New York rapper JoJo2amazing takes us along for quite the ride with his new song and music video “Long Road” ft Florida’s own Trill Will. This is an ODBM (OnDaBeatzMafia) collaboration with Trill Will’s label; Full Circle Music Group, whom is partnered with Universal Music Group. JoJo2amazing, the owner of his independent label ODBM, shows his team strengths on full display. First let’s start with the beat!
and was produced collaboratively by two producer on the ODBM team. Both Arrari Karvetti and Hi-zenberg ODBM joined forces to bring us this complete master- piece of an instrumental. The song was then Mixed and Mastered by JoJo2amazing himself after all the vocal recordings were produced. Both producers brag how they made this beat from scratch, with custom samples as well, but that’s not all. The video itself is a nail bitting 5min short film which was filmed by both Arrari Karvetti and JoJo2amazing. The film was also directed and edited by JoJo2amazing as well. As for the actual video, it is a storyline that if you are lucky...You haven’t actually experienced this yourself. Without giving too much away, it is a story of betrayal. My goodness, it reminds you to not only keep your friends close. But know exactly who your enemies are. Which is a valuable lesson indeed.
JoJo2amazing explains how the song came to fruition. After receiving this beat from his team of producers. At first, he didn’t know what to do with it. He says how it reminded him of a Drake type, ”Stay Scheming” beat, but didn’t have any idea on how to approach it. Being the entrepreneur that he is, the search for answers began. 2amazing states how he had a couple artist in mind, which he knew would be a perfect fit for this beat. The only problem was that he had never met or knew any of these artist prior too. This is what led to a massive frenzy of DMs as well as likes and comments to get one of these Verified artist to see his message.
2amazing states how “closed mouthes don’t get fed” and “you can’t be afraid to ask, the worse thing that can happen is a no or a non reply”. Being a student of the game 2amazing had three artist in mind from the get go. He then states “I already knew of Trill Will from the days of Boosie and Webbie and was always a fan. So I just blew up his notifications. I can care less of what the next man thinks, I’m just trying to make music.”
Which was his mentality, and to his surprise, Trill Will saw one of his many DMs and actually responded. After a week of conversation or so about details, making sure the beat is cleared or owned and how they would approach it. He states “me being confident in my abilities and knowing my own weakness.I told Trill to just approach it like it was his song. Make the chorus, the topic and etc. and I’ll just write to what ever you come up with.” He later stated how he didn’t want to feel like he was putting the bigger artist in a box. He wanted to give him the flexibility as well as the sense of comfort knowing that if he’s in control nothing less than fire will be produced.
His fear was that if he made up a topic prior or a chorus for the bigger artist (Trill Will) and if he wasn’t feeling it, that it would actually compromise the final product. And wow, was he right on that call. When we ask Trill on how he came up with the Hook, the melody, and the flow he said himself how he usually doesn’t rap/make this type of music. But after hearing the beat, he was overtaken with ideas and just went to work. When we ask 2amazing if he was worried if Trill would give him something that he couldn’t relate or write too. He then shows the upmost confidence and says this. Hell no! I know I’m great.
In my heart of hearts I believe I’m a top 5 lyricist right now. I just haven’t been heard yet. I’m like that diamond in the dirt that hasn’t been found.” If that wasn’t the very definition of self validation/confidence I don’t know what is. But what I do know, is what ever they did together worked!! This is a banger for sure and expect to hear this in a city near you soon. JoJo2amazing x Trill Will, together make a great combo. Their rap styles are Oo soo different but it compliments each other very well, kind of like a salty but sweet treat. I genuinely hope we hear more from these two as 2amazing teases a potential joint EP from them both. And with that being said all I can do is buckle up, sit back and relax. Because this ride is going to be amazing. I just hope this “Long Road” never ends.

A Florida rapper was arrested over the weekend after police said he shot and killed two men following a music recording session last week.
Billy Bennett Adams III, who goes by the name Ace NH, spent Thursday evening recording new songs with the victims in a makeshift recording studio in Lutz, about 15 miles north of Tampa, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
After the session was done, the 23-year-old shot the two men and fled in his car, evading arrest for two days before cops busted him on Saturday, authorities said.
Adams was charged with two counts of premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm and one count of armed burglary of a structure.
His motive is still under investigation, but police believe the shooting was the result of a gang-related feud. The accused killer and one of the victims “self-identify” as members of the “Crips” gang on social media, according to the release.
“This was a violent execution this suspect performed, and although the attack was clearly targeted, we will not allow gang-related disputes to disrupt the comfort and safety of innocent residents in any of our communities,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement.
“Our deputies responded to the crime scene in less than five minutes the night of the murders, and due to their diligent work around the clock to solve this case, detectives arrested the suspect responsible in less than 48 hours,” he said. “It is clear that this suspect had no regard for human life, and now he will face the consequences for his actions.”
Adams, who’s being held without bond, released several albums in recent years, including one titled “Life Goes On” that came out this year, as well as numerous singles, according to Spotify.
The victims’ names have not been released.

"So much fire on this tape," he wrote in the description for the video teasing the track. "THEY TRIED PUT A CELING ON OUR GREATNESS SO WE TOOK THE CEILING OFF! ANOTHER ONE." He also linked to a website for the tape, which will be released via DatPiff.
"Shout out to Lil Wayne," he said in the clip, which has Drake rapping over smooth, throwback production. He then switched to another preview of Wayne rapping over a bass-heavy beat in a more rapid-fire flow. He let a little more of the Drake and Wayne reunion play in a second clip, in which he flicks his lighter on while listening to the song.

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) — Two people are charged with capital murder in connection with the shooting death of a Texas State University football player Tuesday night, the San Marcos Police Department said Wednesday.
Police accuse Enalisa Briana Blackman, 20, and Michael Tyreek Ifeanacho, 20, of shooting Khambrail Winters, 20, while the three were planning to buy drugs at The Lodge Apartments located at 1975 Aquarena Springs Drive in San Marcos.
Police say after interviews with witnesses and those involved with the incident, the drug deal was set up at the apartment complex where Blackman met the two others to buy “a couple ounces of marijuana.”
During the deal, police say Winters was shot in the chest and died at the scene. When officers arrived at the scene at approximately 9:13 p.m., they discovered the man later identified as Winters with a gunshot wound to the chest. Officers attempted to perform life-saving efforts on Winters.
Winters was a sophomore defensive back on the Texas State Bobcats football team, and was an honorable mention all-Sun Belt Conference performer in 2019. Winters is from Houston and went to Alief Taylor High School.
Texas State head football coach Jake Spavital released this statement regarding the incident:
Our Texas State University football team is deeply saddened by the death of our team member, and friend, Khambrail Winters.
I met with the players this morning to share the news. We will stand together as a team and support one another during this difficult time. Our thoughts and condolences are with Khambrail’s family and loved ones.
His death is part of an ongoing San Marcos Police Department investigation into an incident that occurred off-campus last night. We are waiting for more details to be released before we can comment further.
The coaches and I are meeting with the team to discuss how we will proceed for the rest of the week.

Comedian Dave Chappelle on Tuesday posted a video on Instagram asking his fans not to stream episodes of his Comedy Central show until he gets more money for them. The plea came near the end of a lengthy clip of Chappelle doing a standup routine, during which he reveals Netflix pulled the series after he asked them to.
"I'm begging you, if you ever liked me, if you ever think there was anything worthwhile about me, I'm begging you, please don't watch that show," Chappelle said. "I'm not asking you to boycott any network. Boycott me. Boycott 'Chappelle's Show.' Do not watch it unless they pay me."
The majority of the nearly 19-minutes-long clip is devoted to Chappelle claiming that due to the contract he signed before he abruptly quit "Chappelle's Show," he doesn't get any additional money for the work he did — even as big media companies continue to profit from his work.
"I signed the contract the way a 28-year-old expectant father that was broke signs a contract," he explained. "I was desperate and needed a way out. And it wasn't good money and it wasn't good circumstances but, 'what else am I gonna do?' I said."
After two successful seasons, Chappelle signed an extension with Comedy Central worth $50 million. After numerous production delays, Chappelle left both the show and the country. Comedy Central then cobbled together a shortened third season using previously unreleased sketches.
"People think I made a lot of money from 'Chappelle's Show.' When I left that show, I never got paid. They didn't have to pay me because I signed the contract. But is that right?" Chappelle asked the audience. "I found out that these people were streaming my work. And they never had to ask me and they never had to tell me. Perfectly legal, because I signed the contract. But is that right?"
The clip ends with Chappelle directly criticizing ViacomCBS, which owns Comedy Central, for what he says was an unfair deal. He conceded it's possible that current executives could be unaware of the situation, as it happened over a decade ago, and encouraged them to go to the accounting department to see how much money "Chappelle's Show" made compared to how much he was paid.
He then invites the corporation to work out a deal with him.
