At a birthday celebration for 38 Spesh his older brother, Bryan Harrell Sr. aka Loverboy, gave a Rochester history lesson to all in attendance. Loverboy recounts how he and Spesh got their start in the rap game and in the streets. This candid account details the influence Loverboy had on Spesh’s life and business endeavors and accounts for Spesh’s rise to success as a recording artist and business man.

Sadly, Loverboy was shot and killed October 1, 2022 on his home turf of Chili Ave. in Rochester, NY.

R.I.P. Loverboy

My condolences to 38 Spesh and his family.

Ariel Castro Held On $8 Million Bond; 2 Brothers Freed In Decade Long Kidnapping, Rape Case Of 3 Cleveland Women [Video]

Ariel Castro appeared in Cleveland Municipal Court Thursday morning and was ordered held on $8 million bond. Judge Lauren Moore calculated bail at $2 million per victim, including the little girl.

The 52-year old is charged with kidnapping Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and a six-year-old girl whom Berry gave birth to while she was being held captive. He is also charged with raping DeJesus, Knight and Berry.

Castro held two of the women captive in his Cleveland for a more than a decade. The other woman was held for close to a decade

Ariel's brothers Pedro Castro, 54, and Onil Castro, 50, were released from custody. The two had been arrested after the women were freed on Monday. Investigator don't believe they had anything to do with the kidnappings.

Ariel has not yet entered a formal plea.

Video After The Jump Back in July we reported the story of homo thug Antoine Dodson. An Alabama man man who saved his sister from an attack by an intruder, then hilariously threatened the would-be rapist on the evening news. Now Antoine is getting the last laugh, as a song spoofing his threats has gone viral and is charting on the Billboard Hot 100. The "Bed Intruder Song" made it's debut at # 89 on the Hot 100. It also debuts on Hot Digital Songs at No. 49 with 30,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Antoine and his sister, Kelly Dodson, who was attacked get 50% of the song's profits. The Gregory Brothers from youtube's AutotuneTheNews are responsible for making the spoof. Evan Gregory spoke to Billboard about the song's unlikely success. "Why I think people are latching onto it is frankly quite similar to why they latch onto a classic ballad or pop song that tops the charts -- because there's real emotion behind it that people identify with, even if, in this case, it was for unusual reasons," he said Congrats to Antoine and his sister for turning what could have been a family disaster into a money making venture.
