Actress & former Fox News pundit Stacey Dash is falling on her sword by denouncing Donald Trump & distancing herself from the conservative network.
During an interview with DailyMailTV on Wednesday, Dash claimed the right-wing focused outlet casted her as an “angry Black woman.”
“There are things that I am sorry for. Things that I did say, that I should not have said them the way I said them. They were very arrogant & prideful & angry. And that’s who Stacey was, but that’s not who Stacey is now. Stacey’s someone who has compassion, empathy.”

A judge on Thursday granted prosecutors' request to add a third-degree murder charge against the former Minneapolis police officer charged in the death of George Floyd.
Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill reinstated the third-degree murder charge against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin a day after the Minnesota Supreme Court rejected Chauvin's effort to block the charge. Cahill had earlier rejected the charge as not warranted by the circumstances of Floyd’s death, but an appellate court ruling in an unrelated case established new grounds for it.
Chauvin was already charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter.
Legal experts say the additional charge helps prosecutors by giving jurors one more option to convict Chauvin.
Potential jurors returned Thursday to continue the selection process that began Tuesday. After three jurors were seated Tuesday, two others were seated Wednesday, leaving nine seats left to be filled.

NEW YORK - The Department of Correction is scrambling to find a murder suspect mistakenly released from Rikers Island Jail.
Christopher Buggs, 26, of Brooklyn was released at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. Buggs had been held at Rikers without bail for more than three years while awaiting trial.
According to the NY Daily News, Buggs was erroneously released after a judge sentenced him Monday to time served in a separate misdemeanor contempt case. The sentence was mistakenly listed as the final disposition of his murder case. Staffers at Rikers didn't realize the mistake.
Buggs was arrested in 2018 for the murder of Ernest Brownlee, 55, outside a Bedford-Stuyvesant bodega. Brownlee was an ex-con who had killed two men in the 1980s. He was shot three times in the chest, reported the Daily News.
Buggs is considered dangerous.

ATLANTA (WGCL) -- Surveillance footage captured the terrifying moment before two violent attackers ambushed a young woman as she got back into her car at local gas station in Atlanta.
The footage showed two suspects appearing to hid & take cover near the back of 23-year-old Jhanae Askew's vehicle while she was inside a Chevron gas station.
“I honestly thought any second was going to be my last,” said Askew.
“I come back out, unlock my door, I get in the drivers side, when I saw then gun that’s when everything hit me & every second I thought I was going to get shot, every second felt like the last, that’s honestly how it felt,” she added.
“Being that aggressive with me, that’s when I realized they might be willing to hurt me,” said Askew.
Askew told officers that she ran inside for help & that's when the suspects fled the scene, only taking two cell phones.
Askew said she made eye contact with the men while she was walking inside the gas station & says that’s when she feels they decided to target her.
“I couldn’t believe that I almost lost my life to two phones, I don’t feel comfortable anywhere knowing they’re still out there I feel like they’ve seen my face way too clearly & I don’t feel like they feel like their job is done, so I don’t feel safe,” said Jhanae.

The bill is far bigger than initial Wall Street expectations of what could be accomplished in a closely divided Congress. It provides a template for a potential longer-term expansion of an American social-safety net that has long been much smaller than its European counterparts. Democrats say the near-$110 billion temporary expansion of the child-tax credit will help cut child poverty in half, while tax forgiveness on jobless benefits and student-debt relief will give help to millions more.

PLANO, Texas (KTVT) - An investigation is underway by Texan school officials and the police after the mother of a 13-year-old boy claimed classmates bullied and abused him at a sleepover.
Summer Smith, the mother of 13-year-old SeMarion Humphrey, says her son has been bullied at Haggard Middle School in Plano, Texas, over the past year. She had been reporting the incidents, but she claims everything came to a head at a sleepover in February.
Smith posted a video to Facebook in which she accused SeMarion’s classmates of forcing him to drink urine at the sleepover. She says he was also shot with BB guns, hit in his sleep and called racial slurs.
She claims the sleepover was orchestrated by the students to purposefully bully SeMarion, saying one of them befriended him the month before to get him to come.
“How horrible must you be? This is not a prank. This is beyond bullying. You are evil,” said Smith of the accused students. “It was premeditated and obvious that SeMarion was only invited for their pure entertainment.”
Smith says her son has been harassed, degraded and physically and mentally tortured by his schoolmates, but despite the fact she reported the incidents, she says she received no help from school staff.
“When you say there’s nothing you can do, what do you mean exactly? Because, I got to be honest, it seems like there’s a lot of things you could do,” Smith said.
The Plano Independent School District would not release information about the specifics of the case but said, “Appropriate measures were promptly taken to protect the victim and to investigate the allegations.”
Police say they will conduct a full investigation to identify any criminal offenses.

MIAMI (AP) — Five South Florida inmates beat up an accused child killer as he slept because “of the nature of his pending charges,” authorities said in a police report.
All five have been charged with battery by a detainee for the March 1 attack on Jorge Barahona at the Miami-Dade County jail. Barahona, 53, suffered bruises on his face, a nosebleed & a small cut on his nose.
Barahona is accused of killing his adopted 10-year-old daughter Nubia Barahona in February 2011, after investigators said he tortured her & her twin brother Victor for months. The child’s body was found on Valentine’s Day 2011, soaked with chemicals in the back of her father’s truck along an interstate in Palm Beach County.
His wife, Carmen Barahona, 69, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder & aggravated child abuse charges last year & is expected to testify against Barahona. He faces the death penalty if convicted at trial.
The case roiled the state Department of Children & Families because despite numerous complaints about abuse of the twins, little was done to protect them. Eventually, the state paid Victor Barahona a $5 million settlement.
The twins had originally been placed in the Barahona home under foster care, then were adopted by the couple.
Barahona’s trial was scheduled for last April, but was postponed by the coronavirus pandemic. It has yet to be rescheduled. He was granted a new defense attorney after it was revealed his previous lawyer is under investigation over discrepancies with his legal billing.
The jail attack on Barahona was not caught on surveillance video because the inmates tampered with the camera, according to a police report. The inmates charged in the attack ranged in age from 20 to 29.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Disturbing new details were released Tuesday in the death of Ayden Wolfe, a 10-year-old boy from Harlem.
His mother’s boyfriend, 34-year-old Ryan Cato, was arraigned on murder charges overnight.
According to the criminal complaint, Wolfe’s body was covered from head to toe with bruises and abrasions. He suffered multiple internal injuries, including broken ribs and liver and kidney lacerations.
A neighbor told investigators they heard a man yelling inside the apartment and banging against the wall the day Wolfe died and the day before.
Cato has three prior arrests, most recently for domestic violence last December.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A central California woman charged with murder after delivering a stillborn baby who tested positive for methamphetamine will be released to a drug treatment center as her lawyers argue that the state’s homicide law does not apply to pregnant women, a position backed by California’s attorney general.
Chelsea Becker, 26, has been in a Kings County jail since her arrest in November 2019, unable to raise $2 million bail. Kings County Superior Court Judge Robert Shane Burns on Tuesday granted her attorneys’ request to release her to an out-of-county residential treatment center pending trial. She has pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors say the case is about stopping a woman who has repeatedly abused narcotics while pregnant, resulting in two other babies who tested positive for meth at birth.
“Despite Ms. Becker’s lengthy and continual history of using illegal narcotics and failed attempts at recovery, we maintain hope in her recovery and her ability to stop choosing drugs over her children,” said Phil Esbenshade, the top assistant district attorney in Kings County, about her release.
The case has outraged advocates of pregnant women who say overzealous prosecutors are trying to punish a woman who needs treatment, and not prison time, and they hope the charges will soon be thrown out. There is no evidence that drug use results in stillbirths, they say, and allowing the charges would have a chilling effect: preventing women from seeking needed prenatal care.
“We are deeply saddened, horrified that this case has been continuing for 15 months, keeping someone incarcerated because she lost a pregnancy, which thousands of women do every year,” said Lynn Paltrow, executive director of National Advocates for Pregnant Women, which is providing legal support for Becker.
