When Lupe Fiasco decides to vent, he goes full throttle. The Chicago rapper is fed up with today's MTV, and wants the old one back. Lupe took to Twitter today, and went in on the Viacom owned network. Peep some of what he had to say below.

"I think I've been very good natured with you. I personally know several employees of your company. You guys know me as well. I'm confused Where is the true music journalism??? where is Suchin?!! What happened? Where are the honest critiques of cultural expression? For it's not about being RIGHT it's about being HOT Fame over self-awareness and virtue Hedonism over self respect Celebrity over cerebral. A destroying force in our culture and society just like rest of the useless vapid spectacles that pour out of our tv's and radios What are we supposed to be learning from you? What is your point? Do you have a point beyond corporate sponsored distraction? Lil Wayne Is # 7 On MTV's Hottest MC's In The Game List [Video]

Video After The Jump The # 7 slot on MTV's Hottest MC's In The Game List goes to Lil Wayne. While some may disagree with this placement, what can't be denied is Weezy's work ethic. The CEO of Young Money Records has been in jail since May, but it doesn't seem like he's been gone that long.. The man prepared well for his prison sentence, leaving his fans lots of quality music and videos to hold them over until his November 2010 release from Rikers Island. In 2010 Wayne released two solo albums. The rock influenced 'Rebirth' which has gone gold. And 'I Am Not A Human Being' which just hit # 1 on Billboards Hot 100 chart this week. Add to that the countless videos he shot before going in, "Drop The World" ft Eminem from 'Rebirth', "No Love", another Eminem collaboration that appeared on Em's 'Recovery' cd. Also "Da Da Da", "Knockout" ft Nicki Minaj and "I Am Not A Human Being". Well you get the picture, dude put in work. He actually shot nine videos in one weekend at one point in Febrary. So Wayne gets a well deserved nod at # 7 on the list.....congrats.

Walmart Denies Kanye Album Cover Ban

A few days ago, Kanye said his album cover was banned from retail and implied that Walmart had a role in it. EW reached out to the bargain chain and they said they never saw the artwork.“We’re excited about Kanye West’s new album and we look forward to carrying it in our stores on November 22nd. As always, it’s our standard practice to carry the edited parental advisory version. We did not reject the cover artwork and it was never presented to us to view.”Well, that’s strange. (AllHipHop News) West Coast veteran Ice Cube has revealed that any possible issues with rappers who represent the "new" West Coast rappers have been resolved.Beef between Ice Cube and a variety of new artists like Crooked I, Glasses Malone, Nipsey Hu$sle and Jay Rock seemed to be brewing this past Spring, when it was rumored that the new rappers were preparing diss records against Ice Cube.The issue began when it was reported that "New West" rappers were unhappy with Ice Cube for his lack of involvement in helping to establish a new batch of West coast rappers in Hip-Hop.All that may change, as Ice Cube has revealed to AllHipHop.com that their issues have been settled."All that s**t is squashed, [we] are keeping the unity on the West Coast," Ice Cube told AllHipHop.com. Video After The Jump A football game between two amateur teams in Canada got ugly really fast, when players started scapping with fans. The St. Leonard Cougars and the Hamilton Hurricanes were playing at Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday October 16, when all hell broke loose. Players from the Cougars claims fans were hurling insults and bottles at them, so they went into the stands and went ape sh*t. Players are seen punching fans, swinging helmets and milk crates, stomping on people's heads. This looks like a fight between two gangs instead of players and fans. The coach of the St Leonard team, Jeff Rached says he warned the referees in the second quarter things might get out of control reports UK Metro. "I asked the head referee to get security in the second quarter," Rached said. "Look, I’ve been coaching football for a long time. You can’t have people pulling that sh*t back there and have nothing happen ... Drinking, insults, throwing bottles and water… These aren’t professional players that realize, “Oh, if I do something, they can sue me for millions.”’ The fight lasted over three minutes. Video After The Jump Due to a recent increase in suicides by people who have been bullied for being gay, different or having their personal lives exposed over the internet. The media has started to shed more light on a huge problem that has been going on for years. Popular but controversial blogger, Perez Hilton has just been exposed by Khloe Kardashian as being her personal tormentor. Perez asked Khloe and other celebrities to make "It Gets Better" videos to help people who have been bullied. Khloe took the opportunity to turn the tables on Perez for the years he has made her life hell. She let the world know just how much he has hurt her personally with name calling. "For me, Perez has been my personal bully," Khloe says. "I've been bullied basically my entire life. I've been compared to my sisters since the day I was born. I don't look exactly like them, I'm different from them, I'm bigger than them, but I'm me," she continued. "I've always struggled with my height, with my weight, with my skin color. Everybody has something to say. And Perez is a major factor in my adult life. As an adult I thought that bullying would be done, but in my world it's not done because I live in a world where there's magazines and blogs and people feel like they're allowed to criticize me in the meanest way. Perez has given me the nickname of the transvestite, as the tranny. Writing fugly on my face [pics], things that are very hurtful to me. Then it also lets his followers think 'oh that's my name now' and they can call me that and they can attack me. Perez definitely has made my self esteem lower. at times. He's definitely made me feel insecure about things and made me not even want to gou out. Because I knew the next day, if I took one bad picture he would have something written about me on his website that definitely hurts my feelings Perez is always quick to scream and cry foul when he feels he's been wronged, but then he turns around and treats people like dirt publicly. Khloe hasn't been the only one he's picked on. Singer Lily Allen has also been one of his favorite targets, as well as Miley Cyrus. Perez was the one who posted the pic of Miley getting out of a car when it appeared like she wasn't wearing underwear. He's made a promise to stop bullying people, and the "It Gets Better" campaign is a good start. Now let's see if he keeps his word or continues to be a hypocritical e-thug. twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump Kanye West was a guest on the Ellen Degeneres Show today. Ye' talked about the aftermath that followed the Taylor Swift VMA incident. "Just for your whole world to completely crash, off of a moment of sincerity, alcohol or whatever it is." That comment made both Kanye and the audience laugh. Ellen joked, "those don't really go together, usually the alcohol rules out the sincerity part." He told Ellen he stopped recording music after the incident, moved to Japan to escape the paparazzi, before moving to Rome to clear his head. He explained that he hadn't had time to grieve his mom's passing and hadn't taken a break since he became successful. After Rome, he moved to Hawaii and started recording his new album. As far as crashing an award show's stage again, Ye said that will never happen. "I feel in some ways like I'm a soldier of culture," Kanye said. "And I realize no one wants that to be my job, and I'll never go on stage again. I'll never sit in an awards show again. But will I feel convicted about things that really meant stuff to culture, that constantly get ignored for years? I'm sorry I will. I cannot lie about it in order to sell records" Before leaving, Ellen wanted to know what was up with Kanye's new diamond teeth.
