Video After The Jump

Cassidy stopped by VladTV to speak about new things he has in the works, including his upcoming project, "The Boy Barbaric," and he also touched on the possibility of a battle rap in the near future. When asked about if he would jump in the ring anytime soon, Cassidy told DJ Vlad that he's always down to battle.

During the conversation, Cassidy also addressed the current state of battle rap, as he admits that it has cooled off in recent months. He added that investors need to start jumping in the industry to get bigger talent and more diversity because Cassidy thinks rappers are relying on too many gimmicks to get a buzz.

Check out the below interview to hear more from Cassidy, including why he thinks he's considered one of the top five rappers of all time.

It wasn't planned, but both 50 Cent and The Game ended up at Ace of Diamonds strip club in Los Angeles on Monday, August 1.

There was no tension in the air as the two rappers showered the dancers with money.

At one point TMZ captured video of the two having a civil conversation.

Game later took to the stage to announce that he and the G-Unit Records boss no longer have any issues.

"I fuck with 50," the Compton rapper said. "What happened, that shit was 12 years ago. Drink your motherfucking EFFEN. Ain't nobody on that old shit ... let's just get money."

Rihanna graces the cover of the September issue of W Magazine. The pop superstar is beautifully photographed by Steven Klein.

For W's September 2016 cover shoot, Rihanna played a queen of the post-apocalyptic world. And looking like a royal, of any kind, required getting the royal treatment. "Rihanna is playing the Queen, so everything has to be custom made specifically for her," explained W's creative fashion and style director Edward Enninful.

Check out the behind the scenes video of the shoot and photos below. Head over to W Magazine for more.

The Lox Ft. J-Doe - What Happens? (Audio)

12352274462?profile=original

The Lox teamed up with J-Doe to release a new song expressing their anger at the recent police killings of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling.

Take a listen to "What Happens?" up top and read the accompanying message from the group below.

Dear America,

We want peace.

We do not hate police nor do we want police to hate us, but there is a divide in communities across this country. We feel like we (minorities) are a perceived enemy.

We salute and acknowledge the good officers of the community around America but recognition of good does not prevent us from addressing what is taking place across the nation..

Some may interpret this song as a threat – it is not. We are asking a question, ”What happens when we can’t take any more, what happens when we do to you what you have done to us?” As artists and businessmen we know good officers. We have gone to school with, grown up with and are friends with officers. Officers have supported some of our businesses and we appreciate and support officers right back. But, we cannot ignore recent horrifying incidents.

To police and government officials across the world, please understand and over stand – We want peace!!!

We are asking for no more, or no less, than equality, and justice, and absolute freedom, which is due to us.

– The LOX

Video After The Jump

It looks like two of hip hop's biggest stars will be hitting the studio to record a joint album.

On Monday night, August 1, Kanye West took the stage at the 2016 OVO Fest in Toronto to announce that he and Drake are cooking up something big.

“Is y’all ready for this album?” Yeezy asked the crowd. “I wasn't talking about Pablo. I wasn't talking about VIEWS. I wanna ask y’all right now: Are y’all ready for this album?” He said, pointing at Drake before pointing back to himself.

12352280070?profile=original

Needless to say, the album would be huge if it comes to fruition. Would you like like to hear a collaborative project from these two?
