According to The Blast, Bronx-bred rapper French Montana has been sued for sexual battery. The woman anonymously filed a lawsuit under the pseudonym Jane Doe against French, his employee, Mansour Bennouna, and his Coke Boy Records label, the report states.
In the lawsuit, French and Bennouna are reportedly being accused of assault and battery, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent hiring, supervision and retention, and negligence. The woman is seeking unspecified damages for “extreme emotional distress, anxiety, flashbacks and depression” she has suffered as a result.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, the woman states that French Montana invited her back to his home after they met at a recording studio on March 28, 2018. Once they got there, the woman alleges French and Bennouna both asked her to take a shot at around 6 a.m. She claims she blacked out shortly after and was rendered incapacitated. This is when she says several men “came in and out of the bedroom” and sexually assaulted her. The report states that she alleges French was one of those men.
The Blast adds that around 1:30 p.m., Doe says she “regained consciousness,” and awoke to find Bennouna “spooning” her. She also said that she “felt a pain in her pelvis, lower back and vagina,” and left the house in distress. Upon leaving French’s home, the woman had a rape kit adminstered at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. The investigation reportedly showed the presence of semen. She then reported the incident to police and accused the Bronx rapper of sexually assaulting her.
The woman claims she’s been forced to put her modeling and acting aspirations behind her because of the incident.
At the time of this reporting, French Montana nor his team have publicly responded to the allegations being levied against him.

1. Where are you from? Have your surroundings shaped you in a creative sense, and in what way(s)? I’m from Ithaca New York. I’m a product of my environment in every way, shape, and form. It’s not the most rural, or dangerous environment-but I grew up through some trials and tribulations that a lot of people should never deal with. My upbringing forced me to use rap as an outlet; the way I think was molded by experiences I’ve lived through and, and things I’ve seen with my own eyes.
2. What did you start doing first, producing or rapping? How did you get started? Rapping. I don’t produce at all. I wrote my verse verse at 6, and I recorded my first song at 11.
3. What was your introduction to the underground scene? I started putting videos on YouTube when I was 12 years old. Getting recognition, no matter how bad I was, and becoming more visible for people to see what I was doing. This was when people first started to take notice.
4. Who have you produced for? Who would you like to produce for? Nobody
5. Do you have anyone that you consider your mentor? How has their help or advice shaped you? My boy Mr. McBean. He’s taught me a lot about business etiquette, routine, consistency and just being an artist overall. I’m forever grateful for that dude.
6. What is one experience in life that, without it, you wouldn’t be the artist you are today? I got shot in 2018, and it motivated me to the next level. I came to the realization that this is quite literally door die, and I need to go harder than ever before. There are 1000 situations I could bring up; but currently, this is the most impactful.
7. Tell me about the first song you ever made. Was it a success or a failure in your opinion? It was neither. It was a learning experience, and something I used to grow. It was at a local community center, with two peers; the song wasn’t good-but it was decent for how young we were.
8. What do you hope to accomplish this year? I plan on setting the foundation to takeover for the next decade. I will release multiple projects, singles, and videos. While doing that, I will increase my global footprint and visibility. I plan to make music my primary income.

A man suspected of plotting to blow up a Missouri hospital and was killed in a shootout with FBI agents was apparently frustrated with local government action to stop the spread of coronavirus, the FBI said Wednesday.
Timothy Wilson, 36, died Tuesday in Belton, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City, after members of the FBI’s joint terrorism task force attempted to arrest him. The FBI says Wilson was the subject of a “months-long domestic terrorism investigation."
It’s not clear whether Wilson was wounded by FBI agents or if he died by suicide. Officials say he was armed and after being shot was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The incident will be investigated by the FBI's inspection division, standard procedure for shootings involving agents.
FBI officials describe Wilson as a potentially violent extremist known to express racial and religious hatred and antigovernment sentiment. They say that while under surveillance, Wilson wanted to commit an act of terrorism, specifically a bombing, and had considered several targets, including a school with a large population of black students, a synagogue and a mosque.
But as the coronavirus pandemic began to take hold in the United States and local officials in Missouri issued stay-at-home orders, FBI officials said Wilson became aggravated.
"With the current health crisis, Wilson decided to accelerate his plan to use a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device in an attempt to cause severe harm and mass casualties," the FBI said in a statement.
Wilson considered various targets and settled on an area hospital, the statement said. The hospital was not identified.
Wilson had taken all the necessary steps to acquire the materials needed to build an explosive device but was always under close watch by agents, the FBI said.
The shooting occurred when the FBI tried to arrest Wilson when he arrived to pick up what he thought was a car bomb. But there was no actual bomb and authorities say no members of the public were ever in danger during the investigation.
Belton is about 20 miles south of downtown Kansas City.
A phone number belonging to someone associated with Wilson could not immediately be found Wednesday night.
As of Wednesday, there have been 356 cases of the coronavirus illness COVID-19 in Missouri and eight deaths, according to the state health department.
