Cash Money Records West Records is now official.
TMZ reports that The Game's manager, Wack 100, pitched the idea to brothers Ronald "Slim" Williams and Bryan "Birdman" Williams, co-owners of Cash Money Records. The pair liked the idea so much they gave it the green light and decided to name Wack Vice President.
The plan is to nurture new West Coast talent in an effort to build a roster of hot artists. CM's parent company Universal Records is backing the venture with $20 million in capital.
According to Wack, Cash Money West will open their offices and studios soon.

Drake's two-track "Scary Hours" single has made an immediate impact on the U.S. charts, following it's January 19th release.
Billboard reports that both songs from it have entered the Billboard Hot 100 top ten. "God's Plan" sits at No. 1 with 82.4 million U.S. streams in the week ending January 25, according to Nielsen Music.
"Diplomatic Immunity" takes a bow at No. 7, having accumulated 28.4 million U.S. streams.
Drake is the first artist to debut two songs in the Hot 100's top 10 simultaneously twice.

Cardi B steps into 2018 the same way she left 2017 ... on fire.
Billboard reports that the 25-year old Bronx, New York native has become the first rapper and third act overall, to place her first three Billboard Hot 100 entries in the chart's top 10 simultaneously.
The Beatles and Ashanti are the only artists to have accomplished the feat prior.
Cardi made history as "Bodak Yellow" reenters the top 10 to join her collaboration with G-Eazy featuring A$AP Rocky titled "No Limit," along with the Migos and Nicki Minaj-assisted "Motorsport."
The former "Love and Hip Hop" star is also celebrating the success of her new single "Bartier Cardi," which debuts at No. 14.

Samuel Benson p.k.a. Blac Youngsta is in police custody in connection with a shooting earlier this year that left Young Dolph's SUV riddled with bullets. More than 100 rounds were fired at the bulletproof vehicle, which was at an intersection in Charlotte.
Dolph, born Adolph Thornton, Jr., was inside the SUV at the time, but escaped injury.
TMZ reports that Youngsta and two other men surrendered to authorities Tuesday, May 16, after warrants were issued for their arrests.
The incident occurred on Saturday. February 25, following Dolph's performance at Cameo Nightclub during the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) basketball tournament weekend.

There's been a lot of talk over the past several weeks regarding late music icons Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.
Funkmaster Flex and Wack 100 have both weighed in with their controversial opinions about 2Pac and the 1994 Quad City Studio shooting, in addition to Big's murder.
Treach, Spice 1 and now Mac Minister have clapped back. Mac made a call from prison to Siccness.net, in which he addresses all of the drama.
"That shit Funk Flex said about 'Pac ain't a real nigga and Suge and Pac came to the East Coast they in their hotel rooms. Let me shut that bitch down," Mac said. "2Pac is a product of his motherfucking mama. She is so real. She birthed that nigga in jail. She was feeding him the knowledge, the wisdom and gave him a certain understanding that other motherfuckers can't understand, 'cause you ain't on that level. The realness that's in him, his mama displayed that.
"Pac walked through a hotel lobby [and saw] two white jumping on a nigga that he didn't even know. [He] opened fire on these white boys. Found out out they was the police. Went to trial [and] beat it."

According to WSOCTV, Dolph, born Adolph Thornton, Jr, was in his bulletproof SUV near the intersection of North Caldwell and 8th Street around 6:30 p.m., when gunmen approached and opened fire.

Aside from Dolph's vehicle, surrounding businesses and cars were also hit by the more than 100 bullets that were fired.
Miraculously, there were no injuries reported. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are investigating.

As most of you know by now a phone conversation between The Game and Beanie Sigel regarding the Meek Mill beef recently leaked.
Some people assumed the Black Wall Street camp recorded the call, but Game's manager, Wack 100, cleared the air via Instagram Wednesday, October 26, placing the blame directly on Beanie's shoulders.
"For the record lets be clear. We don't do police shit over here," Wack wrote. "Beanie Sigel is the one that recorded the conversation. Blood is guilty of that he did that on his call. So you weird ass niggas that keep insinuating it was us eat a dick. Tag Beans to this like you tagging me to the bullshit - Blood know."

The Game's manager Wack 100 has no problem scrapping if the situation calls for it. If you don't believe me, ask Stitches.
He's issued a challenge to Meek Mill and two members of the Dreamchasers, Takbar and Omelly, to put down the weapons and shoot a fair one with him, Game and BWS Byrd.
"Ok here's what we can do since niggas wanna keep woofing . From the gate #Game wanted a head up with #Meek but niggas had a problem with that. Now I see #Tak orchestrating #Beans getting rushed. So to kill it we can all line it up @tak215 me and you can get down @omelly can line it up with my comrade @bwsbyrd and @meekmill can take that fade with @losangelesconfidential," Wack captioned a photo of two fists. "No guns No bullshit just a good old squab and it's done . That way all that's involved can release there angers. We know Meek can't rap and fears the booths battle but we also know that scary nigga hiding behind everybody. So if he's a boss like he said he is he'll come out to play. @tak215 you had a lot to say so I'm at you on this one . It won't be long I'll get it out the way real fast my word .. #Nowwhatwedoing."
Meek has previously said he doesn't fight, but this would be a much better way to squash the beef between the two camps without anyone getting seriously hurt.
