Video After The Jump On Monday October 4, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana Deputy Chris Guidry responds to a call from an undervover cop of a drug buy. When Guidry gets to the scene, he sees the man, 28 year old Javon "Slim" Rakestrau, ID'd from the drug buy, walking down the street. Guidry gets out of his patrol car and asks Javon for I.D. Javon starts to walk away, saying he would get his identification from inside his home. The Deputy stops him, telling him to put his hands on the hood of the patrol car. At that point Javon reaches into a right pocket, saying he was going to call the police himself. At the same time he's reaching into a left pocket for something. Guidry would later say he wasn't sure what Javon was reaching for, so he attempts to take him to the ground. Javon resists, starts yelling for his mother, while continuing to say he had done nothing wrong. When he breaks away from the officer, he is then tased. Within seconds of being tased, Javon's breathing becomes labored. An ambulance is called, but Javon died in the hospital. It turns out he was reaching into his left pocket for weed, probably to hide it from the cop. An autopsy is underway to determine the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, Javon's death has caused an outrage in the community. Local residents are calling the polce there killers. "If you're walking through the neighborhood and the cops see you, they'll pull up, search you and ask questions," one local said. "They want to try to intimidate us." Gerald Hopkins, a friend of Rakestrau, said Guidry could have used better force. He said a stun gun wasn't necessary for the situation. "They're trained for situations like that," he said. "It was not proper force." Lt. Craig Stansbury didn't see it that way at all. "The state of Louisiana has a force continuum law, which states that the officer is required and able to go one step above the offender's actions. To resist an officer or resist arrest. And that's exactly what Deputy Guidry was doing." says Stansbury Check out the video and tell me what you think. Was the cop out of control or just doing his job? twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump Within a space of a year, Gucci Mane went from being a much-buzzed-about MC to another, if exceptional, inmate at Georgia's Fulton County Jail. After wrapping up a six-month prison bid in May for violating his probation, Gucci got on his grind for his latest LP, The Appeal, which dropped late last month. The Atlanta mic-ripper said the obviously difficult circumstances of his prison stint affected his new music. "I changed a lot in there," Davis recently told the Los Angeles Times. "I know this is serious now and I have a lot to get off my chest. This record is painful and gothic and epic, but it's the soundtrack of my past." Although Gucci is no stranger to a government-issued jumpsuit, having served time in 2006 and 2009, the MC said he had to adjust to certain aspects of life outside the prison walls. "It's strange to go from being locked up to a month later everyone saying, 'Gucci, let's party!' " he said. "But I lost so much in there that I came out with a much sharper focus." As one of many high-profile lyricists entangled in the U.S. penal system, Gucci also reflected that bringing street elements into the music game is an issue for MCs. "(Prison) is a real problem in hip-hop — it's a struggle to let that culture go. You can't let the ideology of the street get you in trouble," he said, adding, "I just wish I didn't have to go to jail to learn that. But sometimes we have to sacrifice and be responsible." Armed with newfound insight, Gucci recently told MTV News that the just-released Appeal LP is a candid expression of his personal experiences and perspectives. "The Appeal, I think, is my best album to date. I had a great time making the album," Gucci said. "It's my last five months recorded of my life. My take on things, my principles, my morals. That's all it is. I just spoke it on 15 tracks, so I think people are gonna love it. If they ain't got it, they need to get it, or they'll hear about it."

Video After The Jump What happens when two future hip hop giants face off as young battle rappers? Busta Rhymes recalls such an occasion, when he and Jay-Z battled for the cafeteria throne back in high school. "Me, Biggie [Smalls] and Jay went to school at the same time," Busta tells RapFix host Sway. "We [all] went to George Westinghouse Technical & Vocational High School in Brooklyn. One day, somebody came up to me and was like, 'Yo, Hov is in the cafeteria'. They wasn't calling him Hov at the time, they was calling him Jay. 'You wanna step to him on some rhyme sh*t?' So I'm like 'aight lets go'. So we go in there. At the time when we was rhyming it was really a speed rap, that was the style at the time that was really the thing to do. So I knew how to freak it, and he knew how to freak it, so it was like 'lets go toe to toe with it then.' At the time he was so ill with it because of the group he was with. Jaz-O and all of them and that [style] was their thing. He kind of got the best of the situation. I gotta give it up to him. At the time he was so ill with the speed raps and his arsenal was so long that he had one or two more than I did." Busta remembers the battle so vividly because it was the first time he took an L. "It was the first time I lost a battle that mattered. The homie always exemplified greatness as an emcee. His ability to play with words. The punchlines and the metaphors and how to bounce syllables around. He was a scientist with it." Too bad everyone didn't have phone cameras at the time, that had to be epic. Wow, can you imagine Notorious B.I.G., Busta and Jigga at the same high school?

Video After The Jump If you have ever made the mistake of cheating on your woman, you know it's hard to keep it a secret for long. That wasn't the case for Shigeo Tokuda. A 76 year old married grandfather, who just happened to moonlight as a porn star. Tokudo got his start as a man whore several years ago. He was approached by a man in a porn store who told him he would be perfect for XXX films because he had the face of a pervert. What started out as a few small cameo roles has turned into a full time job for the retired travel agent, who earns $400-$500 dollars a day starring in "elder porn." Don't get it twisted though, "elder porn" isn't just with older women. Tokudo is blowing the backs out of young twenty something year olds as well.

His family might not have ever found out his "side profession", had it not been for a mistake by a production company that faxed the script to 'Prohibited Elderly Care Vol. 20' to his home. His 35 year old daughter read it and his cover was blown. You might think Tokudo would have been kicked out of the house by his wife, but that wasn't the case. "My wife lets me do whatever I want now that I’m retired,” he says. “She’s just concerned about my health and tells me not to work too hard.” After having starred in over 350 skin flicks, including the ridiculously titled 'Maniac Training of Lolitas', Tokudo has no plans to retire anytime soon. twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump "The bottles are identical and I am not young anymore, but I am not senile. I just did this because these are my precious eye drops." That's what Irmgard Holm told MyFoxPhoenix after going through a nightmarish experience, that landed her in the hospital with doctors trying to pry her eyes open after she accidentally superglued them shut. Holm, who had cataract surgery last year, reached for what she thought was eye drop medication, but instead was actually superglue. When she felt a burning sensation, she realized something was very wrong. Holm attempted to wash the glue out of her eyes, but by that time they were sealed shut. "It was a nightmare and a half," Holm says. Paramedics and hospital staff rushed to remove the glue before her eyes suffered major damage. "They had to cut off the glue substance. It was all hard, and it was in the eye and just everywhere. I couldn't even see," said a still shaken Holm. She wants companies that make superglue to change their packaging so something like this doesn't happen to more people. "You can go infection, blindness, removal of the eye on something like this, please help." My only question is, what the hell are the eyedrops and glue doing next to each other in the first place? twitter-5d.gif

It's hard to keep a poker face over this news: Hillary Clinton barely outranks Lady GaGa on a list of the world's most powerful women. The globe-trotting Secretary of State landed the No. 5 spot in this year's Forbes.com ratings, just two notches above the outrageous chart-topping singer. The former senator - known for her pants suits - ranked 36th last year. The former Stefani Germanotta - known for her all-meat outfit - didn't make the cut in 2009. Lady GaGa moved from the Top 40 to the Forbes' top 10 thanks to the introduction of a new process in ranking the world's 100 most powerful women. The new system mixed an earnings component with a "buzz factor," as opposed to past lists focused more on wealth and executive position. Soaring to the top spot was First Lady Michelle Obama, who was ranked a distant No. 40 in 2009. Second was Krafts Food CEO Irene Rosenfeld, followed by the ubiquitous Oprah Winfrey at No. 3, German Chancellor Angela Merkel at No. 4 and Clinton at No. 5. Merkel was named the previous year's most powerful woman. Rounding out the top 10 was a mix of business and show business: Pepsico CEO Indra Nooyi, Lady GaGa, Westpac CEO Gail Kelly, singer Beyonce Knowles and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. Other bold-faced names included Sarah Palin (No. 16), Angelina Jolie (21), Arianna Huffington (28) and Chelsea Handler (33). There were three news anchors: CBS' Katie Couric (22), MSNBC's Rachel Maddow (50) and ABC's Christiane Amanpour. And there were two sisters: Tennis stars Serena (55) and Venus Williams (60). "The women on our list, through their respective realms of power and influence, are shaping many of the agenda-setting conversations of our day," said Moira Forbes, the vice president and publisher of Forbes Woman. "They have built companies and brands, sometimes by non-traditional mean, and they have broken through gender barriers in areas of commerce, politics, sports and media." The full list is available at www.forbes.com/powerwomen. Source: NY Daily News twitter-5d.gif

PHILADELPHIA — Rapper Beanie Sigel (SEE'-gul) is facing criminal charges for alleged tax fraud. Federal prosecutors in Philadelphia say the entertainer born Dwight Grant made $1.5 million from 2002 to 2004, but filed no tax returns. Sigel has served time on drug and weapons charges, and for prescription drug use while on federal probation. But he has also led anti-violence rallies in his hometown and spoken to high school students about life choices. Sigel's albums include "The Truth," "The B. Coming" and "The Solution." The tax charges come in a federal information filed Wednesday. That typically indicates a defendant's cooperation. Sigel's lawyer did not immediately return a call for comment. It wouldn't be basketball without politicians Remember NBA Jam's bizarre roster of characters featuring everyone from Warren Moon to Bill Clinton? The upcoming NBA Jam for Wii isn't about to disappoint in that regard, with its presidential qualifications fulfilled neatly by one Barack Obama and other unexpected players hidden away. As well as Obama, fans of politics and basketball can burn up the court with Sarah Palin, Dick Cheney and Joe Biden. As existing players, the characters' faces are based on real photos, with Cheney's "Darth Vader snarl" making it into the game intact. The game also includes the Beastie Boys and an extra, "super secret" musician character who supposedly will only be revealed when unlocked. Certain classic NBA Jam players also return, with Karl "The Mailman" Malone and Patrick Ewing back in the game, although Charles Barkley and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will be sadly absent. North American gamers can find NBA Jam on their store shelves today, with a European launch to follow. Source: Nintendo Life twitter-5d.gif

Somewhere, probably on a beach, country sand bum Kenny Chesney is likely celebrating the #1 debut of his latest album, Hemingway's Whiskey, which will top the Billboard 200 chart next week thanks to sales of 183,000. He easily beat out the week's other top debut, the digital release of incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being album, which sold 110,000 copies, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan. The physical release of Weezy's album, with bonus tracks, is due on October 12. The pair lead a stampede of new faces on the charts this week, which also include Gucci Mane at #4 with Georgia's Most Wanted (60,000) and guitar legend Eric Clapton at #6 with Clapton (47,000). The rest of the top 10: Zac Brown Band, You Get What You Give (#3, 70,000), Eminem, Recovery (#5, 59,000), Trey Songz, Passion, Pain & Pleasure (#7, 42,000), Linkin Park, A Thousand Suns (#8, 42,000), Maroon 5, Hands All Over (#9, 41,000, down 71 percent in week two) and Selena Gomez & the Scene, A Year Without Rain (#10, 38,000). Just outside the top, Jimmy Eat World land at #11 with Invented (38,000), Lil Boosie is just behind at #13 with the aptly titled Incarcerated (30,000), rock icon Neil Young comes in at #14 with Le Noise (30,000) and Nine Inch Nails maestro Trent Reznor skates into the #20 position with his score to the Facebook move, "The Social Network." You would think that Lil Wayne being in jail would give him a break from drama in the outside world, but that's not the case. Boombox is reporting that Weezy is about to be served a summons to appear in federal court for failure to pay Atlanta producer Mali Boy. Mali claims he has not received payment for the song "Mrs Officer" that appeared on the multi platinum selling 'Tha Carter III' album. This lawsuit comes on the heels of Bangladesh's claim that he hasn't been paid for "A Milli". And even more recently "Lollipop" producer Jim Jonsin told AllHipHop he hasn't seen a dime for his work either. "We’re still trying to get paid. Clearly, I don’t understand what the issue is. They sold the record, they’ve collected the checks, they’ve even gotten huge advances, they’re buying Bugattis, and spending all kinds of money. But the producers and people that created the songs are not getting paid. And so we’re going through some things now in hopes that it gets fixed. That thing was like the most downloaded song in history, so pay the people who made it. It’s not your record, it’s our record," Jonsin said. Clearly Cash Money is making a lot of money, so none of this makes sense. I've never heard of a label not paying this many different producers for their work. Bangladesh has said recently he is going to put in some work on 'Pink Friday', Nicki Minaj's debut album, but make no mistake he's still trying collect what is owed to him. "Everything is being worked out through the legal process," he told BoomBox. "It's really out of his control honestly. I mean he don't run the label, he don't own the label -- he's just on the label." Lil Wayne will be a free man November 5. twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump Randy Moss' improbable return to Minnesota is about to become reality. The Vikings and the Patriots have agreed to a blockbuster trade that will send the Pro Bowl wide receiver back to Minnesota for the Vikings' 2011 third-round pick on Wednesday, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. When the trade is completed, the Patriots will have two picks in each of the first four rounds of the 2011 draft -- their own picks and a first-round pick from Oakland, a second-round pick from Carolina, the third-round pick from Minnesota and a fourth-rounder from Denver. A source close to Moss told ESPN NFL senior analyst Chris Mortensen that Patriots coach Bill Belichick informed Moss of the trade on Wednesday morning by telephone. The source said the conversation was cordial, with both men expressing appreciation for the time they spent together. Moss will report to the Vikings on Wednesday and is said to be "excited" about returning to his original team with Brett Favre at quarterback, the source said. No contract extension talks have been conducted, but it is expected the two sides will have a discussion later in the day, the source said. FoxSports.com earlier reported the trade talks. The seven-time Pro Bowl receiver is in the final year of his four-year contract with New England and has voiced his displeasure with being in limbo. "When you have done so much and put so much work in, it kind of feels like I am not wanted," Moss said before the season began on Sept. 6. "I am taking that in stride and playing my final year out and whatever the future holds is what it holds, but it is kind of a bad feeling -- feeling not wanted. It is not like my production has gone down." A few days later he apologized for the timing of his comments and said he loves playing in New England. But the Boston Herald, citing an unnamed source, reported on Tuesday that Moss wanted out of New England after a Week 1 win on Sept. 12, telling his agent to ask the Patriots to trade him. Although the Patriots crushed the Dolphins on Monday night, Moss did not have a catch -- the first time that's happened for him in a New England uniform. Moss and Belichick did not speak or even see each other on Tuesday, a league source told Schefter. Source: ESPN twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump Bugatti's, million dollar watches, now their own credit card. Looks like Young Money is stuntin a little bit. Well, the credit cards are actually debit cards branded with the YM logo. Mack Maine told Boombox that fans will soon have the opportunity to cop one of their own. Possibly with the logo of their favorite crew member on it. "It is true, so make sure the fans and the people that are interested sign up. It's a prepaid card. We're not starting it out with each member having their own card just yet. It's just pretty much a Young Money card and then we'll branch out to like Nicki Minaj pink cards, maybe having Wayne and Drake cards being like the black cards. You know, just different levels of it. Maybe have Twist and Chuckee for the younger crowd. We'll make sure each member has it as we learn the ropes." Mack said. While on the set of Mack Maine's upcoming video "All In One Swipe", Mack and Bow Wow show off their black and platinum YM cards. Once the cards are available, stores like Target will offer discounts to customers who use them instead of cash.
