and that of my readers, I have policies about flat-out rejecting things that I believed glorified abuse or suicide. I know that we live in a culture where, for example, sexual violence is considered so entertaining that one of the top-rate TV shows is entirely dedicated to a new assault every week (Law & Order SVU) and I believe it would be dishonest to say that things like that don’t contribute to people becoming desensitized. We recently had a conversation in the comments about “fridging” women in stories – the tendency for authors to violently kill off a woman in order to give a male character a backstory or motivation – and I absolutely believe that such a phenomenon, for example, does betray the internalized misogyny that tends to be prevalent in entertainment. I know that I’ve derailed a bit, but I suppose my point here is that I do believe any entertainment creators do have a responsibility to look at their work and decide what attitudes they’re normalizing or even promoting. So please don’t take what I’m saying here as my dismissing entirely any concerns about the premise of this website!

12350873675?profile=original

Jeff the Killer

In this specific scenario, I’ll be honest: I have tried to keep Slenderman stories limited here. I’m aware that he and Jeff the Killer have become absurdly popular recently, with fans expanding upon their origins (in Slenderman’s case, he was created on the SomethingAwful web forums many years ago in an attempt to cooperatively create new folklore – an experiment that has apparently been quite successful). Stories about Slenderman and his proxies are not the central focus of this website. I am not intimately familiar with all the various additions and expansions to his “legend” that have cropped up all over the internet – to be frank, I did not find him particularly interesting and as such I’m really not going to be very helpful with explaining the details of his popularity and stories to all the people who most certainly have questions. I know that might seem ridiculous given that I run a website dedicated to a meme that’s become – for some – synonymous with Slenderman, but it’s the truth. I’ve been trying to encourage writers here to break out from the serial killers and Slenderman cliches that tend to overrun the Creepypasta fandom, though my motivation was less that I believed Slenderman was harmful (the Jeff the Killer fangirls and spin-offs, I did find somewhat troubling – I’ve mentioned before that I feel romanticizing serial killers is not really something I feel comfortable with promoting via publishing all the Jeff love stories and self-inserts that people tried to submit; the only Jeff spin-off I did let through was one that I felt had a decidedly non-romantic view) but more because I view this website as a place for people to become better writers and readers. You can visit the post where I talked about wanting to start an ‘inspiration’ book club to spur originality and creativity in our writers (via reading stories about things like the women who successfully climbed K2 and what that sort of experience both required from them as people as well as giving the readers exposure to the fascinating world of mountaineering), or maybe some of the comments where I’ve scolded kids for not wanting to improve their vocabularies. I’ll admit it: I have an agenda here, and that agenda is to get people to read and write!

But if I may be so bold, I don’t believe that it’s the fault of Slenderman or horror writing in general that this happened. I remember reading scary stories and watching slasher movies when I was a child and young teenager and while they certainly gave me nightmares, they did not instill within me a desire to murder my friends. For someone to make the jump from reading a creepy story that is – at least on this website, once again, I can’t speak for all creepypasta websites – being presented as 100% fiction into actually using it as a motive to plot and murder another human being – something else has to be going on there.

We live in a culture with a very unhealthy relationship with mental illness. People with mental health issues are frequently dismissed (people who deal with anxiety, depression, etc have almost certainly experienced people telling them that their problems don’t exist and that they should “bootstrap” and just “get over it”), shamed and bullied (consider Miley Cyrus’ tweets where she mocked Sinead O’Conner for acknowledging her own struggle with mental illness and asking for help), and often ignored or denied necessary treatment because people either choose to look the other way when they see symptoms or their attempts to help are met with resistance because the sufferer has internalized all the negative cultural messages about having and admitting to mental illness.

Did 'Slenderman' inspire stabbing?

One of the patients has been flown to a hospital in a medical helicopter. Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville has taken five of the other patients.

The severity of the injuries is not known.

Police have one person in custody but have not released that person's name yet.

Several police cars and ambulances are at the high school. Three medical helicopters are also there.

A parent said she was told by a school security employee that middle school students will be dismissed first and bused home. Meanwhile, the high school remains on lockdown until the school can safely dismiss those students.

20 hurt in stabbings at Franklin Regional High School

**UPDATE**

MURRYSVILLE, Pa. (Associated Press) — A 16-year-old boy "was flashing two knives around" when he injured 19 students and a school police officer who eventually subdued him with the help of an assistant principal at a high school near Pittsburgh on Wednesday, a police chief said.

Murrysville police Chief Thomas Seefeld said the bloody crime scene at Franklin Regional High School, some 15 miles east of Pittsburgh, was "vast" and may take a couple days to process.

Police haven't named the suspect, who was taken into custody and driven from the police station in the back of a cruiser for treatment for a minor hand wound.

12350740856?profile=original

Investigators haven't determined a motive, but Seefeld said they're looking into reports of a threatening phone call between the suspect and another student the night before. Seefeld didn't specify whether the suspect reportedly received or made the call.

High School Stabbings

Two student victims were in critical condition, according to Dr. Mark Rubino of Forbes Regional Medical Center, the closest hospital to the school where eight victims were taken.

High School Stabbings

Twelve other victims were taken to four other hospitals affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Two of them, a 17-year-old male and a 14-year-old male, were in critical condition, two other students were in serious condition, and the others were either in fair or better condition or had been released. The school police officer was treated and released for superficial wounds, according to UPMC officials.

Seefeld wouldn't detail the carnage beyond saying, "The juvenile went down the hallway and was flashing two knives around and injured the people."

The chief said someone, possibly a student, pulled a fire alarm after seeing some of the victims being stabbed. Although that created chaos, he said, it also resulted in students running out of the school to safety faster than they might have otherwise.

High School Stabbings

"The fire alarm being pulled probably assisted with the evacuation of the school and that was a good thing that that was done," Seefeld said.

**UPDATE**

MURRYSVILLE, Pa. (Associated Press) — Flailing away with two kitchen knives, a 16-year-old boy with a "blank expression" stabbed and slashed 21 students and a security guard in the crowded halls of his suburban Pittsburgh high school Wednesday before an assistant principal tackled him.

High School Stabbings

At least five students were critically wounded, including a boy whose liver was pierced by a knife thrust that narrowly missed his heart and aorta, doctors said. Others also suffered deep abdominal puncture wounds.

The rampage — which came after decades in which U.S. schools geared much of their emergency planning toward mass shootings, not stabbings — set off a screaming stampede, left blood on the floor and walls, and brought teachers rushing to help the victims.

Police shed little light on the motive.

The suspect, Alex Hribal, was taken into custody and treated for a minor hand wound, then was brought into court in shackles and a hospital gown and charged with four counts of attempted homicide and 21 counts of aggravated assault. He was jailed without bail, and authorities said he would be prosecuted as an adult.

Alex Hribal

His attorney did not immediately respond to a message for comment.

The attack unfolded in the morning just minutes before the start of classes at 1,200-student Franklin Regional High School, in an upper-middle-class area 15 miles east of Pittsburgh. It was over in about five minutes, during which the boy ran wildly down about 200 feet of hallway, slashing away with knives about 8 to 10 inches long, police said.

Nate Moore, 15, said he saw the boy tackle and stab a freshman. He said he going to try to break it up when the boy got up and slashed his face, opening a wound that required 11 stitches.

"It was really fast. It felt like he hit me with a wet rag because I felt the blood splash on my face. It spurted up on my forehead," he said.

The attacker "had the same expression on his face that he has every day, which was the freakiest part," Moore said. "He wasn't saying anything. He didn't have any anger on his face. It was just a blank expression."

Assistant Principal Sam King finally tackled the boy and disarmed him, and a Murrysville police officer who is regularly assigned to the school handcuffed him, police said.

King's son told The Associated Press that his father was treated at a hospital, though authorities have said he did not suffer any knife wounds.

"He says he's OK. He's a tough cookie and sometimes hides things, but I believe he's OK," Zack King said. He added: "I'm proud of him."

In addition to the 22 who were stabbed or slashed, two people suffered other injuries during the melee, authorities said. The security guard, who was wounded after intervening early in the melee, was treated and released.

"There are a number of heroes in this day. Many of them are students," Gov. Tom Corbett said in a visit to the stricken town. "Students who stayed with their friends and didn't leave their friends."

As for what set off the attack, Murrysville Police Chief Thomas Seefeld said investigators were looking into reports of a threatening phone call between the suspect and another student the night before. Seefeld didn't specify whether the suspect received or made the call.

The FBI joined the investigation and went to the boy's house, where authorities said they planned to confiscate and search his computer.

High School Stabbings

"They are a very, very nice family. A great family. We never saw anything out of the ordinary," said John Kukalis, a next-door neighbor for about 13 years.

His wife, Sonya Kukalis, said: "It should be an eye-opener for everybody. Everyone always thinks it's the other neighborhood, the other town. We need to be kinder and show compassion to more people. Something must have been going on for him to do this."

While several bloody stabbing rampages at schools in China have made headlines in the past few years, schools in the U.S. have concentrated their emergency preparations on shooting rampages.

Nevertheless, there have been at least two major stabbing attacks at U.S. schools over the past year, one at a community college in Texas last April that wounded at least 14 people, and another, also in Texas, that killed a 17-year-old student and injured three others at a high school in September.

Mike Kane

On Wednesday, Mia Meixner, 16, said the rampage touched off a "stampede of kids" yelling, "Run! Get out of here! Someone has a knife!"

The boy had a "blank look," she said. "He was just kind of looking like he always does, not smiling, not scowling or frowning."

Meixner and Moore called the attacker a shy boy who largely kept to himself, but they said he was not an outcast and they had no reason to think he might be violent.

"He was never mean to anyone, and I never saw people be mean to him," Meixner said. "I never saw him with a particular group of friends."

Michael Float, 18, said he had just gotten to school when he saw "blood all over the floor" and smeared on the wall near the main entrance. Then he saw a wounded student.

"He had his shirt pulled up and he was screaming, 'Help! Help!'" Float said. "He had a stab wound right at the top right of his stomach, blood pouring down."

Float said he saw a teacher applying pressure to the wound of another student.

About five minutes elapsed between the time the campus police officer summoned help over the radio at 7:13 a.m. and the boy was disarmed, the police chief said.

Someone, possibly a student, pulled a fire alarm during the attack, Seefeld said. Although that created chaos, the police chief said, it emptied out the school more quickly, and "that was a good thing that that was done."

Also, a girl with "an amazing amount of composure" applied pressure to a schoolmate's wounds and probably kept the victim from bleeding to death, said Dr. Mark Rubino at Forbes Regional Medical Center.

Public safety and school officials said an emergency plan worked as well as could be expected. The district conducted an emergency exercise three months ago and a full-scale drill about a year ago.

High School Stabbings

"We haven't lost a life, and I think that's what we have to keep in mind," said county public safety spokesman Dan Stevens.

Is Kanye West's Yeezus tour losing steam? Just four days ago we reported based on an article in Forbes, that West's tour was grossing over $1 million per show. However, not all of the dates are pulling in big crowds.

Case in point, the Kansas City, Missouri stop on Tuesday (December 3). Less than 4500 fans turned out to see the G.O.O.D. Music CEO at the Spirit Center, which seats more than 19,000.people

Bill Brownlee of The Kansas City Star reviewed the show. He believes Kanye's act may be wearing thin with fans.

The most shocking aspect of Kanye West's spectacular concert at the Sprint Center on Tuesday wasn't another suspect remark from the brash rapper. The meager attendance of less than 4,500 seemed inconceivably small for one of the most vital artists in popular music.

West almost certainly could have filled the Sprint Center five years ago. Tuesday's poor attendance indicates how his scandalous love life, frequent impolite pronouncements and his gradual shift away from conventional hip-hop have alienated many of his fans.

We do know that tickets have sold well in a lot of other cities. What do you think was the reason for fans staying away in Kansas City? If you have attended the show tell us about the crowd in your city.

Hong Kong (CNN) -- At least 19 people have been stung to death by hornets -- which may include the world's largest hornet species Vespa mandarinia -- in China's central Shaanxi province in the last three months, according to the city government of Ankang, the apparent epicenter of a recent spate of fatalities and injuries.

A total of 583 people in the area have been stung by hornets since July 1, say city officials. Seventy victims are still recovering in hospitals.

Chen Changlin was hospitalized after being attacked by hornets, while harvesting rice last week.

12350360288?profile=original

"I ran and shouted for help, but the hornets chased me about 200 meters, and stung me for more than 3 minutes," he recounted to the state-run China Youth Daily.

Chen said hornets had first swarmed a woman and child working nearby, who then ran towards him. Both later died from the hornets' toxins.

"The more you run, the more they want to chase you," said another victim, whose kidneys were ravaged by the venom. When he was admitted to the hospital, his urine was the color of soy sauce, according to local reports.

Earlier this month, 30 people -- including 23 primary school children aged between six and eight years -- were injured in a hornet attack in Guangxi province, south of Shaanxi. Their teacher, Li Zhiqiang, told his students to hide under tables as he tried to drive away the insects before he lost consciousness. The school's headmaster told local media that most of the injured suffered stings to their heads, necks, hands and feet.

Nearly 60 students and teachers were injured in a separate incident in the province at the start of the month, according to state media.

Experts say a number of reasons may have contributed to the apparent increase in hornet activity, including the region's recent hot, dry weather, land development and hornet sensitivity to the smell of people.

The Asian killer hornet, which is suspected in these incidents, are formidable, carnivorous killers, according to the non-profitHoneybee Conservancy. The species feed their young with the larvae of other insects and use their talons and mandibles to sever the limbs and heads of their prey. The hornet's venom sting is a neurotoxin so powerful that it dissolves human tissue, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

This week's latest incidents spurred the Ankang city government to hold an emergency video call addressing local concerns. Vice Mayor Lu Qi said he would increase investment in regional hornet control. Mayor Xu Qifang added the city would establish a 24-hour emergency hornet response team.

Rapper's always brag about "keeping it real." One Brooklyn, New rapper named Neno Best, real name Mathew Best, kept it so real he helped the NYPD bring down a ring of gun dealers.

Best posted photos on Instagram of guns and cash. He also made a video on YouTube bragging about "packing more guns than the Air Force."

Best's boasts led to an investigation that led to his arrest along with 18 others. More than 200 guns were seized, including SKS semi-automatic Soviet-era rifles that are capable of shooting through "a project door, through the next door, through a wall, through the next wall into the next apartment" sources told the New York Daily News"That will go through a car, a cop's armor. That will go through anything we've got."

It's the largest gun bust in New York City history.

"Thank God these guns are off the streets," Mayor Bloomberg said at Police Headquarters.

26-year old Best was selling guns out of his studio. The investigation into his activities led to Adeji Omole, who was buying guns from two men in the Carolinas.

Authorities used wiretaps and surveillance to penetrate the ring. One undercover agent was able to purchase many of the weapons over the last year

Earl Campbell, 23, of Rock Hill, S.C. is accused of selling 90 guns, including two assault rifles, for nearly $75,000, during 24 meetings with the undercover officer beginning in October.

Walter Walker, 29, of Sanford, N.C., is accused of selling 116 guns, including five assault weapons and a machine gun, for $82,000 during 19 meetings with the undercover detective over 10 months beginning last September.

Walker and Campbell would bring their weapons to New York on buses to Chinatown. They would then sell them to Adedji, authorities said.

“There is no doubt that the seizure of these guns – the largest bust in the city’s history – has saved lives,’’ Mayor Bloomberg said in a statement. “For that reason, every New Yorker, in every part of our city, owes a debt of thanks to all those involved in this investigation.”

Videos After The Jump

Video footage of a two-year old baby girl being struck by vehicles in two separate hit-and-runs, then ignored by bystanders as she lay critically injured has caused an uproar in China around the world.

Many are calling into question the morality of a society where at least 18 people could either drive or walk by an injured child and not render aid.

The incident happened last week outside of a market in Foshan, a city in China's Guangdong Province.

In the footage captured by CCTV, two-year old Wang Yue is seen wondering aimlessly into the street. Moments later a van hits her, then stops momentarily before the driver continues on. The rear wheels of the vehicle roll over the helpless child.

Several minutes later another vehicle hits the child. Again, the driver doesn't stop to help or even get out of his vehicle.

Finally after at least ten minutes one woman stopped to help.

58-year-old Chen Xianmei was scavenging when she saw the child and pulled her to the side of the road before calling for help.

"Blood was coming out her nose and mouth," Chen told local reporters. "I didn't understand why no one else had carried her from the street."

The young girl's mom shows up to claim her and rushes her to the hospital where she is now listed in critical condition.

"I'm still so worried," the child's father, Wang Chichang told CNN. "I feel helpless and angry. Had one passer-by stopped to help earlier, this whole thing wouldn't have been so tragic."

The father was said to be busy running his hardware shop in the Foshan market, while his wife was hanging laundry. Neither noticed their daughter had wandered off until it was too late.

Police have caught the 2 hit-and-run drivers.

Back in May Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis predicted crime would rise if the NFL lockout didn't end soon.

A lot of people laughed off what Lewis had to say as hype from a player wanting the lockout to end soon, but his words are starting to look prophetic.

Do this research if we don't have a season," he told ESPN. "Watch how much evil, which we call crime, watch how much crime picks up, if you take away our game,"

The Sporting News just published the names of 19 (now 20) NFL players who have been arrested in the 120 days since the owners locked the players out, as they try to hammer out a new collective bargaining agreement.

During the lockout there can't be any contact between the the teams and players. And while no games have been missed yet some players obviously need more structure, even in the off season. Normally teams would have had organized team activities by now. Also players would have been allowed to rehab injuries and workout at team facilities. With those options unavailable players have been left on their own, and some have made bad decisions.

There is some good news on the horizon. The owners and players appear closer than ever to ending the longest ever work stoppage in league history.

The two sides will continue to negotiate a new CBA this week.

Check out the list of NFL players who have been arrested since the lockout began on March 12.

Don't know where this video was found, but it's rare indeed.

We see a young Tupac Shakur in the studio recording an unreleased Digital Underground track.

Next, Pac is on the set of Juice, in a trailer about the size of a bathroom, smoking weed and kicking it with Omar Epps.

Good times indeed...

Video After The Jump The police photos seem to show a small boy being protected by the military – another victim, perhaps, of the savage drugs wars ripping Mexico apart. But the slight, dark-haired teenager chewing his fingernail is not an innocent soul caught up in the crossfire. "I participated in four executions," the 14-year-old assassin calmly told police after his arrest at a Mexican airport, admitting to beheading his victims. "When we don't find the rivals, we kill innocent people, maybe a construction worker or a taxi driver." Known as "El Ponchis" – the cloak – Edgar Jimenez was arrested alongside his 19-year-old sister at an airport near Cuernavaca, 50 miles south of Mexico City in Morelos state.

Edgar Jimenez aka El Ponchis The Cloak The pair were heading to Tijuana, from where they intended to cross into the United States and stay with their mother in San Diego – where he was born. He was caught with two mobile phones that held photographs of tortured victims, and told police that his sister was in charge of disposing of the bodies. With war-weary Mexicans despairing at the endless violence and thinking that nothing new could surprise them, the arrest and confession of "El Ponchis" has still managed to cause shock waves. The teenage hitman had become a national obsession since a YouTube video a month ago showed footage of the youngster, initially believed to be 12 years old. He said on Friday that he was kidnapped at the age of 11 and forced to work for the Cartel of the South Pacific (CPS), a branch of the splintered Beltran Leyva gang, and that he had participated in at least four decapitations.

"Were you scared?" asked a reporter from "No," he replied. "They drugged me and forced me to do it." The pair said that they worked for "El Negro", the leader of the CPS drugs gang, with Jiminez being paid $2,500 for each murder. The sister said that she was the girlfriend of the leader.

Jimenez was caught with his two sisters, Elizabeth (left) and Oliva (right) who were trying to get to San Diego where their mother lives The number of young people aged 18 and under detained for drug-related crimes has climbed steadily since President Felipe Calderón launched his assault on cartels in 2006. Figures from the Attorney General's office show that there were 482 arrests of under 18s in 2006, and 810 in 2009. The tally this year is set to be even higher. Mr Calderón admitted that "in the most violent areas of the country, there is an unending recruitment of young people without hope, without opportunities." The federal government has said the cartels are recruiting ever younger assassins to replace those killed or arrested in the current wars among the gangs and with the government. The government also has said that cartels prefer under age youths because they receive shorter sentences if caught. Neighbours said the siblings were living in a cartel "safe house" in a poor neighbourhood of Jiutepec, a working-class suburb of Cuernavaca, south of Mexico City. The area has an industrial area with Nissan, Unilever and other factories, rustic single-level concrete homes and some farms. Peggy Ostrosky, a psychologist with the University of Mexico, described the teenager as a psychopath. "Some people are born bad, but the point is that the family can form the personality. "In this case there is no mother figure, nor a father, to guide them. There is no one to rescue them because they don't go to school, they have no master or psychologist. "They like to kill, to steal, and they don't need to conform to society because they are mistreated and become very hostile from a young age." The teenager and his sister are currently in custody in Morelos state. The federal governor, who would usually deal with juvenile crimes, has asked the federal authorities to take over the case given its severity. "I know what will happen to me now," El Ponchis said. "I regret getting involved in this and killing people. But when I'm released I want to go straight. I'll work, do anything, as long as it's not a return to this." Source: The Telegraph twitter-5d.gif

This is not the way to get your career as a superstar started.

Yeah, Laurence Fishburne's daughter, Montana did a couple of porn films, big deal. We still love Kim Kardashian after she did hers and tolerate Paris Hilton to an extent, so I'm cutting her some slack on that.

But how in the hell do you leave the club with ashy a** knees? I doubt she went in that way, assuming she has lotion and a mirror at home.

Come on, Chippy D, we're expecting more than this now that you're in the spotlight you so desperately craved.
This kind of hood ratness can't happen if you're going to ascend to the heights of the Kardashians like you say you want to.

There's so many possibilities I could think of on why her knees look like chalkboards, but I think it would be better if yall left your comments on how this could have happened.

Oh and in case you're wondering. The little elf next to her is her boyfriend/pimp, Jeremy Steele aka "J-Pipes".

ATLANTA -- Channel 2 Action News obtained video of a deadly shooting at a south Atlanta hotel on Monday that may show the robber killing himself, according to police.

Detectives told Channel 2’s Ryan Young they are studying the tape and trying to explain the events that unfolded at Travelodge Hotel near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Sunday.

Hotel security cameras show the unidentified robber walk into the hotel office. The man bought a snack out of a vending machine then walked to the counter and pulled a gun on Vrajesh Patel, 19, according to police.

It appears other customers were not aware of the robbery until the gun fired, police told Young.

When the gun went off, Patel was hit in the stomach, but at virtually the same time, a second bullet from the gun hits the robber in the head, according to detectives.

Police told Young their initial belief is the force of the first blast caused the gun to fire a second time, killing the robber instantly.

The surveillance video showed money flying into the air and smoke hovering over the hotel front desk as a customer scrambled for cover. Then Patel manages to climb up to the counter and call 911.

Patel’s family told Young he’s expected to make a full recovery. “We feel very blessed because he is very lucky. If you see the video, it was a very bad shooting,” said Patel’s brother, who did not want to be identified.

Blood was everywhere. I was scared too but more worried about him staying alive. Very devastating experience,” the victim’s brother told Young.

Authorities were still looking for a man believed to be the gunman's accomplice.

No wonder Montana Fishburne looks so comfortable in her new sex tapes. Turns out Laurence's daughter has been working on street corners selling a** since at least last year.

According to a report on E! News, the 19 year old was arrested last year for prostitution and avoided jail time by going into a work-alternative program.

Much has been made about Montana's foray into porn. The initial shock came from the idea that someone like actor Laurence Fishburne's daughter couldn't possibly put out a sex tape, but it appears now that selling sex has been her profession of choice all along.

The report states that on March 19 of last year, Montana was caught on a h** stroll in Hollywood by police. She was charged with solicitation and loitering in a public area for the purpose of prostitution.

Her original sentence was two years probation and 15 days in jail, but the judge allowed her to do community service work instead.

Well, she might as well be the best porn star she can be now that all of this information is coming out. She should start by getting those ghastly pimple scars removed from her butt cheeks, I'm just saying.
