Drake may be one of the hottest rappers in the game, but he's still not calling baller shots just yet. The Young Money rapper reached out to MTV's 2010 Hottest Breakthrough Artist in the hopes he would join his 'Light Dreams and Nightmare Tour', "If Wiz by any chance watches this, you gotta make some calls for me and make this happen," Drake told MTV. "We got that young energy right now, we need to go out here and kill these people." Wiz got the massage and says no thanks according to XXL due to his own tour. “Just the fact of cuz even extending his hand and me being on his radar is tight, to me,” he said. “It just lets me know that I’m doin’ what I need to be doin’ as far as stayin’ relevant and stayin’ poppin’. But I think to keep me poppin’ and keep me relevant I gotta stay buildin’ on top of what I’m doin’ and what I been doin’. No disrespect to cuz or anybody else who might wanna see me do some more collaborative things, but to keep buildin’ and keep my brand as strong as what it is, I gotta keep focusin’ on what it is. This is my first tour that I got comin’ up, the Waken Baken tour, I gotta at least kick that off and make that it what it is so we can do ten more." Drake's tour features Bun B and Clipse as opening acts, certainly it could have been a good look for Pittsburgh's Wiz, but the timing just isn't right. Wiz did say that he would like to meet and hang out with Drizzy soon. “I really want to meet him and chop it up with him,” he said. “I wanna meet him, chop it up, smoke one with him and who knows what could happen. But it’s all positive right now," Wiz said.

Drake gave the crowd in Toronto a once in a lifetime thrill when he brought out Eminem during his set at the 'October's Very Own Festival' last night (August 1).

The duo performed "Forever" as the crowd went bananas.

After the song ended, Drake told the crowd that Eminem was the "greatest of all time".

Just prior to Silm's appearance, Drizzy brought out Bun-B of UGK.

Rappers Support AIDS Awareness Campaign In Houston

Radio station KBXX-FM 97.9 is hosting their annual Hip Hop For HIV Awareness concert next month, a free concert aimed at promoting HIV/AIDS awareness in the city of Houston, Texas. KBXX 97.9 teamed with The Houston Department of Health and Human Services, Aids Foundation Houston, the NAACP in Houston and Amerigroup Community Care to produce the campaign, which kicked off today (June 22). The city-wide event, which ends July 10th, is aimed at spreading awareness about HIV and STD’s. The goal of campaign is to get over 15,000 youth and young adults between the ages of 15-40 in the city of Houston, tested for a variety of STD's. Each person tested will receive a ticket to a star-studded concert that takes place July 11 in Houston. The line up for the free concert includes Plies, Pleasure P, Day 26, Melanie Fiona, Bobby Valentino, LeToya Luckett, Twista, Yung Problemz, Yung L.A., G.T., Gorilla Zoe, Bun B and Ginuwine. Only those tested for HIV and receive their results will be eligible for the free ticket. For testing dates and locations or for additional information concerning this event go to www.kbxx.com. A List Of The Best Rappers Over 30

A few Tuesday’s ago (May, 19th to be exact) we saw album releases from Busta Rhymes, Method Man & Redman, & of course, Eminem. This was so far the biggest release date of 2009. All three acts that I mentioned are veterans in the game and well respected by their peers. Another thing they have in common: They’re all over the age of 30. If you think about it, most of Hip-Hop’s elite are over the age of 30. I guess it’s no longer a young man’s game. So I was thinking, since you see a lot of lists with titles such as “25 Hottest Celebs Under 25” or “40 Richest Under 40”, why not The Best 30 Rappers Over 30? But for this list, we got set some ground rules. #1 of course is the most obvious; you gotta be over the age of 30 (That throws out people like Weezy, Lupe, Drake, & T.I.). #2, you have to be 30 as of this list (Both The Game & Joe Budden will be 30 this year, but aren’t as of yet). #3, you got to be active and releasing records with new material that relevant (Rakim & Big Daddy Kane are legends but they don’t make this list). Other than that, the only requirement is being 3-0 or older. So, here’s it: The Best 30 Rappers Over 30 (Ordered from oldest to youngest). 30 is the new 20! Did I forget anybody?
