Video After The Jump

Robert de Niro was asked to film a video for the #VoteYourFuture initiative. The Oscar Award-winning actor used the opportunity to rip into Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump with such ferocity, that the producers decided it would be best to release the clip separately on Friday, October 7th.

"He's so blatantly stupid," de Niro says of Trump. "He's a punk. He's a dog. He's a pig. He's a con ... a bullshit artist. A mutt who doesn't know what he's talking about. Doesn't do his homework, doesn't care. Thinks he's gaming society. Doesn't pay his taxes, he's an idior. Colin Powell said it best, he's a national disaster. He's an embarrassment to this country," de Niro continued. "It makes me so angry this country has gotten to this point that this fool, this bozo, has wound up where he has. He talks how he wants to punch people in the face. Well, I'd like to punch him in the face. This is somebody that we want for president? I don't think so."

Well, damn!!

J. Cole pays tribute to Michael Brown on his new song entitled "Be Free."

18-year old Brown was unarmed when he was gunned down by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer on Saturday, August 9. The shooting angered the community, resulting in protests, riots and police confrontations.

The unidentified officer is currently on paid administrative leave pending an FBI investigation.

Rest in Peace to Michael Brown and to every young black man murdered in America, whether by the hands of white or black. I pray that one day the world will be filled with peace and rid of injustice. Only then will we all Be Free - Cole

Audio After The Jump

Steve Harvey has taken off the gloves and is going right at the throats of Cornel West and Tavis Smiley for their criticism of President Obama.

Smiley, a longtime television broadcaster and West, a Princeton professor, host the Smiley & West show on Public Radio International. The two announced plans to hold a Poverty Bus Tour.

According to The Root, the "Poverty Tour: A Call to Conscience" will travel to soup kitchens, Indian reservations and low-income communities. West and Smiley will stay overnight at the homes of families struggling in today's economy.

A big topic of debate is sure to be frequent target Obama.

West told BET that a big reason for the tour is what he sees as Obama's commitment to bankers more than poor people.

"I think that every citizen in a democracy has a moral obligation to be concerned about the weak and vulnerable and the president of the United States is a citizen," West said. "When he says he has the exact same responsibility to every member of society, I just say it’s not true, he’s lying. It’s clear that he has more commitment to investment banks than he does to poor people. It’s just clear because when they got in trouble he gave them $700 billion; he subsidized them. They have not made poor people a priority. That’s why we’re going on the tour."

Rev. Al Sharpton, Tom Joyner, and now Harvey are firing back at West and Smiley.

Harvey addressed the situation on his radio show a couple of days ago.

"I was a huge fan of Cornel West," said Harvey. "Tavis, I seen him coming a mile away. His anger started when he had a town hall meeting, President Obama couldn't come because of the campaign trail and he sent Mrs. Obama. He has held that grudge every since. You don't have any real basis behind your dislike for this man...you keep masking it saying it's not about hate. Then what is it about? Poverty existed before January 20, 2008. Where was your damn bus then?"

Harvey then clowned West and Smiley in a skit titled UTLO.org - "Uncle Tom Look Out" where an Uncle Tom is driving the bus.

Peep the full audio below.

President Obama recently called Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie to congratulate him on the teams success this year, and for giving Michael Vick a second chance.

The call was enough to once again rile up those who feel like Vick hasn’t suffered enough for his role in a dog fighting ring. Never mind the fact that Vick served 19 months in prison, became a national disgrace and lost millions of dollars for his transgression.

Some people want the man to pay with his life, Tucker Carlson is one of those people.

Carlson is guest hosting Fox News’ ‘Hannity’ show this week. During a discussion about Obama’s call to Lurie, Carlson criticized the President for supporting Vick getting a second chance and said the football player should have been put to death for his crime.

"I'm a Christian, I've made mistakes myself, I believe fervently in second chances, but Michael Vick killed dogs, and he did [it] in a heartless and cruel way," Carlson said. "And I think personally he should have been executed for that. He wasn't. But the idea that the President of the United States would be getting behind someone who murdered dogs [is] kind of beyond the pale."

What's your take on Carlson's comments? Do you think Fox should fire him? Or was what he said ok in your opinion?

Video After The Jump

Actress and AIDS activist Rosie Perez claims she was injured back in Sept. 2009 on the set of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." Now, ET talks to the Emmy-nominated actress to find out why she is wearing a neck brace and why she was scared for her career.

"I have two slipped discs, one bulge, three sprained ligaments, and a pinched nerve, which resulted in minor nerve damage," Rosie tells ET.

She says the problem began during a stunt, which she says resulted in shaken baby syndrome, but she says she was initially misdiagnosed, and, as a result, she waited a long time to get a correct diagnosis.

"Then, when the problem was diagnosed correctly, I didn't listen to the doctors because I wanted to try alternative methods to heal. Then, I finally had to relent and give in to surgery," she says.

NBC was contacted but declined to comment on the story.

ET caught up with Rosie, a member of the Presidential Advisory Council for HIV/AIDS (PACHA), shortly after she returned from Washington, D.C., where she met President Barack Obama, neck brace and all.

"I have been an AIDS activist for 23 years," Rosie says. "AIDS has been in our lives for 30 years and there has never been a national AIDS strategy ever in the United States of America. This was the first time that it has occurred."

Naturally, she didn't want to miss the occasion, so Rosie, who had surgery just a few weeks ago, talked to her doctor, who gave her permission to go only if she followed his instructions to the letter: Go to the White House, do her thing and leave. No parties.

"We got to have a private moment with the president," she continues. "I sat in a chair and I did not want to have the picture taken with the neck brace on, so I had my scarf to rap around it. I could not stand at attention. [When] the Commander and Chief walks in the room, you stand at attention.

So, he is shaking everyone's hands and he gets to me and he says, 'Rosie, what did you do to yourself?' I said, 'I injured myself on set.' He said, 'What were you doing -- a stunt? And everyone said, 'Yeah,' and he goes, 'Didn't they tell you that they have professionals to do that?' It was really funny."

Despite her injury, Rosie, who says she hadn't worked since September, managed to film a Lifetime TV movie, "Lies in Plain Sight," again under strict doctor's orders.

She says, "I went to my doctor and I said, 'I really want to do this project.' He said, 'All you can do is dialogue, you can't do any action.' So, I had a spinal injection and they extracted spinal fluid and they injected this other thing in my neck and in my spine. I was only able to work for, I think, five days, or six or seven days. But, then, towards the end of the shoot, I was in so much pain that we had to really, really take it easy."

Rosie says she has gotten through all this with the help of loved ones and by staying positive. She is so positive, in fact, that she has more work lined up for when the doctor gives her the green light to resume her career.
