Audio After The Jump POW-TV has been conducting interviews with B. Pumper over the last several days. They got into his business mind about his goal of signing with G-Unit. Today, the topics switched to two other things people can't stop talking about. Why does Pumper wear so much ice and what did he think of Montana Fishburne's spotted "leopard booty." Addressing the ice Pumper had this to say: "Honestly, that's just like a part of my image. I mean I could switch it up, throw the 3-piece suit on. But that's just me. As a rapper it depends, some rappers mature out of the flashy, shiny pieces. They might just wear one watch or no jewelry at all, certain rappers are doing that. But if you look at Plies, Lil Wayne, Birdman. These n*ggas stuntin hard, flossin," he explained. "Who knows, I might switch it up, I never know. Right now I like it because I'm buff." Ok, so what about the spots on Montana's a**? "She told me before I even came to the set, she says 'I'm gonna let you know right now, so you don't think anything weird. I've got these spots on my butt and it's not an outbreak, I'm not sick, nothing like that. I've had them ever since I was little, they're beauty marks,' " Pumper says he didn't get to see them until she got to the actual shoot, but after her explanation, he was cool with it. "If I worried about that, I wouldn't have hit the jackpot and get a big time celebrity daughter in my flick." twitter-5d.gif

Whoopi Goldberg has been forced to end her run in the London production of Sister Act early after her mother had a stroke. The actress, 54, flew back to the U.S. today after learning of her elderly mother Emma Johnson's condition. Goldberg had been playing the Mother Superior since August 10 at the London Palladium and scheduled to complete her run next Tuesday. Cut short: Whoopi Goldberg, pictured on her first night as Mother Superior, has left the London production of Sister Act The show's producers said: 'Ms Goldberg is very sorry not to be able to perform as planned and the thoughts and sincere best wishes of the producers and the entire Sister Act company are with her at this difficult time.' An understudy will now step in for Ms Goldberg until new Mother Superior Sally Dexter takes over next week. Producers advised ticketholders who do not wish to see the production without Goldberg to contact their point of purchase. After playing singer Deloris Van Cartier in the original 1992 film and its sequel, Goldberg decided she was too old to reprise the role for the West End and instead took on the role of Mother Superior. The Oscar winner sent Sister Act box office sales through the roof when she revealed she would be taking the role for just three weeks earlier this summer. Ms Goldberg ended up with the role accidentally during a meeting with her fellow producers of the stage production to find a replacement for outgoing Mother Superior Sheila Hancock. To give producers more time to find a new Mother Superior, Goldberg jokingly suggested she take on the role for a few weeks and they agreed. Hancock had starred in the production since it opened last June, but had to leave for contractual reasons, leaving producers in need of a suitably matriarchal replacement. Daily Mail twitter-5d.gif

While the police have seemingly given up on solving the murder of rapper/actor/poet, Tupac Shakur, fans and certain members of the media continue to look for clues. Tupac died September 13, 1996 in Las Vegas at the age of 25 from gunshot wounds sustained six days earlier. That is pretty much the only thing everyone can agree on. A new movie coming out about the man who has had more albums released since his death (8), than when he was alive (6) will focus on his last day of life, with flashbacks to the final four years leading up to it. Trying to shed light on why he was killed. Stephen J. Rivele is one of two screenwriters hired to write the film. He spoke to Vulture about the direction the project would be taking. "This is the story of an artist whose character is at odds with his medium. He was a really sensitive, very romantic, talented young poet who also could sing, dance, and act. But the realities [of the hip-hop record business] were that he had to create this persona of the gangster," Rivele says. "He was obviously very angry, and had been subjected to a great deal of violence at home, in the streets and in prison. But he was just beginning to shed that anger and look for a purer voice...He was in the process of changing himself, and entering a new phase of his life — essentially a Romantic vision — and had set up a new label, and a new production company to create it. He saw the contradiction between the musical persona of 'Thug Life,' and his essential nature as a gentle, sensitive person. And that was partly responsible for his murder: He was not a gangster, but the people around him were. They saw he was going to leave, that they were going to lose him, and so I think they decided to kill him." The movie is expected to begin production in November, and will be directed by Antoine Fuqua, who also directed 'Training Day.' twitter-5d.gif

DALLAS — Getting a boxing license for Antonio Margarito in Texas proved much easier than it did in California and Nevada. All it took was a $20 application fee and a clean bill of health from a doctor. No pesky hearing with state-appointed commissioners badgering him about the loaded gloves he was going to enter the ring with against Shane Mosley at the Staples Center in January 2009. Margarito was licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Thursday, eight days after the California State Athletic Commission, which revoked his license in February 2009, held a five-hour public hearing before turning him down. Nevada refused to license Margarito earlier this summer, requesting instead he return to California for the Aug. 18 hearing in Los Angeles. The granting of a Texas license for Margarito means that as soon as Top Rank promoter Bob Arum and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones get together to iron out some minute details, an official announcement will come of a Margarito-Manny Pacquiao WBC 154-pound world title fight at Cowboys Stadium on Nov. 13. "We have been sitting on pins and needles waiting for approval" said Todd DuBoef, president of Top Rank, which promotes Margarito and Pacquiao. "We are relieved Texas did its due diligence and approved the licensing." DuBoef said Top Rank and Jones have an agreement in principle to stage what would be the second major card at Cowboys Stadium. A Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey bout in March attracted 50,994 fans with The Philippines’ Pacquiao, considered the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, the lone drawing card. It was a listless fight with Clottey, who is from Ghana, content to go the 12-round distance in losing by unanimous decision. Citing the popularity of Tijuana’s Margarito with Hispanic fans, Arum has estimated that a Pacquiao-Margarito bout could draw a crowd of 70,000. "We had everything in place, so we can pick it back up," Jones told reporters at Cowboys training camp before the news was officially announced. HBO is planning to televise the fight for the vacant title on pay-per-view. Margarito is 38-6 with 27 knockouts. Pacquiao, who holds the WBO 147-pound world title, is 51-3 with 38 knockouts. He hopes to win a title in his sixth weight class against Margarito. The news of Texas’ decision to license Margarito came via a press release from William Kuntz, executive director of the Austin-based state’s licensing and regulation department. "After a thorough review of his application it was determined Mr. Margarito met the requirements of the Texas Combative Sports Act and Rules," Kuntz said in the release. A department spokesperson said Kuntz would not be available for further comment until Friday. California revoked Margarito’s license several weeks after he lost his WBA 147-pound world title via technical knockout to Mosley. Before Margarito entered the ring, a Mosley corner man asked that Margarito’s hand wraps be inspected. They were found to contain an illegal plaster-coated substance. The substance was removed, and his hands were re-wrapped. At last week’s California hearing, Margarito repeatedly denied knowing that the substance had been inserted. Legendary party-rocker DJ Jazzy Jeff was stopped mid-performance in Las Vegas Wednesday night (August 25) while DJing a charity event in honor of his former partner, the late DJ AM. According to reports, the management at Surrender nightclub were "unhappy" with the musical selections Jeff was playing and made the decision to pull him mid-set. Jeff later tweeted about the incident, saying "Funny when people r having a good time but management isn't..can u say...The Right Party at the Wrong Place...F--- it...AM Lives."

Known for being both one of the most universally respected and beloved DJ's, Jeff was donating his time in honor of his late friend, who held a DJing residency at Rain nightclub in Vegas prior to his death. Unfortunately this is not the first time that Jeff has been forcibly removed from the stage while DJing. Jeff was similarly disrespected during the Kansas City stop on the Bacardi B-Live tour in June of 2009 when event organizers complained about his hype man Skillz' alleged usage of "gang signs" while Jeff played Biz Markie's unrequited love anthem "Just a Friend." Jeff has yet to comment about the incident (beyond his tweet). Source: BoomBox twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump CINCINNATI -- If you can't get enough Chad Ochocinco items, here comes another one: the wide receiver's own cereal. "Ochocinco's" will go on sale Sept. 7 at Kroger stores in Cincinnnati and Dayton and online at PLBSports.com. PLB Sports is known for selling all sorts of player-themed items, including Flutie Flakes and Big Ben Beef Jerky. The box of cereal will cost $3. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Feed the Children. The company hopes to sell 100,000 boxes. “Chad is a great personality, and with his involvement in social media and his interaction with the fans, he was an athlete that we were very excited to work with,” said PLB Sports President Ty Ballou in a news release. “One way or another, America has learned and is continuing to learn more about Chad Ochocinco off the field, and they’re finding out how great he is. Who wouldn’t want to share a breakfast table with him?” Apparently, the Bengals don't. WLWT caught up with head coach Marvin Lewis Wednesday as the team practiced for Friday night's preseason game against the Buffalo Bills. "No, it won't be on the Bengals training table," Lewis said. "You can quote me on that one." Offensive lineman Bobbie Williams added, "I got to talk to him. Right now, I'm booing it, 'cause he hasn't given us any free samples, so I'm booing it." Fans were a bit more receptive, even if they weren't particularly surprised by the news. "It's right up his alley, I think -- it's Chad doing something different," Katie Haigis said. "I think Chad's hot right now, so he may as well make hay while the sun is shining," Edith Mariani said. "He's doing well for himself." PLB Sports previously sold cereal named after Ochocinco's new teammate Terrell Owens. About 63,000 boxes of "TO's" were sold in Buffalo when he played there last year. Back in 2000, PLB Sports came out with Team of Dreams cereal honoring the 25th anniversary of the 1975 Big Red Machine world title. That box featured Tony Perez, Johnny Bench, Pete Rose and Joe Morgan. Source: WLWT twitter-5d.gif

Nicki Minaj has been the subject of a lot of rumors in her short career. Has she had plastic surgery? Did she date Lil Wayne? Is she really bi-sexual? Is Diddy her manager and are the two of them involved romantically? While she didn't clear up all speculation, the Young Money femcee did set the record straight on a couple of those topics. In a recent interview with CNN, Nicki was asked about those Diddy rumors. "You know how you look at your older brother? That's how I look at Diddy. When people say that, it makes me gag. He's my friend, and he's sweet and he's a great guy, but I could never see him that way," she said. The article states that for the record, Diddy is not her manager. Nicki also had a something to say about people that constantly put down her abilities as a rapper. "The people that are inclined to hate are also inclined to be losers. A loser could never congratulate a winner - it's not in them" she says. twitter-5d.gif

Today was a fairly boring one in the world of hip hop, until 50 Cent took over his Twitter account and all hell broke loose. The first sign that something out of the ordinary was going on, were these series of tweets from 50's account: "I can't belive my grand mothers making me take Out the garbage I'm rich f*ck this I'm going home I don't need this sh*t Got d*m it motherf*ckers I'm having a bad dayThere's other people at the house she just likes to boss me around I took out the garbage She mad cause I havent been over there a lot I been working my grand father was laughingAnd sh*t fuck that." That made a few people scratch their heads wondering wtf was going on. Bloggers and fans alike were wondering if his account had been hacked. When this next one came in, there wasn't one person on twitter watching 50's timeline that didn't crack up laughing.

And the comedy just kept coming after it was confirmed that it was actually Fif. Kat Stacks, Fat Joe, Allhiphop, Soulja Boy, Miss Info, Necole B*tchie and every producer on the 'Before I Self Destruct' album got jabbed, some harder than others. Here's some of the highlights: "Man my head been aching all morningI took motrin but I need some of that syrup Sh*t They be drinking Soulja Boy my little n*gga They just cought him snow mobilingIts cool. He congratulated Lloyd Banks for going gold with the single "Beamer, Benz or Bentley." And he just dropped this us in the last few minutes:

Video After The Jump The self-proclaimed King of the South is back, and The BoomBox caught up with T.I. as he prepped for his first major performance since he was released from prison earlier this year. Last week Tip kicked off AXE Music's 'One Night Only' series at New York's Capitale, and while the sound technicians, grips, gaffer, etc. were there to make sure the performance went off without a hitch, the many journalists and camera crews were undoubtedly present to capture any info the rapper could give about his incarceration and many upcoming projects. Acutely prepared for the barrage of questions coming his way from hungry media, T.I. strolled into the venue, took a spot and allowed the photogs to snap away. After accommodating several photo requests, shaking hands of label reps and handlers, and figuring out his lunch plans, T.I. jumped right into explaining why he knows 'King Uncaged' stands up to any classic hip-hop album, specifically Tupac's post-prison 'All Eyez on Me.' "The reason why we get ourselves up in the morning is to be in competition for the best of the best. I am no different. This is no different," Tip explained, clearing up some possible confusion over the comparison he made in Rolling Stone magazine. "I think my statement was somewhat taken out of context though. I said that this would be the biggest, most anticipated album after the release of an imprisoned artist since 'All Eyez on Me,' and for that reason it would probably be compared to 'All Eyez on Me.' I did not weigh in on that comparison in any way. Those are huge shoes to fill. It's a tall order and it implies a lot of pressure. But I welcome pressure." And, welcoming pressure and challenges, T.I. will be releasing 'King Uncaged' on September 28, just six months after being released from a halfway house -- which was his home for three months after spending nine months in a federal correctional facility in Forrest City, Ark. In the meantime, Tip will star alongside Chris Brown, Idris Elba and Matt Dillon in the heist flick 'Takers,' which is set to hit theaters this Friday (August 27). Source: BoomBox twitter-5d.gif

R&B singer-songwriter Ne-Yo and his booking agent was ordered by a Maryland judge to pay more than $156,000 in damages because the entertainer pulled out of a booked appearance at a 2008 New Year's Eve concert in Washington state. Philip Caroom, an Anne Arundel County Circuit Judge, ruled for the payment Tuesday after a four-day trial in late July and early August, reports the Associated Press. Ne-Yo and Maryland promoter Mike Esterman were sued by Kenyohn Clark, who claimed that Esterman misled him and failed to return a $95,000 deposit. Court documents show Ne-Yo testified at trial that he knew in his "heart of hearts" that the deposit should have been returned. Jason Brino, Clark's attorney, says his client was "basically public enemy No. 1" after the botched concert and abandoned the promotion business to take a job as a military contractor. Audio After The Jump Brian Pumper is obviously a 50 Cent/G-Unit fan. The "Porno N*gga" has made that pretty obvious in a few of his videos by having some of his porn girls shout out the Unit. Now, he's revealing his marketing plan, that he hopes will convince 50 to sign him "I wanna do B. Pumper albums, which I wanna put out under 50 Cent. I want 50 Cent to sign me as a solo act," Pumper tells Pow-TV. "G-Unit stands for guerilla gangster sh*t, but a n*gga don't have to be be poppin pistols or selling crack. Anything can be considered gangster, 'Yo that n*gga's a fool, he be smashin all the shorties in the [porno] flicks you gangster for that,' " he continued. "I like G-Unit, I like the style, the energy they bring in their music." Aside from music, Brian has plans to write a book about sex, what else? A B. Pumper sex toy for the ladies and cologne. "I want 50 to help me put a book out. Now my book is gonna be about sex lives, how to better sex lives, why men bust quick...the skills to control that so now they can be Superman in the bedroom. An NYPD cop whose wife called 911 for help against a gang of thugs says he was brutally beaten by baton-wielding fellow officers who stormed his Queens home. Larry Jackson suffered a broken right hand and multiple bruises from kicks and billy-club blows he said he got from the men in blue called to his home when a gunman menaced guests at his daughter's birthday party. "To get my butt beat like that was unnecessary," said the six-year veteran assigned to the 110th Precinct. "We called the police, and this is what happened to me." "I'm shocked, angry and disappointed," said the 6-foot-3, 300-pound Jackson. Prosecutors and the NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau are probing his claims.

His hand in a cast, he met with the Daily News on Wednesday and lifted his shirt to show the scars from Sunday's early morning confrontation. Jackson, who is black, said the excessive force by the cops, who were white, might have been racially motivated. "They didn't treat me like a house-owner calling for help," he said. "Everyone who lives in the 113th Precinct is not a perp." Investigators from IAB took a DNA sample from Jackson on Wednesday and told his lawyer, Eric Sanders, it was for testing against the cops' batons, which have been confiscated. Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Jackson "was injured as a result of a dispute at the party." A spokeswoman did not return a call for further comment. Jackson's wife, Charlene, made a 911 call around 1:15 a.m. Sunday as her unarmed husband faced down thugs armed with a gun and bats who showed up as partygoers started leaving his home in Rochdale. "I told the 911 operator it's my daughter's 21st birthday and my husband is a police officer and there's a young man with a gun," she said. "Who do we call now?" said Charlene Jackson, a city bus driver. "It's very hurtful to know you can't trust the police officers in your neighborhood. I feel like the 113th Precinct is our enemy." Larry Jackson, wearing an apron with the slogan, "I'm the chef and I'm awesome," said he did not identify himself to the street thugs as a cop - but was able to convince them to leave. They were slinking off when the first patrol car from the 113th Precinct roared up and a sergeant got out. Charlene Jackson said she tried to tell the sergeant what happened when her niece yelled from the house that there was a fight inside. The sergeant's driver ran inside and struck a friend of the family with his baton, the Jacksons said. The sergeant then pushed Larry Jackson with his baton, they said, and when Jackson grabbed the sergeant, another cop began choking him from behind. Jackson was knocked down and fell on his 82-year-old mother-in-law who briefly lost consciousness, he said. "I'm covering my face and getting hit everywhere," he said. "Then somebody pepper sprayed me." The couple said cops hit at least six family members and friends with batons. Their stepson, a cousin and a nephew were charged with disorderly conduct. Larry Jackson's gun and badge were taken and he was placed on modified duty. "What's most disturbing is there were supervisors on the scene who did nothing," said lawyer Sanders.

Video After The Jump Darmstadt, Germany (CNN) -- A German pop star was found guilty Thursday of causing grievous bodily harm and attempted bodily harm for failing to tell sexual partners that she was infected with HIV. Nadja Benaissa, 28, former singer in the girl band No Angels, was given a two-year suspended sentence. She was also ordered to complete 300 hours of community service with people who are HIV-positive. The trial has been taking place at a court here in Darmstadt, south of Frankfurt. Benaissa had unprotected sex five times between 2000 and 2004 with three people and did not tell them she was infected, according to multiple media reports.

One of her partners became infected with the virus. Benaissa had allegedly known her status since 1999. Benaissa admitted not telling sexual partners she was HIV-positive but denied intending to infect anyone, telling the court during the trial, "I am sorry from the heart." Benaissa had said she believed there was little chance of her passing on the virus and she did not want it made public because of the harm it might cause her daughter and the band, according to the German newspaper Bild. Bild also reported that one of Benaissa's alleged victims told the court he had unprotected sex with Benaissa on about three occasions. He said he went to the doctor after learning of Benaissa's condition from her aunt, and discovered he had contracted the virus. He told Benaissa: "You have borne so much suffering in the world," according to the newspaper. No Angels became Germany's most successful all-female group after they formed on the international television show "Popstars" in 2000. The band reformed in 2007 and competed in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. Benaissa is appearing in youth court because she was 17 at the time of the first alleged offence. The fact that Benaissa is HIV-positive was not made public until her arrest in April last year. She spent 10 days in custody after her arrest before being released on bail. Source: CNN twitter-5d.gif
