Considered by many the reigning pound-for-pound king in mixed martial arts, UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has been imagined in many fascinating scenarios. Some have envisioned him fighting welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre at a catch weight (Silva himself once suggested the possibility of fighting at welterweight). A permament move up one division to light-heavyweight has also been mentioned, and UFC President Dana White has voiced a belief that he's big enough and talented enough to fight some UFC heavyweights.

Well, put all those dream bookings on hold. The mercurial star now says that he's perfectly content ruling over the 185-pound weight class, and that he plans to stay there for the remainder of his career.

Eschewing possible superfights with the likes of St. Pierre and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, Silva says they'll have to meet him on his own turf to face him.

"If you want to beat me up, make weight and come fight me in my category, my division," Silva said through his manager and interpreter Ed Soares.

Silva is in the midst of a historic run in the sport. At 26-4 overall, he is the holder of 11 straight victories in the octagon, a UFC record. He next defends the championship against No. 1 contender Chael Sonnen at UFC 117 on August 7.

Despite his astounding success, he's faced some backlash from critics who thought several of his recent performances have been uninspired. He was booed soundly at the end of his last fight, a UFC 112 unanimous decision over Demian Maia, in which many people believed he could have finished Maia early on. It's caused many to suggest that Silva is no longer interested in facing middleweights, but he denied that was the case.

"I haven't gotten bored," he said. "I like my sport. I like my weight division that I fight in, and I'm prepared to stay in my weight division."

Moments later, Silva emphasized that not only was he not bored, but that he planned to be at middleweight for a long time to come.

"He said that I didn't translate it exactly. He said he wants to retire fighting in his weight category," Soares said.

As previously reported on PaperChaserDotCom, Laurence Fishburne's daughter, Montana has embarked upon a career in porn.

The 19 year old believes she can achieve mainstream success eventually, by going this unconventional route.

Other Hollywood stars like Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian and most recently Kendra Wilkinson have all had sex tapes leak without it having an adverse affect on their careers.

In fact, you could argue that Paris and Montana's idol, Kim K. are even more famous because of their sex tapes.

So who's to say if this will work for Montana aka "Chippy D".

"I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape by Vivid," Fishburne said in a press release. "I'm hoping the same magic will work for me. I'm impatient about getting well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it."

Vivid Entertainment is the same company that produced the XXX tapes of Kardashian and Wilkinson. They plan on releasing Fishburne's self titled tape August 18.

"Montana made up her mind to make this DVD before we met her," Vivid co-founder/chairman Steven Hirsch said. "She grew up in the entertainment business and was well aware of our company. In looking at the careers of many current leading female personalities, she saw a path to success and hopes to follow it."

Still though, you would think that with a father who has starred in movies like 'The Matrix', 'King Of New York', 'Deep Cover', 'Boyz In Da Hood' and so many other great films, Montana would have been able to get a break in Hollywood without taking off her clothes.

Oh well.......

Aaron Hall hasn't had a hit in a minute, but he's been keeping an eye on the R&B scene and is not that impressed with a few cats.

The former lead singer of the group, Guy goes in on The-Dream, Trey Songz and R. Kelly.

"Dream is a good writer, but he's gotta lose weight, that's A. All that writing and stuff and what you did with your ex-wife [Christina Milian] is wrong, so you aint the king of nothing," he tells CarltonJordon.com. "As far as Trey Songz...I'm glad he's got R. Kelly by the headlock, copying his style, but the king of R&B, nobody can touch my vocals."

People have compared R. Kelly to Aaron Hall for a long time. Their vocals definitely sound very similar. Does Aaron feel like R. Kelly jacked his swag?

"The thing is, when people do it [jack your swag] you don't have to get upset because people stole your style. You should be flattered and happy, because the streets, he can't even be dropped off in the projects. Everybody love me, they know a thief."

Spoken like a real OG in the game.

Aaron has a new album coming out soon titled '64 Classic'

While some artists refuse to accept the changing times and the signs of wrinkles, rap trio Naughty By Nature welcome both with open arms. Treach, Vin Rock and DJ Kay Gee are well-aware of the fact that they are no longer young superstars, but that hasn't stopped their will to succeed.

Since the rap group formed in 1989, they've witnessed many changes in the hip-hop landscape. One of the most astounding advancements being the emergence of social media platforms. "Last year with Facebook and Twitter, we really anchored on to social media as an outlet," Vin Rock reveals. "We've had our first website up since 1996, and we stayed online with this thing the whole time. It's very important to us. Right now, we're getting the most important impact from people globally and a lot of people might not hear our records on the radio a million times a day, but [they] definitely [hear them] online."

Naughty By Nature's work ethic has earned the group the title of hip-hop icons. As 40-something rappers, they feel with age comes experience and a number does nothing to define their creative spirit. As long as there's a warm reception from fans, celebrating another year older is no reason to put down the mic.

"I just think a lot of people are paranoid about age; ageism is big in hip-hop," says Vin Rock. "As artists and business people, you shouldn't be pigeon-holed in any given thing. Look at the growth of Queen Latifah and Will Smith... As artists you can do music, you can do television and film, you can do business ventures like you see Diddy and Jay-Z doing. So for people that get paranoid, some of your hottest rappers today are in the mid-30's when people [used] to say once you're 30 years old you shouldn't be rapping."

Treach also had similar sentiments to share. "Truthfully, some of the artists out there lose their love for it as they get older in the game and they don't have that hunger and that fight [anymore]," he continues. "So they feel like they can't keep up. In my book, it's like this: Keep doing it until you know you're wack. Good music is good music. If you keep throwing it at 'em and keep feeding the people, they gonna appreciate it and respect it."

The manager of a Chicago cell phone store says it was just instinct that prompted him to spring into action and fight off an armed robber Tuesday evening.

"Everything happened fast. I'm still absorbing this," Mostafa Mohammad said more than 24 hours later. "Nothing like this has ever happened to me before."

It was around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday when a man walked into the Cricket Wireless store.

Surveillance video shows the man looking at a wall of phones and then showing a weapon as he moves behind the counter.

"He showed me the gun, and asked me to give him everything in the register," Mohammad recalled.

A few feet away, a woman standing at a register pulls out a phone, and thinking she was calling the police, the robber points the gun at her and in the direction of Mohammad's co-worker and her young daughter.

That's when Mohammed sprang into action, grabbing the gun.

The gun fired and put a hole in the counter.

A bullet grazed his co-worker and narrowly missed the young girl.

"He pointed the gun at them, right in my face, so it was just a split-second decision I made," Mohammad said.

The two men fell to the floor and fought for control of the gun.

Mohammad said the man told him during the struggle that he was going to kill him.

Seconds later, Mohammad got the upper hand.

"I was just trying to keep everybody safe. I didn't want anybody to be hurt," he said.

Despite his best effort to hold the robber, Mohammad said the man ran off seconds later.

"I don't shoot people. I'm not a violent person. Especially considering the way Palestinians are portrayed in the news, I wanted to be an example of non-violence," he said.

Mohammad said he's a former youth organizer who cares about his community and wants to see it improve.

Calumet Area detectives are investigating, but no one is in custody.

The robber made off with $83, a store employee said

PHOENIX - He's been at the center of the discussions and controversies surrounding illegal immigration enforcement in Arizona for quite a while.

On the day parts of Arizona's immigration law, SB 1070, went into effect, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is in the news for another reason: there's a price on his head - allegedly offered by a Mexican drug cartel.

The audio message in Spanish is a bit garbled, but the text is clear.

"It's offering a million dollars for Sheriff Joe Arpaio's head and offering a thousand dollars for anyone who wants to join the Mexican cartel."

A man who wants to remain anonymous says his wife received the text message Tuesday evening. It also included an international phone number and instructions to pass the message along.

"She showed it to me..I was kind of disgusted..I reported it to the Sheriff's department yesterday..they said they were going to direct the threat squad on it."

Lisa Allen of the Sheriff's office says they believe the message originated in Mexico.

Although the Sheriff has received numerous death threats in the past, they believe this threat is credible because of its timing.

"Arpaio gets threats pretty routinely, but obviously with this heightened awareness of his role in the immigration issue we've got to take this one a little bit more seriously with a million dollar contract out on him," said Allen.

But she says what really concerns investigators is how quickly the message may have been spread. "It's going so many different places that our folks are looking at it and thinking well at any given point in time it could land in front of some crazy person who thinks I can do that."

As for Arpaio's reaction to the threat, "It's a little bit like water off a duck's back for him, but you never know if it's that sense of false bravado with him..you just can't read it, I'm sure he's concerned, I'm sure he's concerned for his family more than anything else," said Allen.

The Sheriff's office says investigators are trying to trace exactly where the text message came from, but because it did originate from an international number, that will be difficult too.

The video for Kanye West's new single "Power" premiers next week on MTV. That's if there is a lot of editing done to it first.

Writer Dave Itzkoff of the New York Times, previewed an unedited version of the video and writes there is some R-Rated content in it.

Itzkoff wrote of one scene:

"As Kanye raps, the camera slowly zooms out in one continuous, unedited take to reveal him in a classical structure, surrounded by female attendants partly or entirely nude; some kneel before him on all fours, others wear devil horns and others are suspended upside down from the ceiling. The sword of Damocles hangs over Mr. West’s head, and behind him an unseen executioner is preparing to strike him with a blade."

The video was directed by Marco Brambilla who describes it as "apocalyptic, in a very personal way.” The clip has also been described as "Kanye in an orgy of decadence and destruction."

Sounds interesting to say the least.

After viewing Drake's 'Best I Ever Had' video, no one could deny the rapper had a fondness for females with buxom bosoms. In a recent interview with Canadian reporter Nardwuar, the former 'Degrassi' star further discussed his inclination for women with large breasts as well as being a fan of the well-endowed actress Pam Grier.

In the clip, Nardwuar inquired about a recent show in Cleveland, Ohio, where Drake used a "bra stand." The Toronto native, accompanied by producer and friend 40, let the interviewer in on the special dedication he gave to women during his concerts. "I put like the biggest breast bras on my mic stand," he admitted. "I try to showcase the fact that a full chest is nothing to be ashamed of."

Drake went on to discuss his admiration for the female anatomy. "You shouldn't go get them reduced. Breasts are a beautiful thing." While 40 laughed beside the rapper, the "Find Your Love' performer let loose about a secret possession in his collection. "I actually have an entire trunk, I think there's about 4[00] or 500 bras in this trunk," Drake said. "It's a black trunk and I carry it with me on the road. It's pretty much every bra I've ever received."

During the exchange, Nardwuar presented the Young Money affiliate with a vinyl soundtrack from the blaxploitation film 'Coffy.' Drake, visibly surprised, held the collector's item, decorated with Pam Grier's image, and revealed some shocking information about the popular movie star. "This woman... Oh man, this is gonna sound so weird," he continued, "When I first discovered what masturbation was, I used to jerk-off to Pam Grier. I think Pam Grier is really responsible for shaping my taste in women if you really look at her."

Drake's current fling, Maliah Michelle, shares some of the actress's voluptuous assets.

You can scratch Freddie Gibbs name off out of the skinny jeans, mohawk wearing, making up lies on records mc list.

The Gary, Indiana native and member of 2010 XXL's Freshman Class is here to bring that realness back. He just dropped his banging new mixtape 'Str8 Killa No Filla' this week. And is in full grind mode as he gears up for his album 'The Devil's Palace' which will be produced by The Alchemist.

Gibbs raised a few eyebrows when he recently tweeted, "who are you? Rick Ross, Big Meech or Larry Hoover? the rap game is like halloween every day."

He talked to Complex recently and clarified what he meant.

"That’s real, man. That dude makes good records, but I just can’t support no bold-faced lying on records. I guess he’s entertaining people. It’s like a movie, like Scarface. He can have that fake lane. I’ll stay in the real lane. We got a non-fiction lane of rap, that’s how I’m looking at it now. So you got that fiction lane over there where they’re doing all them. I do the non-fiction, the autobiography, the real shit. It’s all good. Shit like that just make it easier for me to stand out, and easier for me to put my work in to be highly respected. I’ll never ever fabricate nothing or act like I’m something that I’m not or try to be another nigga. I can’t do that. I just think you gotta respect the streets and respect this Midwest culture. I mean you can’t really trip on him yelling names out. This the same dude that told you he knew Noriega when he first came out, so…

Rap’s so fucking watered down right now, you can be a motherfucking C.O., you can kiss a nigga, and as long as you making good music, these niggas don’t give a fuck. With me I’ma make good music, be a man of my word, and live how I’m rapping. It’s a fine line between artistry and authenticity, and I just think that I just combine all of that, and everybody can’t do that. It definitely makes it difficult from a mainstream-radio standpoint, but I can care less. That’s only because these dudes have those machines behind them and those marketing dollars behind them to dress their fake shit up. But I’m not trying to fabricate nothing or dress nothing up to be something that it’s not. I ain’t a nigga with no furs, but I’ve sold a lot of crack. A lot of pills. But I wasn’t that nigga like that. It seem like all these niggas in the rap game trying to tell the boss story when 90% of these niggas was never the boss. I was never no coke boss of my neighborhood. I was a shooter, a corner boy. So that’s the perspective I gotta tell you from. I can’t tell you that perspective with no nigga that live in those million-dollar houses, I ain’t never had that
."

Gibbs is no fan of the most obnoxious DJ ever either. In another Tweet he wrotemuch love to all the real DJs in the game. To all the ones that be tryin to rap and be diddy eat a dick.”

He clarified that statement also:

I mean it was just a general thing. I wasn’t angry at nobody. Specifically I was talking about DJ Khaled, if people wanna know. I don’t like what he’s doing rapping on records and shit like that, but you know, to each his own. I’m not taking away nothing that he did in the game or the success that he’s had, ’cause he’s done his thing and made bread, but I just think that so many niggas are making a mockery of this rap game right now. It’s like, real MCs doing they thang, putting this real shit down, real lyrics, and can’t get breathing room ’cause you got fuck shit like that. I think that shit is garbage. I don’t like what that shit stand for

He got his position, though. DJ Khaled ain’t a rapper. Don’t matter if you nice or not. Play your role, play your position. No way that nigga can be nice, listen to his fucking voice. [Laughs.] He a DJ. He do his thing. Scream on your records. Say “nigga” and all that shit you like to say. I’m surprised motherfuckers ain’t check him for that. Clowns like that in the game I don’t really pay attention to. I respect his success, and the way he did what he did to make his paper, but I don’t respect his art none whatsoever

TMZ has learned Foxy Brown was in the middle of massive brawl lastnight (7/29) in the lobby of a New York City apartment building -- and she narrowly missed her second run-in with cops in just over a week.

Witnesses say Foxy was visiting someone at a luxury high-rise on 43rd Street when the fight broke out. A source tells us that Foxy was throwing down with several people in the lobby. It's unclear at this point what sparked the brawl.

We're told it took more than 10 people to break up the fight, and the NYPD eventually showed up on the scene -- but Foxy fled before the officers arrived. No arrests were made.

According to a source, one of the people Foxy fought with was her manager. When we called her manager she would only say, "No comment."

8 days ago Foxy was arrested in NYC for allegedly mooning a neighbor and violating a protection order. She's been charged with public lewdness, harassment, and criminal contempt in that case.

Actor Laurence Fishburne probably just scratched Kim Kardashian off his Christmas card list.

Citing the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star as her major inspiration, Laurence's 19 year old daughter, Montana Fishburne is releasing a sex tape according to TMZ.

The relatively unknown actress says, "I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape."

Montana has no previous acting credits, her page on the Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB) is blank.

I guess if it worked for Paris Hilton and Kim K, it could work for Montana. I somehow doubt Laurence is happy about this though.

Vivid Entertainment is set to release the tape in August.

Four years after a shooting left an unarmed Sean Bell dead (on the eve of his wedding) and two of his friends wounded following a tragic incident with New York City police, the city has agreed to pay $7 million dollars to settle a federal lawsuit filed by Bell's family and his friends.

According to The New York Times, in the early hours of November 25, 2006, five New York City police officers fired 50 shots into the car Bell — who was to be married that day — was driving outside a club in Queens, New York. The car reportedly struck a detective in the leg and hit a police van before the officers began firing. None of the three men in the car — Bell and his friends Joseph Guzman and Trent Benefield — were armed, although the officers apparently believed at least one was.

In what's seen as the closing chapter in one of the most controversial police shootings in New York City history — three officers were acquitted of manslaughter and reckless-endangerment charges in 2008, a ruling many activists and rappers spoke out against — the families of the victims are looking to move past the tragedy.

As part of the settlement, Bell's two young daughters (whom he had with his fiancée, Nicole Paultre Bell) will receive $3.25 million; Guzman (who was shot 17 times) and Trent Benefield will receive $3 million and $900,000 respectively, according to Times.

Earlier this week, Foxy Brown — a close friend of Bell's fiancée — said Paultre Bell is a strong woman who remained in high spirits throughout the four-year ordeal.

"She just handled everything so gracefully," Brown said. "She just did everything with grace and class."

G-Unit member Tony Yayo, whose G-Unity foundation gave proceeds from a recent event to Bell's family, said the settlement is long overdue.

"I think it's a beautiful thing, but rest in peace to Sean Bell," Yayo said. "I mean, you have times now when a police officer can shoot you in your back, handcuffed on the floor, in a train station in front of everybody and get two years," Yayo said, referring to the Oscar Grant shooting in Oakland, California, in which found a transit officer was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter last month. "So Sean Bell's people deserve that money, definitely, and blessings to them."
