(CNN) -- Think you had a hellish commute this morning? Just be thankful you're not in China, where a traffic jam stretching more than 100 km (62 miles) has forced drivers to keep their feet planted on brake pedals for nine days.
The gridlock, which started August 14, involves thousands of trucks between the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Chinese capital of Beijing, according to state media.
Fender-benders and broken-down vehicles are adding to the chaos, state media reported.
Some drivers played cards to pass the time, while others fumed about nearby vendors taking advantage of their predicament by gouging food prices.
Still, some opted to not take detours to avoid farther travel and toll costs.
Traffic congestion is a common problem in China. But construction on a section of the Beijing-Tibet Expressway has forced more traffic to National Expressway 110, which runs roughly parallel.
Roads leading to Beijing are particularly notorious for turning into parking lots.
"If there's no traffic jam in the city, that would be news," Niu Fengrui, director of the Institute for Urban and Environmental Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, told state media.
"Our government should pick up the pace of urban infrastructure construction and spend some of its budget," he said.
But drivers are nowhere near the finish line. Construction is scheduled to continue until September 13

Video After The JumpLloyd recently met with Dr Dre and got the chance to hear the long awaited 'Detox' album and came away impressed.
"It sounds like.....it's history, it's classic, it's epic. It's like L.A. stand up...it's like West Coast. This guy, he's a legend, he's not the youngest guy in the game. So for him to still have the youth by the balls and be able to come out with stuff that's constantly changing. I think it's incredible and it felt like magic."
Lloyd also spoke on Dre's work ethic and what the West Coast legend thought of his new record with Polow Da Don.
"Actually he walked in when me and Polow had just finished the single, Lay It Down. And he heard the ad libbing at the end. And he was like 'damn'. That reaction alone for me, was like validation, so shout out to Dre."
When asked if he would be appearing on 'Detox', Lloyd said "have faith man."

Video After The JumpA security guard in Santa Fe Springs, California is lucky to be alive today, after batting with two would be thieves.
This all went down at a AP Natural Solutions, A medical marijuana store.
Two men enter the store pretending to be customers, one pulls out a gun while his partner manages to take the security guard's gun.
That's when the security guard made either a very brave, or very dumb decision when he starts scrapping with the robbers. The three go at it, until the gunmen try to get out of the room they're in, but the door is locked.
One of the robbers starts firing bullets at the door handle in an unsuccessful attempt to get it to unlock.
Finally the security guard lets them out. Other than catching some shrapnel from the bullets that were fired, the guard didn't suffer any major injuries.
The thieves only escaped with the guard's gun and holster.
The security guard has a lot of heart, but the weed in that store isn't worth his life. Hopefully nothing like this happens to him again, but if it does he should not only give the thieves the weed and money, but also help them bag it up and live to see another day.

Video After The JumpBack in July we reported the story of homo thug Antoine Dodson. An Alabama man man who saved his sister from an attack by an intruder, then hilariously threatened the would-be rapist on the evening news.
Now Antoine is getting the last laugh, as a song spoofing his threats has gone viral and is charting on the Billboard Hot 100.
The "Bed Intruder Song" made it's debut at # 89 on the Hot 100. It also debuts on Hot Digital Songs at No. 49 with 30,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Antoine and his sister, Kelly Dodson, who was attacked get 50% of the song's profits.
The Gregory Brothers from youtube's AutotuneTheNews are responsible for making the spoof. Evan Gregory spoke to Billboard about the song's unlikely success.
"Why I think people are latching onto it is frankly quite similar to why they latch onto a classic ballad or pop song that tops the charts -- because there's real emotion behind it that people identify with, even if, in this case, it was for unusual reasons," he said
Congrats to Antoine and his sister for turning what could have been a family disaster into a money making venture.

What do Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber have in common?
They've now all raised the ire of Bill O'Reilly.
A week after O'Reilly called Aniston "destructive to society" for playing a single mom in The Switch, he took aim Friday at Kardashian and Bieber, who recently posed together by the beach for an Elle magazine photo shoot.
Joking that Kardashian is "42," (she's 29) and that Bieber, 16, "looks like Ringo Starr," the O'Reilly Factor host wondered if the The Graduate/"Mrs. Robinson" themed pics were appropriate.
"I think it's gross," Republican strategist Margaret Hoover said during the chat. "It's a 16 year-old having an affair with a celebutante!"
Panelist Rebecca Diamond argued: "It's every sixteen-year-old male's dream to have pictures with Kim Kardashian."
O'Reilly, 60, claimed that he wasn't interested in sexy older women when he was Bieber's age. "I wanted to be a baseball player [when I was 16]," he said. "I didn't want to hang around with Kim Kardashian...I had a baseball bat and a bat and [a pair of] ice skates! That's what I was doing."
Suggesting a double standard at work, O'Reilly finally noted, "I will tell you this: If a 16-year-old girl was pictured with a 29-year-old man in any of that, he'd be in big trouble."
Singer Faith Evans got caught up at a DUI checkpoint in Los Angeles and was taken into custody last night (August 21).

No word yet on her blood alcohol level.
Faith is trying to get her career back on track and is expected to release an album in October.

For a hot minute, Houston rapper Mike Jones was everywhere. Dude was gimmicky, repeating his name throughout songs and giving out his real cell number. But people overlooked that because he had a bonafied hit early on with "Still Tippin", a collaboration with Slim Thug and Pall Wall.
At that time, Mike was with Michal "5000" Watts at Swishahouse where he dropped the album 'Who Is Mike Jones?'. Seeing an opportunity to grab a bigger piece of the pie, Mike formed Ice Age Entertainment and dropped the mostly ignored album 'The Voice'.
In addition to waning popularity, Mike was running into trouble with other rappers locally in Houston. At the 2008 Ozone Awards, held in Houston, he got punched in the nose by Trae The Truth for referring to himself as the "President Of Houston", even though he never repped the city according to Trae.
Ozone caught up with Pall Wall recently and asked him just what the hell happened to Mike.
Seems, Mike wasn't one of Paul's favorite people and he let that be known.
"Ever since he left Swishahouse I haven’t really kept track of him. I really didn’t know him too well before he came to Swishahouse. I’d say he dug his own grave. He lied to a lot of people, he turned his back on a lot of people, and he burned a lot of bridges. I don’t want to kick a dog while he’s down and I don’t wanna just talk shit about him, but I think a lot of people were happy when [Trae] punched him and knocked him out. But at the same time, a lot of people were mad at Trae too. It’s not like Mike Jones is the gangsta of the year, so in my opinion, you don’t really get points for beating up Mike Jones. Some people say it was a publicity stunt on Trae’s part, but I disagree with that totally because I know Trae and he doesn’t really do publicity stunts like that. If Trae feels disrespected, he’s going to address it. I think that’s what happened. If somebody disrespects you, [punching them] is not always the answer, but it’s definitely sometimes the answer. So I don’t feel like Trae was wrong in any form or fashion. Trae doesn’t do publicity stunts. But like I said, Mike Jones burned his bridge with a lot of people, so he probably had a knock out coming from somewhere at some time anyway. I’m positive of that."
Well, Damn!!

Video After The JumpWhen I originally saw this video, the first thought that came to mind was, who in the hell thought of this sh*t in the first place?. I mean it had to start somewhere.
Mules, named Dipsey Doodle and Smokey are made to high dive 22 feet from a platform into a six foot pool at the "All-American High Diving Aqua Mules" show in Pipe Creek, Texas.
Crowds come and pay six bucks per person to watch and laugh at the spectacle.
The show's owner, Bill Rivers thinks the mules love it.
"All I can say, you know, is what's wrong with a mule diving in a pool on a hot day? I mean it sounds pretty good to me," Bill says.
On one of the practice runs, Bill is heard yelling "yee haw" as Smokey hits the "pool". No joke, I only though they said that phrase in old western movies, haha.
Police have ruled that the show isn't harming the animals and is legal.
I can think of better ways to spend $6, but it's obvious some people like this kind of entertainment.
But there are people who don't like it at all. AnimalsChange.org has started a petition to have the show stopped.
Guess we'll see what happens.

Videos After The JumpI've been thinking about blogging this subject for a while. But it wasn't until I found out that actor/rapper/clown, Joaquin Phoenix's documentary was actually being released that I went ahead and tackled this mess.
Joaquin Phoenix the very gifted actor, decided he was bored with acting and wanted to try his hand at rapping. Many people speculate this has all been a big joke played on us and the documentary detailing his road to becoming a rapper 'I'm Still Here' is actually a mockumentary. Meant to poke fun at hip hop culture while Phoenix and his flunky, Casey Affleck laugh at it's expense.
Then there are those people like Diddy, who say Joaquin really is a rapper. Diddy was supposed to produce Joaquin's debut cd and has produced at least one song for Phoenix.
"Joaquin's for real," Diddy told MTV. "If he's not for real, he tricked me, we went into the studio, did a record, mixed a record and everything."
That's an official co-sign from the man that has worked on records with Notorious, B.I.G, Mary J Blage, The Lox and others.
So i blame all of the buffoonery in the videos below on Diddy

Video After The JumpBow Wow is feeling anxious about his next album. He's been promoting his new movie 'Lottery Ticket' and hasn't had the time to get in the booth. The Cash Money rapper told Nnete of Houston's 97.9 The Box that he recently called up his former protege, Jermaine Dupri to share his concerns.
"I was just talking to Jermaine [Dupri] yesterday. I called him and was like 'yo I know I never really called you and said anything like this before. I'm kind of scared, I'm nervous because I wanna get in the studio so bad. I'm know for putting out hit records and I don't wanna be away for too long to where I don't know what that feeling feels like again.'"
It's both a gift and a curse for the 23 year old, but he says Birdman is very happy that he's opened the door for more Cash Money artists to get movie roles. Bow Wow reveals that he almost got Nicki Minaj a part in the movie.
“To be honest Nicki was close to being “Nikki” in the movie…I was responsible for that. I said let’s get Nicki out here to audition and I called Nicki and she actually auditioned. I thought she did good but unfortunately you know how things don’t work out."
Bow recently visited Lil Wayne is prison. He said Weezy told him to stay out of trouble because guys like them aren't built for jail.
“It was a humbling experience and one thing he told me when I went to visit him was ‘Bow, This aint for us, this aint it.. This aint built for cats like us. They don’t understand us we don’t understand them.. don’t do it man, just stay out of trouble you and Drizzy yall stay clean yall stay doing what yall do yall can do this forever. all of this, it aint worth it . I knew he meant it, cause Tune never lectures me like that but he was serious.’ His spirits are high. When he gets out we definitely planning on this Young Money Cash Money Tour, myself, Nicki, Drizzy Wayne and the whole entire family.”

Video After The JumpJ.Cole is the only rapper signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation imprint. I think that says a lot about the confidence Hov has in the 25 year old rapper/producer from Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Cole recently sat down with New York Daily News and talked about how he got his start in the business and what led to his signing with Jay-Z.
"I started rapping when I was 12 years old, back home in Fayetteville. From 12 years old I kinda knew this is something I really wanna do," he says. "Like it was more than just fun. I was already picturing being in the studio making songs, doing videos."
In his hometown, there weren't a lot of producers at that time, so Cole started making beats for himself. At 18 he moved to New York hoping to get signed. It took a few years, but the Saint John's University graduate eventually got his big break.
"Mark Pitts, who managed Biggie and signed Chris Brown and signed Ciarra, loved my stuff and played "Lights Please", a song I got for Jay-Z. And then here we are, here about a year later."
Look for J.Cole's not yet titled debut to hit stores in December.

More Pics After The JumpDollicia Bryan has been mentioned in some circles as the younger, hotter version of Kim Kardashian. At least that's what Dollicia told King Magazine in the interview accompanying her latest shoot for them.
"The media compared me to Kim, the Queen of media, as a younger hotter version."
Dollicia, while giving Kim K. props for becoming a mega star, feels like they are two very different people.
"I can see the comparison; we have similar shaped bodies, very curvy. But we’re two different women. I’m a mother, so I can never be famous for leaking a sex tape."
I don't know, this sex tape thing seems to be the new way to gain quick fame. Much respect to Ms. Bryan for wanting to do things the old fashioned way.
Is Dollicia bonafied wifey material or just a smash and dash?
