Lil Wayne Becomes 1st Rapper Since 2Pac To Have #1 Album While In Jail. Birdman Says Weezy To Start Recording On Plane Flight Home Thursday

Love him or hate him, you have to respect Lil Wayne's musical accomplishments. Weezy recently became the first rapper in fifteen years to release a number 1 album while behind bars with 'I Am Not A Human Being.' The album has moved 323,000 units since it's November 27 release. The late Tupac Shakur accomplished the feat in 1995 with 'Me Against The World', which featured two of his signature songs in "Dear Mama" and "Shed So Many Tears." 'I Am Not A Human Being' doesn't have one song that comes close to those two classics, but hitting number one is a great accomplish nontheless. Wayne gets released from Rikers Island this Thursday November 4. Birdman told Rolling Stone that Weezy will start recording new songs on the flight home. twitter-5d.gif
