Boosie Badazz went under the knife after getting shot in the leg, but surgeons didn't remove his foot ... and he's already home from the hospital.
Sources close to Boosie tell TMZ ... he did NOT get his foot amputated -- contrary to reports -- but he did have a couple of surgeries for his gunshot wound.
Our sources say Boosie had a procedure to remove bullet fragments, and he had some screws put in to make sure his foot properly heals.
Boosie has diabetes, which led to speculation about potential amputation, but we're told the only medical decisions in relation to his diabetes had to do with his pre-surgery diet.
Our sources say Boosie and his docs had to hammer out a diet to make sure he would be fine while under anesthesia, and Boosie ended up taking 24 hours to decide if he even wanted the procedures done.
As we first told you ... Boosie was shot in the leg over the weekend in Dallas, just days after his friend, Mo3, was killed there last week in a fatal shooting.
Sources tell us Boosie checked out of the Dallas-area hospital Tuesday, and he's currently resting at home and still in pain because the gunshot wound is near his knee.
We're told Boosie's going to be off his feet for 6 weeks, but he still has both of them.

COCOA, Fla. (AP) — Video released by a Florida sheriff’s office shows two deputies pulling their weapons and one firing at a car as it drives at him in a shooting that killed two Black teenagers.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office released the video Tuesday after the teenagers’ families and their attorney, famed civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump, demanded more information about last Friday’s events that led to the fatal shooting of A.J. Crooms, 16, and Sincere Pierce, 18.
The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post that Deputies Jafet Santiago-Miranda and Carson Hendren were doing a follow-up investigation on what they thought was a stolen car. When they spotted the car, they followed it as it drove through a residential neighborhood and then pulled into the driveway of a home.
Dashcam video shows the deputies, in two different squad cars, getting out of their vehicles as the car they are following starts backing out of the driveway. Santiago-Miranda says repeatedly, “Stop the vehicle.”
The vehicle stops for a few seconds, backs up a bit and then drives in the direction of Santiago-Miranda as the deputy fires his weapon, according to the video.
Santiago-Miranda “was then forced to fire his service weapon in an attempt to stop the deadly threat of the car from crashing into him,” the sheriff’s office Facebook post said.
Crump said Wednesday in a tweet that the video shows the teens were terrified and tried to drive around the deputies. Out of harm’s way, Santiago-Miranda moved closer to the car to get a better shot, Crump said.
Crump has previously represented the families of Trayvon Martin, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and Jacob Blake.
The deputies involved in the fatal shooting have been put on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Meanwhile, scores of protesters carrying signs that said “Who Do You Call When Police Murder?” and “Prosecute the Police,” walked along a busy road in Cocoa on Wednesday evening, chanting “Justice for A.J. Justice for Spud,” a nickname for Pierce.
ENCINO, Calif. - Bobby Brown Jr., the 28-year-old son of singer Bobby Brown, died Wednesday in Encino, police said.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a report of an unspecified medical emergency in the 5200 block of White Oak Avenue, near Ventura Boulevard, about 1:50 p.m., Officer Jeff Lee said.
Bobby Brown Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene, Lee said. Police are not conducting a criminal investigation, as no foul play is suspected.
TMZ reported that Brown Jr. was found in his home and that his mother is Kim Ward, who Bobby Brown dated before he became engaged to Whitney Houston.
Brown's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who he had with Houston, died at the age of 22 in 2015.
She was found in January of that year unconscious in her home's bathtub in Roswell, Georgia and died several months later after being taken off a ventilator and put into hospice care.

Rapper Tory Lanez pleaded not guilty Wednesday to using a semiautomatic firearm to shoot and wound “Savage” singer Megan Thee Stallion during an incident in July.
His lawyer Shawn Holley entered the plea on his behalf after a Los Angeles judge previously ordered Lanez to stay 100 yards away from Megan and surrender any firearms, a courtroom source confirmed to the Daily News.
Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, was charged last month with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
The 28-year-old “Say It” rapper faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison if convicted as charged.
According to law enforcement, Lanez was driving in an SUV with his 25-year-old victim when the pair “got into an argument” around 4:30 a.m. on July 12 near the 1800 block of Nichols Canyon Road in the Hollywood Hills.
Prosecutors didn’t identify Megan by name when they charged Lanez, but the “WAP” singer later identified herself as the victim.
Authorities said she exited the vehicle before Lanez shot at her feet several times, wounding her.
HOUSTON (AP) — A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the Trump administration to stop expelling immigrant children who cross the southern border alone, halting a policy that has resulted in thousands of rapid deportations of minors during the coronavirus pandemic.
U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan issued a preliminary injunction sought by legal groups suing on behalf of children whom the government sought to expel before they could request asylum or other protections under federal law.
The Trump administration has expelled at least 8,800 unaccompanied children since March, when it issued an emergency declaration citing the coronavirus as grounds for barring most people crossing the border from remaining in the United States.
Border agents have forced many people to return to Mexico right away, while detaining others in holding facilities or hotels, sometimes for days or weeks. Meanwhile, government-funded facilities meant to hold children while they are placed with sponsors have thousands of unused beds.
Sullivan’s order bars only the expulsion of children who cross the border unaccompanied by a parent. The government has expelled nearly 200,000 people since March, including adults, and parents and children traveling together.
“This policy was sending thousands of young children back to danger without any hearing,” said Lee Gelernt, a lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union. “Like so many other Trump administration policies, it was gratuitously cruel and unlawful.”
The Justice Department did not immediately say whether it would appeal. It has appealed another federal judge’s order barring the use of hotels to detain children.

Gucci Mane is poking the bear before he meets said bear in a music battle -- openly touting the fact he killed one of Jeezy's friends ahead of their Verzuz showdown.
Gucci posted a meme Tuesday night mocking his shooting of Jeezy's former labelmate, Pookie Loc, in the 2000s. That was after Pookie allegedly attempted to break into Gucci's home, and Gucci fired in self-defense.
The meme depicts a guy jumping at someone in a courtroom, with a caption that jokingly tries to guess what Gucci might tell Jeezy in their Verzuz match later this week ... and how Jeezy might respond.
The line reads, "go dig ya partna up n**** I bet he can't say s***." Gucci reposted that, and added his own laughing face emojis.
GM's joked about the fatal shooting before, but what makes this latest jab even more relevant is ... he and Jeezy will be on camera together Thursday as they play their hits on Verzuz.
Jeezy hasn't directly responded to Gucci's barbs, but he seems eager to face the man himself ... as he's called him out since it was confirmed Gucci would be replacing T.I. in the Verzuz battle -- which is what everyone wanted in the first place.
We should note, Gucci and Jeezy are NOT friendly by any stretch of the imagination -- aside from Gucci killing Pookie Loc, they have other industry issues that have fueled their beef for years.
One last thing about the shooting -- Gucci was initially charged with murder over Pookie's death, but the charges were dropped ... as the state said there was insufficient evidence to prosecute.
Gucci, for his part, maintains he did what he had to do.

LAKE WALES, Fla. (CBS12) — Investigators say two Florida teens plotted the murder of a man in Central Florida and used the promise of sex to lure him to his death.
"They were pure evil in the flesh," said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd as he described the suspects, 18-year-old Angel Lobato, and his 19-year-old brother, JoJo Lobato.
The two are under arrest for the murder of 21-year-old Danne Frazier, reported missing by his family on Nov. 4 when he didn't come home from work at Publix.
Investigators said JoJo met up with the victim to have sex. As they pulled into a parking lot in Winter Haven, deputies said JoJo stabbed Frazier with a knife during a fight.
"Our victim was fighting for his life," Sheriff Judd said.
The sheriff said Angel beat Frazier with a baseball bat. The two suspected killers then dumped Frazier's body in an orange grove on Nov. 10 in Lake Wales. Authorities said a crew surveying the land discovered the remains in a trash pile.
The sheriff's office said the brothers confessed about killing Frazier and to bragging about the murder on social media.
"Their confession is absolutely horrific," said Judd.
The Lobatos face charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, accessory after the fact of a capital felony, giving false information during a capital investigation, grand theft of a motor vehicle, two counts of tampering with evidence, and burglary of a vehicle. They are being held without bond on the murder charges.
A Florida man has been accused of contributing to the delinquency of his 8-year-old son after deputies say he had the kid tag along with him during a recent series of crimes.
When Ernest McKnight III, 36, was asked by a detective why he had the child with him he replied, “I was trying to toughen him up. … I don’t want him to be soft,” Brian Bruchey, a spokesman for the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said.
He said the boy was with McKnight, of Winter Haven, last week when deputies say McKnight burglarized three unoccupied dwellings, stole a car and made off with a package stolen from a porch. The alleged crimes all took place in the City of Lake Wales.
“Taking a child out with you while you're committing felonies is not the proper way to create a positive influence," Sheriff Grady Judd said. “I’m quite confident that there is not a child psychologist out there who would agree with this guy’s idea of proper activity for a child.”
An arrrest affidavit says McKnight was arrested Thursday after leading deputies on a high speed chase after they spotted him in the stolen vehicle, a red Hyundai taken from a road surveyor.
The affidavit quotes deputies as saying they clocked McKnight going 120 mph and that only after they caught up with him did they discover he was with a child.

"Martyr" featuring Prodigy is off of Slim the Mobster's 2011 highly slept on "War Music" street album. The dark, grimy Sid Roams production on this epic track fit perfectly with Slim and Prodigy's rhyme schemes.
At the time Slim the Mobster was signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath label. "War Music" was supposed to serve as an appetizer for his future projects, but he exited the label before that happened.
