Takeoff, Offset and Quavo have been grinding heavy since 2010, but it wasn't until the trio known as Migos released the single "Bad and Boujee" off of their 2017 sophomore album, "Culture," did they become household names.

The group has landed on the cover of Billboard's latest issue. They talk with writer Chris Martins about where they came from, where they are now and where they are headed.
On the Grammy Awards:
“We’ll be there next year,” Quavo said. "Then Kanye going to come on down because they finally acknowledged [young black artists].”
On missing the woman who raised them:
“I just wish she was here so I could ball with grandma. She’d talk with you, pray with you, give you pocket money. I used to sneak it right back in her bank,” Offset recalls. “When she was sick, before she passed, I swear she told us, ‘Stay off the streets. Y’all going to make it. Stick together.’”
On their recent success:
“I try not to be cocky,” says Takeoff, “but hey, we the shit, man. The No. 1 record and album. I mean, you look at that chart, it’s big names up there.”
