Considered a radio pioneer by many, STAR has set precedents on the urban landscape and was recently inducted into News One's "Top 20 Black Radio Jockeys Of All Time."

STAR & BUC WILD made the national stage on MTV (1999) but it was their radio show on New York's Hot 97 and Power 105 (2000 - 2006) that secured their place in Hip-Hop history.

Super producer/rapper Hit-Boy is preparing to release his Hits Since 87 compilation project entitled We the Plug on May 27th.

Lil Justen of 258 Entertainment has recently released a single featuring Maybach Music Group artist Torch.  The single is titled "Life That I'm Livin'" and since its release in the beginning of May, it has been featured on AudioMack, Hip-Hopvibe and even ViralNewsChart. Torch has become a high demand artist with his rise as a MMG artist over the past year and is currently pushing his single "El Chappo". They both collaborated on this track produced by @TrackBabyBeats and it has boosted both artists social media following. Late last year, Torch and Lil Justen first linked up during an event in Oahu, Hawaii.

Photos of 13-year old Willow Smith in bed with shirtless 20-year old Moises Arias that first appeared online May 7, were enough for the Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services to open an investigation into Willow's parents, Jada Pinkett and Will Smith, according to Radar Online.

“The investigation was formally opened last week and is being taken very seriously by the department,” a source told Radar. “Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have been extremely cooperative with officials. Of course, they aren’t happy that their parenting skills are under scrutiny, but they understand. Social workers will also be talking separately with Willow, and they also want to talk to the young man in the picture with her as well. This won’t just be one or two visits with the family, and it will likely be an open investigation for at least a month, out of an abundance of caution.”

Arias, who is best friends with 15-year old Jaden Smith, is an actore best known for his role as Rico on the Hannah Montana television series.

Jada is the only family member who has commented publicly on the photo. 

"Here's the deal," she said via TMZ on May 8th at LAX. "There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it. You're acting like covert pedophiles and that's not cool."

Too much free time and loneliness leads a lot of kids to the internet in search of friends. Unfortunately, some of the people they encounter online are depraved individuals.

The mother of a 14-year old Iredell County, North Carolina girl found out the hard way that her daughter became involved with a sexual predator.

27-year old Jarred Workman gained the teen's trust after talking with her online for a month. They eventually met in person and the young girl invited Workman to stay in her home without her parent's knowledge.

Workman would either hide in the girl's closet or room during the day and come out when she came home from school. At night he repeatedly had sex with her.

This went on over a 5-day period from April 27 to May 2, until the teen's mom found Workman in the closet while putting some of her daughter's clothes away.

"I was sorta shocked more than anything," the mom told WSOC. "I asked him who he was and he said Jarred Workman and he was 19."

Workman fled the home, leaving behind his wallet and cell phone.

Workman was arrested on Monday, May 19. He's been charged with 11 counts of statutory rape and five counts of statutory sex offense. If convicted he could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.

"Parents really need to delve into their child's social media. And they need to become tech savvy, and if they're not, find somebody who is. And protect their children," Detective Bill Hamby told WCCB.
