Chief Keef was booted from his Highland Park, Illinois home earlier today. The rapper had run into issues keeping up with his rent. At one point he fell $30,000 behind. When he appeared in court on May 7th, an order for forcible entry and detainer was filed, starting the eviction process.

Keef, real name Keith Cozart, finally reached an agreement to pay off his debt, but by then it was too late to prevent him from being kicked out.

12350884294?profile=original

Dr. Bal K. Bansal denied Keef was being evicted, telling the Chicago Tribune the rapper was a good tenant and a nice guy.

"This is mutual," Bansal said. "It is not an eviction."

Despite Bansal's denials, police confirmed Keef was being forced to leave. The "I Don't Like" hit maker's neighbors were thrilled to see him go.

12350884679?profile=original

"We're very happy to have them leave and we're doing nothing to impede their exit. We just want them to leave as quickly as possible," said neighbor Ken Cooper. "We had to call the police for a fight. There was a gunshot. I would say [the police were called] several times a week."

Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan just released his debut album entitled Where We Come From. Check out his collaboration with Pusha T, "Hustle," produced by Dre Skull. Order the album now from iTunes https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/where-we-come-from/id882040225,

Where We Come From is the debut album from Jamaican superstar Popcaan. Executive produced by Dre Skull and featuring productions from Dre Skull, Dubbel Dutch, Jamie Roberts, Anju Blaxx and Adde Instrumentals, Popcaan's first full length offering sees his signature melodies and uplifting tones on thirteen original tracks. As musicologist Wayne Marshall writes,

“Where We Come From” gives voice, as the best reggae does, to the contradictions of life in a society rife with inequities and yet so rich. Whether odes to the ghetto or the good life, Popcaan's lyrics bring realist portraits and utopian visions into dynamic tension. Songs about struggle and sex and happiness occupy the same space because they do. And whatever the topic, Popcaan's infectious positivity comes through.”

50 Cent just announced he will be the executive producer of a forthcoming movie about the Black Mafia Family (B.M.F.)

The life of the B.M.F. family would be hard to believe if it wasn't true. The organization was started by brothers Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory and Terry "Southwest T" Flenory.

12350872464?profile=original

Big Meech

The organization allegedly ran a huge drug operation from 1990 to 2005. They were known for their flashy lifestyle and lavish parties. Prosecutors said they made over $270 million.

The D.E.A. eventually brought the brothers down and arrested them in 2005. In 2008 they were sentenced to 30 years to life in federal prison.

No word on when production on the film will start. Keep it locked here for updates.

Video And Pics After The Jump

(CNN) -- One student was killed at the hands of a shooter at a high school near Portland, Oregon, on Tuesday morning, police agencies said.

The suspected shooter is also dead, the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said. It was not immediately clear how the shooter died.

12350879281?profile=original

There was only one shooter involved in the incident, police said.

About an hour after the shooting, Oregon State Police said the area was secure and the situation was contained.

The shooting happened at about 8 a.m. (11 a.m. ET) at Reynolds High School in Troutdale, about 12 miles east of Portland, said Sue Strickland of the Troutdale Police Department.

A semiautomatic weapon was involved in the shooting, she said.

"Today is a very tragic day for the city of Troutdale and Reynolds School District," Troutdale Police Chief Scott Anderson said.

Classes were in session at the time, Strickland said. It wasn't clear how many people were injured, and details about what led to the shooting weren't immediately available.

12350879666?profile=original

A couple of SWAT teams responded, Strickland said.

Anxious parents waited for news that their children were safe. One couple, Craig Tuholski and Tawnjia Reimer, were talking with CNN affiliate KGW, about how agonizing the wait for news was, when Tuholski's cell phone rang.

12350879698?profile=original

"Is that Chris?" Reimer asked before letting out a sigh of relief. "Oh, thank God."

"That's what we were waiting for," Tuholski said after hanging up.

Troutdale has a population of about 16,400, according to the Census Bureau.

12350880286?profile=original

"My thoughts and prayers are with students, staff and the Reynolds High School community during this difficult time," Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber said via Twitter.

CNN first learned of the shooting through reports on Twitter.

CNN's Stefan Simon contributed to this report.

With Grammy-Award winning recording artist T.I. as Executive Producer, this powerful and uplifting Oxygen series, 'Sisterhood Of Hip Hop,' follows the next generation of female hip-hop artists Siya, Nyemiah Supreme, Diamond, Brianna Perry and Bia as they live, love and work towards their dream of becoming the next big breakout star, which has always been a man’s game and these ladies are rewriting the rules of the music scene. Discovered and mentored by hip-hop icons, these creative and ambitious women are making it while breaking boundaries and defying doubters. While they realize that their lives are a work in progress, they are at a crossroads, and are finding their unique voices. Can they support and collaborate with one another in order to make their dreams a reality?

NYEMIAH SUPREME @NyemiahSupreme

12350868477?profile=original

Jamaica, Queens native Nyemiah Supreme began her career as a back-up dancer in the shadows of such well-known acts as Chris Brown and Lil Mama. After high school, she spent a year and a half working as Juelz Santana’s intern, where she got to see some of hip hop’s most notable names drop beats and rhymes in a studio setting. Inspired by her experience and a serendipitous encounter with Jim Jones, she got a break when she was asked to step up to the mic on Jones’ single “Everybody Jones.” In late 2012, Nyemiah had a late night chance studio meeting with super producer Timbaland, where he put her on the spot to write a few verses and from there took her under his wing. Today, Nyemiah has two mix-tapes under her belt, a new EP, and over half a million views on her YouTube videos. She released her single, “Rock ‘n’ Roll” with Timbaland appearing on the hook, handling the production, and appearing in the video back-to-back with Nyemiah. A former background dancer thrust to the foreground, Nyemiah Supreme stands a serious chance of having a career that lives up to her bold moniker but has a lot to prove to herself, her mentor and her fans.

BIA @BiaBrokeMyHeart

12350868686?profile=original

A breaking new artist from Miami who sacrificed everything to follow her dreams and better learn her craft from Famlay and Pharrell, Bia is the new girl on the scene.  Ever since she was in a life-threatening motorcycle accident, Bia has taken life by the bullhorns and refused to let go.  She’s dropped everything for her music and is confident it will pay off.  Being on Pharrell’s team has allowed her to be in the right place at the right time landing placements with TI, Jennifer Hudson, and Usher.  Although she has gained the respect of Pharell’s co-sign, Bia knows that all eyes are on her and she’s got to deliver.  Rarely do you get more than one shot – especially as a female emcee in this industry.

BRIANNA PERRY @BriannatheYRB

12350869283?profile=original

Brianna Perry has been around the music business for as long as she can remember and is ready to show the world what a lifetime of hip hop education can do for your career. Brianna’s skills have been recognized by top artists like Beyonce, Trina and Missy Elliot and she’s been praised by press outlets such as The New York Times, Time Magazine, Complex, Vibe, The Source, XXL, and The Miami Herald for her unorthodox style.   Brianna is going to do more than tell the world what she is capable of, she is going to show them with her debut album. The gorgeous MC has charisma, style, and even dance skill to go along with her lyrical talent. Describing her own music as “refreshing, young and relatable to her fans,” Brianna is restoring innocence to the female rap game and she refuses to compromise the femininity and the edge she needs to survive in today’s hip hop world.

DIAMOND @DiamondAtl

12350869486?profile=original

Diamond enjoyed the sweet taste of success at age 14 with her former crew, Crime Mob, whose track “Knuck If You Buck” went platinum in 2004. Signed to King Of Crunk mentor Lil Jon's label BME, the group's success continued with the singles "Rock Yo Hips ft Lil Scrappy" and “Stilettoes." Since leaving Crime Mob in 2007 to strike out on her own, she has worked with hip hop luminaries such as Ludacris, Trina, Eve, Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane. Her singles “Lotta Money” and “Loose Screws” left enough of an impression to make her a nominee for “Best Female Hip Hop Artist” at the 2011 and 2012 BET Awards. In 2014, she signed to Polo Grounds Music joining a roster that includes Pitbull & A$AP Rocky, and with the release of her debut solo album this year, Diamond hopes to climb back to the top of the charts, a decade after Crime Mob made waves in the hip hop scene.

SIYA @SIYA

12350870284?profile=original

Born in California and raised in Bed-Stuy, a legendary Brooklyn hotbed of influential hip hop music, Siya overcame many challenges early on including a drug-addicted mother and incarcerated father, as well as her own run-ins with the law. Siya’s true support came from her grandmother who took her in, but also from the streets of Bed-Stuy.  Music became an outlet for her and after moving to Atlanta to pursue her dream, she eventually built a rep for herself and caught the attention of many major labels and well-known artists. While some people in the industry were afraid of how an openly gay female rapper would fit in the genre, Siya remained determined and refused to compromise who she is, always staying true to her own unique voice and style.   One of Complex magazine’s rappers to watch out for in 2012, word around the industry is that Siya is the next big thing.

To introduce the up-and-coming stars of hip hop, Oxygen will air a preview special on Tuesday, July 22 at 8:15 PM ET/PT, giving viewers a look at what makes these five women worthy of the sisterhood.

The show premieres on Tuesday, August 12 at 9 PM ET/PT.
