Multi-talented actor/writer/comedian/rapper/singer Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino was a big winner at the 74th Golden Globe Awards Sunday, January 8.
The television show "Atlanta," which he co-wrote and executive-produced, won the award for Best TV Series Musical or Comedy.
Glover also walked away with the Best Actor in a TV Series Musical or Comedy trophy for his performance as Earnest "Earn" Marks in the show.
While accepting the Best TV Series award, Glover, shouted out the rap group Migos.
"I really wanna that the Migos. Not for being in the show, but for making 'Bad and Boujee.' Like, that's the best song ever," Glover said.
Backstage the "3005" hit maker was asked by a reporter why he included the trio in his acceptance speech.
"I think they're The Beatles of this generation, and they don't get a lot of respect ... I think outside of Atlanta," Glover responded. "Not that they don't get a lot of respect, but there's a generation ... sort of like the YouTube generation, that I kinda came up with. There's a generation of kids that are growing up on something that's completely separate from a whole group of people. And honestly that song's just fly. There's no better song to have sex to."

PARIS (AP) — French police arrested at least 16 people Monday in connection with the October theft of more than $10 million worth of jewelry from Kim Kardashian West, finding weapons and a large amount of cash during multiple raids.
Paris police officials said the arrests took place starting around 6 a.m. in different locations in the Paris region and the south of France. The suspects — aged from 23 to 72 — were already known for prior robberies and other crimes said, according to one of the officials. Multiple firearms, including an automatic pistol, and 140,000 euros ($147,500) in cash were found during the raids, the officials said.
They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not allowed to speak publicly about the continuing investigation.
The suspects can be held for up to 96 hours before police must either charge them or let them go.
Jean Veil, the French lawyer for Kardashian West, said the news of arrests is "a great satisfaction."
"These arrests are a nice surprise because we might be able to find the jewels," he told the French magazine L'Express Monday.
Veil said his client could be interviewed again by investigators and might have to face the suspects.
On Oct. 3, robbers forced their way into the private Paris residence where Kardashian West was staying, tied her up, held her at gunpoint and then locked her in a bathroom before making off with her jewelry. The reality TV star was in Paris attending fashion week shows.
Media reports said police tracked down the suspects through DNA evidence found at the residence. One official, also speaking on condition of anonymity, said many were already known for robbery and other crimes.
Earlier this month, the starlet broke her silence on the robbery in a teaser for the family's reality show, telling two of her sisters her thoughts at the time: "They're going to shoot me in the back. There's no way out."
Police said the thieves stole a jewelry box containing valuables worth 6 million euros ($6.7 million) as well as a ring worth 4 million euros ($4.5 million).
Paris police and prosecutor's office previously said five people directly took part in the robbery, including two who forced their way into the apartment.
Police analyzed footage from surveillance cameras to try to identify the assailants, who wore fake police emblems on their jackets.
At the time, a spokeswoman for Kardashian West said she was badly shaken but physically unharmed. The robbery raised new concerns about security in the French capital after a string of deadly extremist attacks.
Kardashian West has the habit of showing her jewels and whereabouts in her social media, including days before the robbery when she posted pictures of herself attending fashion week shows.
Paris has been a special place for Kardashian West and her husband, who spent the weekend there before marrying in Florence in May 2014.

The seemingly never ending feud between Birdman/Cash Money Records and Lil Wayne has held up the release of Weezy's album, "Tha Carter V" for three years.
Earlier this week Baby gave fans a reason for hope when he said the album will finally see the light of day.
“It’s definitely coming out,” he announced on Travis Scott’s Beats 1 radio show. “The situation with me and my son, I’m going to put it all behind us and just let it move forward. Wayne is one of the best artists ever to do the game, and I want to see him continue to do what he been doing, and I’m going to support whatever he’s doing."
Wayne must not have gotten the memo because he has the album's masters and says it's not coming out until the $51 million lawsuit against his label is settled, according to TMZ.
The "A Milli" hit maker believes Birdman is just trying to "look like the nice guy" by dangling a carrot in front of fans.
However, TMZ reports that a resolution could come soon because Stunna met with Cash Money's distributor, Universal Records, last week in an attempt to work out a deal that would financially satisfy Wayne.

Esteban Santiago identified as Ft. Lauderdale airport gunman

(Reuters) A gunman believed to be an Iraq war veteran opened fire at a baggage carousel at Fort Lauderdale's international airport on Friday, killing five people before being taken into custody, officials and witnesses said.
Five people died and eight were wounded, Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel told reporters at the airport, where air traffic was shut down.
The gunman had arrived on a flight with a checked gun in his bag, Broward County Commissioner Chip LaMarca said on Twitter. The shooter claimed his bag and went to the bathroom to load the gun before coming out and firing, LaMarca said.
Cellphone video posted on social media showed victims on the floor next to a carousel, with people on their knees attempting to provide aid. At least two victims had pools of blood from apparent head wounds.
The shooter was unharmed as law enforcement officers never fired a shot, Israel said, adding it was too early to assign a motive.
"At this point, it looks like he acted alone," Israel said.
Nonetheless, he said "this scene is considered fluid and active" as police searched the airport.

The shooter was identified as Esteban Santiago, 26, and had a U.S. military identification, according to a spokesman for U.S. Senator Bill Nelson of Florida, who spoke with officials at the Transportation Security Administration.

A 26-year-old by the name of Esteban Santiago was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard last year and served in Iraq, a U.S. official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The shooter, who wore a "Star Wars" T-shirt, said nothing as he fired, witnesses told MSNBC. He appeared to use a 9 mm handgun, which he tossed aside upon running out of ammunition, surrendering to police, MSNBC reported.
The attack was the latest in a series of mass shootings that have plagued the United States in recent years, some inspired by militants with an extreme view of Islam, others carried out by loners or the mentally disturbed who have easy access to weapons under U.S. gun laws.
About 90 minutes after the attack, panic broke out anew with passengers and police running frantically about at a separate terminal, but Israel said there were no other reports of shots being fired.
John Schlicher, who told MSNBC he saw the attack, described the shooter as a slender man who was "directly firing at us" while passengers waited for their bags.
"I put my head down and prayed," Schlicher said, adding that his wife gave first aid to someone who had been shot in the head. His mother-in-law used her sweater to tend to another victim but it turned out that person was already dead, he said.
Mark Lea, another eyewitness, told MSNBC "there was no rhyme or reason to it."
"He didn't say anything, he was quiet the whole time, he didn't yell anything," Lea said.
Security officials corralled dozens of passengers in several groups.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is the second largest in South Florida, serving as an intercontinental gateway, with Miami International Airport known as the primary airport for international flights in the area.
HISTORY OF SHOOTINGS
Nearly two months ago a former Southwest Airlines worker killed an employee of the company at Oklahoma City's airport in what police called a premeditated act.
The deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history took place last June, when a gunman apparently inspired by Islamic State killed 49 people and wounded 53 at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
One of the most shocking was in 2012, when a man entered an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, and shot dead 20 first-graders and six adults.
Attackers have exploited security officials' focus on preventing attacks on airplanes rather than inside airports. In Western Europe and the United States, terminals are easily accessible public spaces.
But at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, widely seen as a model for security, private companies trained by the national security agency use bomb-detectors, profile passengers and question travelers under the watch of police at the airport's entrance.

Atlanta rapper 21 Savage and his Baton Rouge nemesis, 22 Savage, might have a way to settle their differences without anyone getting seriously hurt.
50 Cent just announced that he and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are working on adding a boxing match between the two to an event that will also see Chris Brown and Soulja Boy scrap for three rounds.
"I just got off the phone with champ. So, I'ma give y'all an update," 50 says in a video uploaded to his Instagram account Friday, January 6. "We got a whole card now. We only had one fight. We had Chris Brown and Soulja Boy. Now we're trying to put together 21 Savage and 22 Savage. They gon' fight for the name. And then we're only gonna have one Savage."
This beef was sparked when 22 Savage, who is also a comedian, thought it would be funny to copy 21's name.
Initially, 21 ignored the situation, but as 22 started to get serious about the rap game and gained some notoriety, things escalated into genuine animosity between the two.
Kenyon Martin
Another fight being added to the card will pit Tim Thomas against Kenyon Martin. The friction between those two dates back to their playing days in the NBA, and an altercation that took place at a Dallas club in 2004.
Tim Thomas
In May of 2016 Thomas told CBS Radio that he would like to box Martin for charity. His wish has been granted.
