Audio and Poll After The Jump

The Dallas Mavericks were supposed to have a tougher time beating the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals than they did. While the Mavs celebrate, the Heat try to pick up the pieces and figure out what the hell went wrong. A team with Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and Lebron James isn't supposed to go belly up in a best-of-seven series, four games to two. Now the team has to diagnose whatever problems caused them to lose.

With the loss came a long line of Heat critics. The latest one being former NBA player Rick Barry. He spoke with The Rise Guys on KHTK in Sacramento recently and said the Heat should have swept the Mavs and that all of Lebron's coaches should be ashamed for not teaching him proper fundamentals. During the interview Barry also pointed out several holes he sees in Lebron's game.

"His shot, first and foremost, because I think that's where it all comes down to. If you don't have confidence in your shot, it destroys the rest of your game. First of all the opponents can play you in a certain way, then back you out and take the drive away and say 'there' beat them with outside shooting. That's his achilles' heel. Then, little nuances, facing up, learning how to be the guy learning to use your first dribble to go by instead of everything off the dribble...learning how to use screens probably, then of course the coach running more plays for him where he can run off double and triple staggered screens, learning to curl it properly, learning how to do the little things in the game which, unfortunately, have not been taught to him, which I don't blame him for. I blame the people who have coached him over the years. To have a talent like this and to not maximize the full potential of this talent is inexcusable and reprehensible to me and the coaches who have had him should be ashamed of themselves."

Check out the full interview and poll below.

Audio After The Jump

Fans and players aren't the only ones in Miami hurting after the Heat lost in the NBA Finals to the Dallas Mavericks.

At least one host for sports radio station 790 in Miami is bent out shape as well, and he's taking his anger out on Lil Wayne and Birdman.

The host went off on the pair yesterday (June 13), calling them bandwagon jumpers and homosexuals, for partying with Dallas the night they won the trophy. Lil Wayne had been a regular court side at Heat games this season. And Birdman bet $2 million on them to win the championship.

Check out what the host had to say below.

The Miami Heat pulled off a dramatic come from behind win in Chicago last night setting up a showdown against the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.

The series will feature Miami's big three Chris Bosh, Lebron James and Dwayne Wade vs the Mavericks's Dirk Nowitski and a solid supporting cast that includes Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion and Jason Kidd.

Dallas would seem to have the edge in overall team depth, but as we saw during their playoff matchups against the Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls, the Heat don't need much more than their trio of all stars.

Game 1 of the best of 7 series will be in Miami on Tuesday, May 31 at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

So who do you like to win the championship?

Video After The Jump DALLAS — A suburban Dallas man used a razor blade to slit his throat moments after a judge sentenced him to 40 years in prison. Marcial Anguiano of Duncanville left court Tuesday morning on a stretcher with his neck bandaged. The Dallas Morning News reported that Anguiano was talking as he was carried out. Defense attorney Juan Sanchez says he saw his client "do something with his right arm" when state District Judge Larry Mitchell sentenced Anguiano for aggravated assault. Anguiano bled on the railing that separates the courtroom audience from the front of the court and on the first row of benches. No one else was injured. Sanchez said an object was confiscated from his client before the hearing, but that he wasn't sure what it was. Anguiana was sentenced for cutting his niece with a butcher knife. twitter-5d.gif

Singer Erykah Badu has been fined $500 and ordered to serve six months probation for her now infamous video shoot in Dallas' Dealey Plaza for her video "Window Seat" The video shoot shocked many onlookers, because Badu stripped naked in broad daylight as she walked in the same place where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. At the end of the video , Badu falls to the ground as if she had been shot. A mother, whose daughter saw Badu naked filed a complaint in April with the city of Dallas. Police cited the singer with disorderly conduct. The Associated Press reports Badu has already paid the fine. twitter-2a.png

Every NFL rookie has to go through it, unless you're Dez Bryant of the Cowboys, but that's another story. You can't escape getting hazed by the veterans when you're fresh out of college.

Usually rookies get their heads shaved bald, carry the veterans pads after practice or pay for dinners for the team.

The Houston Texans came up with a creative and hilarious way to have Trinton Holiday, the 5'5 150 pound rookie out of LSU get his hazing.

They made him ride around on a pink tricycle.

"I think it was a rookie hazing, just a joke, a way for the guys to get a laugh," Holliday told the Houston Chronicle. "Some guys told me coach (Gary Kubiak) did it, but I'm not 100 percent sure about that."

"You know, it's not my color. After practice, Andre Johnson told me that I was going to have to take a lap on it, so I got on it."

Now that's damn funny right there.
