This battle of the producers tape is a must for real hip hop heads!
Two monster producers collide on this Godzilla vs King Kong themed collaborative beat tape project.
Queenz, NY producer 'Adwerdz' and High Point, NC producer 'DinoTheDonDaDa' face off to create 5 vs 5 hard-hitting beats to outmatch their opponent. Both producers had to choose and flip underrated East Coast hip hop classics and make it into their own style. True connoisseurs of the culture may catch reference of the instrumentals inspired by legendary producers such as The Alchemist, The Heatmakerz, Roc Marciano, and many others. The competitive spirit mixed with the nostalgic celebration of underground hits makes this beat tape experience truly one of a kind. With that said, THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE WINNER!
"Dino Vs Adwerdz" is available on all streaming platforms.

This song was intended to reunite the whole Slum Village group (T3, J Dilla, Baatin and added Elzhi), therefore the track was titled “Reunion”. Baatin had an encounter with a mental illness and that is why he is not on the track. Elzhi’s verse explains his “unlawful demons” and refers to his schizophrenia.
R.I.P. J. Dilla and Baatin
Produced by Black Milk
This is off of Slum Village's 2004 album, "Detroit Deli (A Taste of Detroit)."

[Intro: AZ] Yeah This is it right here This defines me Turn my mic up Let's do it, let's do it
[Verse 1: AZ] Spirit of Marcus Garvey Farad Muhammad, Medgar Evars and Bob Marley, I'm God-Body The scripture says Allah's inside me Show love, I was hugged by the arms of Gandhi Gave me my strength You could tell somebody raised me with sense We all need somethin' to help us through our daily events Bear with me; the toughest niggas tear quickly No lie, pops still cry and he near fifty Freedom or death, I give niggas a reason to sweat, there's no test Verbally it's like I'm seen as the best, who wanna try me?
[Sample Hook] Yeahhhhhhh, yeah-e-yeah I'm back!
[Verse 2: AZ] Sent to express grace Separate the weaker niggas is the less weight Fuck how y'all feel, y'all cowards now fuckin' with real I return like McGrady got caught with a pill, let's get it poppin' I move like a nigga coppin' I know the stress from the streets when I was diddy-boppin' Playin' the corners, face-to-face with the faces of mourners It's hard to trace the informers until it's too late Jake rest on my corners The focus is back, I play a part in this culture of rap Bought some whips so I relate on how these vultures attack Flippin' and runnin', double-park, rippin' up summons How many niggas hittin' twin sisters and flippin' they cousins? Call it finesse, the game — give it all I posses Nothin' changed, I'mma ball to the death
[Sample Hook (El Shaber)] Yeahhhhhhh (Right) Yeah-e-yeah (Show these cats how we do this here, nigga) I'm back!
[Verse 3: El Shaber] I'm like a, rose in the desert but how can one grow without rain? How can one experience happiness without pain? And how could I fall to the violence of hell and still remain sane? And how could I still remain on top of my game? When both the black and the white devils seek the power to rebel Seek to defy my radiance, I shift gears to another level I'm focused, but it's like I'm playin a cold hand of spades I got a lot of hearts, but these fools tryin to cut me and I'm tired of these jokers Vengeance is mine, I plague the whole planet with locusts I survived the mayhem, my advantage I've been the brokest I wasn't drugged and inhaled by all the smokers Then I became the love absorbed by all the cultures I can't trust women because my heart was scorned It's hard to trust yo' comrades, when yo' heart was torn One-nine-seven-oh the God was born

Rochester NY’s man-of-many-beats Kidd Called Quest has just dropped a new EP for digital purchase. "BxRocstrumentals" is eight instrumental tracks of soulful, drum-laden boom-bap soundscapes. This is the instrumental version of his 2019 collaborative release "BXROC" with Bronx wordsmith @official_g.fisher G Fisher.
However with a slight sonic variation, the original album was mixed by Parks (of Joe Budden podcast fame), however the "BxRocstrumentals" were actually remixed by Kidd frequent collaborator Midnite Beatz @MidniteBeatz (38Spesh, Kool G Rap).
