I want all parents to take a good look at this picture. Yall may think it's cool to dress your kids in all kinds of weird outfits for Halloween and school plays. And of course we don't know any better, so we put the costumes on and pose for pics like young Aubrey Graham here. But we're going to grow up, and these pics will still be out here to haunt us forever. So just consider these facts when choosing your kids costume for Halloween, which is right around the corner. This was a Public Service Announcement sponsored by embarrassed kids all across the world. twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump I'm really digging the trend of rappers using bands in concert and live television appearances. It shows the progression of hip hop, from when performances were strictly two turntables and a mic. While I see nothing wrong with the latter, I do think live bands will become more the norm, and will free the dj up to do more cutting and scratching. All that leads up to is me saying Drake was exceptional on Late Show With David Letterman last night (October 1). Where he performed "Show Me A Good Time" from his debut album 'Thank Me Later.' How do you guys feel about live bands vs just the mc and his dj? twitter-5d.gif

Fans had to be thrilled as Young Jeezy "Unforgettable", Tyga and Jae Millz "Bedrock" and J. Cole "Who Dat" came out to perform with Drizzy. This was the first of two sold out shows at Radio City. Video After The Jump Slime Flu season is almost upon us. Initially slated to be a free mixtape, Vado's highly anticipated 'Slime Flu' is now being released by E1 Records. You may have to spend a few bucks to get it, but judging from the material Cam'ron's protege has been releasing to the streets, it will be well worth it. GEOHVISION was on the scene to give us a behind the scene glimpse of Vado and Jae Millz's new 'Respect The Jux' video. The song is inspired by the Frank Mathews novel of the same name, which is also being made into a feature film. The 'Slime Flu' mixtape is dropping October 12.

Video After The Jump JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- He is a multi-million dollar selling artist whose songs continue to top the charts. But Thursday night, two people told police that rap-artist, Drake started a fight that sent one of them to the hopsital. "I don't even want to hear his songs on the radio." Jeremis Soriano's lip was busted open after he said Drake's bodyguard punched him. "Before I got to say his name, he hit me in the mouth and I fell back," he said. Jeremis started to call Drake names when the rapper pushed his friend away. "He never put his hands on Drake. He never made a fist toward the security guard for them to hit him that hard," said Soriano's friend. And it continued after both of them were escorted out of the club. "Drake went to get on the bus and he flicked me off and said 'F--- You, you are nothing,'" said Soriano's friend. "They are just regular people with a little more money than us," said Soriano. Jeremis went to Memorial Hospital for treatment and now has six stitches in his mouth. "They are the same people that are buying your C.D.'s. You shouldn't treat us like that," he said. Jeremis says he will press charges and is even seeking legal advice. But he says he doesn't want much, just enough to pay his medical bills. Drake was in town last week for a concert. The Jacksonville Sheriff's office was not able to get in touch with Drake Thursday night, but they are investigating. Source: Fox30 twitter-5d.gif

Video After The Jump Gloria Velez is not a woman that will bite her tongue, as we've seen over the last several months. Glo has gone after Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma, now you can add Brian Pumper to that list of targets. "He's not that big....he's little," Glo told Philly's Batcave Radio Crew as she watched an X-Rated clip on the Porno N*gga. "Brian is not hanging cuz I just saw him." Glo then moved on to Nicki Minaj. A couple of months back, Gloria went in on Nicki. In the aftermath, Glo claims that members of the Young Money camp tried to smear her, by bringing up the fact that she appeared on Uncle Luke's Peep Show. In the video, Gloria is seen giving and receiving oral sex from another woman in front of a crowd of people. "The thing is, she's [Nicki] claiming that she is lesbian, she's gay. So why is that like a down? Why are you belittling that when you say all you do is love women? I was with a beautiful woman, so she contradicting herself...she's a puppet," Glo said. "I don't respect anything [Nicki does]. Did you see the MTV Music Awards? She was horrible, that was garbage. She can't even shake her fake butt, she can't dance, she sounded wack live. It's ok she gets her butt implants, but it's a little ridiculous. It's not sexy anymore, you just see straight sex. I don't see her as classy or a Barbie at all." Gloria also spoke on Lil Kim being a better rapper than Nicki and talked a bit about Joe Budden. She actually tried to defend Budden, because the Batcave crew was clowning him as an artist. "Shout out to the rest of Slaughterhouse for carrying him," one of them said. Well damn! twitter-5d.gif

Drake and J.Cole are two of the hottest young rappers in the game. Drake has already dropped a platinum album, while Cole is gearing up for his Roc Nation debut. Fans are already talking about who would win a potential lyrical battle on wax between the two. It's something Cole has contemplated himself. He recently talked to Vibe and gave his thoughts on the possibility. "From a fan’s point of view, who are you going to get excited about [to] battle? I feel like that’s why people push the J.Cole/Drake thing so much, ‘cause I think we’re probably the first two artists that fans are super excited about. The two that they would like to see go at it. I don’t blame ‘em. But it’s just a sign of the times. Rap goes in cycles. I’m not promoting that, but I’m a competitive person in general, so I’m a fan of people throwing jabs and shots. That motivates me," Cole said. What do you guys think? Who would come out on top if these two went at it?

Video After The Jump What recession? Cash Money Records co-owner, Birdman is spending money like it's nothing. The man has likes expensive items from Europe. Just in the last week we've seen Stunna cop a $2.5 million dollar Bugatti Veyron sports car. Now we see him being hand delivered a $1.5 million dollar diamond encrusted Chopard watch. The watch is supposedly one of only two made. The other is owned by singer Elton John who is an avid admirer of exquisite time pieces. So much so, he has his own collection designed by Chopard. The watch pictured below was made by the company to mark their 10 years of support for Elton's Aids Foundation.

Is spending $1.5 million dollars on a watch ridiculous or not a big deal if you're rich and can afford it?

Nicki Minaj has refused to discuss her sexuality, claiming she doesn't understand the fascination with her private life. Speculation about the Young Money rapper's sexual preference has surrounded her since she burst onto the rap scene last year, with some reports suggesting she is bisexual. Lil Wayne's protege has previously made jokes about having threesomes with R n B songstress Cassie and model Lauren London which has fueled reports that she could be into women. Minaj also hit the headlines earlier this month for her joke marriage to Drake on Twitter, with even his mum thinking they had tied the knot. Speaking to Complex magazine, the Your Love singer claims she is happy to keep people guessing about her sexuality stating: "Take what you want from it (the bisexual rumours). (In the press) I didn't say (I don't like women)." "I said I don't have sex with women. I don't have sex with men right now either. If (bisexual is) what they wanna call me, then fine." Minaj also revealed to the publication that she is currently single and enjoying a period of celibacy, saying: "Maybe it's because we don't need that physical stimulation all the time. I can just have a daydream and it does it for me." Source: MTVUK twitter-5d.gif

Toronto rapper Drake has a vast knowledge of music stored in his brain. His tastes range from hip hop to rock and r&b. So it should come as no surprise that his own music is not confined to one genre. On his debut album, 'Thank Me Later', Drizzy easily moved from spitting raps to singing entire r&b flavored joints throughout the album. In recent weeks, Drake revealed his love for fallen pop angel Aaliyah, who died at age 22 in a plane crash. Penning an open letter to her on his website. "My love for her goes beyond anything. Maybe it's corny of me to like a girl's music so much. I wish I had the chance to meet her. I would've tried to marry her," Drake tells Rolling Stone in their upcoming issue. He also talked to RS about his admiration for guitar legend, Jimi Hendrix, who also died young, age 27. "We just left Seattle, where I played the Bumbershoot festival and visited Jimi Hendrix's memorial, I'm a huge fan," he explains. "I play the DVD of Hendrix at Woodstock to pump me up before I perform. Watching him go out there at 10 in the morning in shitty weather and conquer the crowd always gives me a little more adrenaline. I just left a little letter for Jimi at his grave," Drake says. "It wasn't a real letter. I just wrote him a message on a pack of Zig-Zags. It said, "Still inspired." That's what's up, now we'll have to wait and see if Drake drops another album this year as Mack Maine hinted to MTV a month ago. twitter-5d.gif

Earlier this year producer Bangladesh -- the man behind hits for the likes of Ludacris and Beyonce -- put Lil Wayne on blast for failing to pay his $500,000 production bill, but it seems that the two have settled their fiscal squabble. The BoomBox caught up with the Atlanta based producer, born Shondrae Crawford, who was singing a very different tune at the mention of Wayne. "Everything is being worked out through the legal process," he told The BoomBox. "It's really out of his control honestly. I mean he don't run the label, he don't own the label -- he's just on the label. I just got an email from my attorney saying they're getting the exact number of what I'm owned and things will be taken care of. " The whole disagreement between Wayne and Bangladesh started over the track 'A Millie' which appeared on his 2008 album 'Tha Carter III.' Bangladesh alleged that the popularity of the track propelled the album to sell over three million copies domestically. Proving that there are no hard feelings, Bangladesh plans to put together more beats for Wayne. "[Young Money president] Mack Maine reached out to me not too long ago telling me Wayne wants some beats," he says. "It's specific beats that he wants. My thing is, long as this gets taken care of and we don't have any future problems everything will be worked out. It ain't the beef with Wayne it's just the whole label. I really never had too much of a relationship with Wayne, it was just more of a mutual friend type of thing. I guess [Mack Maine] talked to him from jail and he reached out to me telling me Nicki [Minaj] wanted something and, something I already did." Hopefully, if these two do end up working together on Wayne's forthcoming 'Tha Carter IV,' they can work out a payment plan to avoid anymore problems Source: BoomBox twitter-5d.gif

Nicki Minaj is the new Queen of hip hop, and somewhere along the way, she has also become a big influence in the gay and lesbian community. Female pop artists like Madonna, Grace Jones and Lady Gaga have huge fan bases in those communities as well, but it's not something that has ever happened before in rap. The Trinidad born femcee recently talked with PaperMag about how this came to be, and why she embraces it. "I didn't set out to do that. I just like to put a spotlight on the people who support me, and it just so happens, you know, that the gay community has supported me -- more than I ever could have imagined," she says. "I see videos on YouTube where they impersonate me, and they do an amazing freaking job of dressing up as me." Nicki credits going to LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts (the "Fame school") as being a major influence and with keeping her open minded. "I saw gay kids, I saw white kids, I saw grunge and pink hair and piercings," she recalls. "I think because of that, I didn't put limits on myself or what I was going to put in my raps. I really just wanted to be diverse." The Young Money rapper thinks that one day we will see a male rapper have just as big of an impact in the gay community. Nicki, who has said she is bi-sexual, told Details that time might not come that soon though. "I think the world is getting more gay-friendly, so hip-hop is too. But it's harder to imagine an openly gay male rapper being embraced. People view gay men as having no street credibility. But I think we'll see one in my lifetime." twitter-5d.gif
