Rihanna appeared to make a political statement via Twitter this morning, but quickly deleted it. The singer tweeted "#FreePalestine." Within eight minutes it had vanished from her timeline.
"She deleted it because it was never meant to be tweeted," a source told TMZ."She didn't even realize it was a tweet until she started hearing from her fans."
According to the report, Rihanna was reading about the conflict between Isreal and the Hamas-led Gaza when she clicked on a link. The next thing she knew her fans were asking her why she was pro-Palestine.
"[Rihanna] is pro-peace," said the source, "She doesn't want innocent people dying."
Tweets don't usually get sent out by accident, but that's Riri's story. You buying it?
