It's been over two years since 50 Cent released Before I Self Destruct. Since that time he's recorded a large amount of new material. With so much new music in the vault he's toying with the idea of releasing two new albums in 2012.
Normally when 50 drops an album he tours the world in support of it. In a recent conversation with Forbes, the Queens native said he might forego hitting the road this time around in order to get more new music out to his fans faster.
"This time I'm not sure if I will tour the world like I did on my last projects because it makes my album cycles two years long. So I think I'd like to launch this record, then come right back and launch another record following it," he explained. "It's been three years since my last album, so I've recorded so much material that I'm really excited about trying to get those ideas to the general public so they can get a chance to hear it and appreciate it."
50 also discussed how technology and digital websites like Spotify and Pandora internet radio have increased the need for artists to stay more visible than in the past.
"I definitely think you have to keep your audience engaged a little more," said the G-Unit boss. "Because there is a lot of different outlets and new material that comes out. But it's not from established artists. They're still within the regimen of things that they've been doing. So they'll stay there for a little while. I just feel like because I've created so much I wanna be able to get it out to them. And I'm always excited about the newest idea from myself."
Despite his many business endeavors, 50 says music will always remain his top priority.
"I think that's ambition. I think I'm running through an endless tunnel, and I always find something else to be passionate about and to kind of put myself into. [But] music, there's nothing that replaces the feeling of when it's dead right," 50 said. "Like when you got your finger on the pulse of what's going on and you release it. Because there's not a whole lot of people involved. Because I'm conditioned to write, it's a short process. It may take me 30 to 40 minutes to write the song. So the idea just comes out."

Iggy joins a star studded roster that includes 50 Cent, Eminem, Madonna and Lady Gaga over at Interscope.
A lot of fans first caught wind of the Australian rapper when she dropped the video for "Pu$$y," but the 21-year old has actually been rapping for eight years now as we mentioned in a story about her last October.

By now you have all heard 50 Cent's banger "Wait Until Tonight" off of his street album The Big 10. Some of you may not be as familiar with the record's producer, although you have definitely heard his music before.
West Coast producer Scoop DeVille is the man who crafted "Wait Until Tonight." He also produced Tony Yayo's "Haters," Snoop Dogg's "I Wanna Rock," Xzibit's "Hurt Locker" and many more.
Our good friends over at Hip Hop-N-More caught up with the producer to find out the inspiration behind "Wait Until Tonight" and "Haters."
HHNM: First off, thanks for taking out the time to speak with us. And secondly, congratulations on 50 Cent’s ‘Wait Until Tonight’. It’s another smash to your credit.
Scoop DeVille: Appreciate that sir. Definitely a great credit to have under the belt. Blessed.
HHNM: Let me start this interview by asking you how this beat came about. A lot of fans are interested to know. Tell us the creative process behind the making of it.
Scoop DeVille: Honesty, I created the idea when I was 17. I always liked that song (Bobby Womack ‘If You Think You’re Lonely Now’) growing up. It was always in the household and car rides with the fam. I went back to the idea recently and sure enough 50 was feeling the record. It’s truly impressive to me how something I been keeping in the beat vault is finally being heard in today’s music. I guess that’s staying ahead of time. Or having timeless pieces of art.
HHNM: Great. Since he has another mixtape coming out followed by the album, can we look forward to more work with him in the future? We heard 50 saying “Scoop got some heat” in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid last week on Shade 45.
Scoop DeVille: Yeah, absolutely! There’s a few records starting to surface and I always stay working so as long as they need records I’ll keep supplying.
HHNM: ‘Haters’ by Tony Yayo is another one of my favorite beats that you did this year but I feel it failed to meet its true potential. Why do you think that happened?
Scoop DeVille: That was definitely one of my favorites as well. Unfortunately, it didn’t take off the way I wanted but then again we weren’t trying to make a crazy #1 record. It’s a fun record for what it is and it got great exposure without radio or spending money on promo. Great record to have production wise. Hopefully, it will come back in the long run.

Thisis50 catches up with Iggy Azalea to talk to her about her career, whether or not she considers herself an overnight sensation and her being star struck the first time she met 50 Cent.
There are big wagers taking place all over the country as Super Bowl 46 inches closer to taking place. Few will be bigger than a proposed bet between 50 Cent and Birdman.
As we previously reported, 50 won $500,000 dollars when he bet on the New York Giants to beat the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game, paving their way to the Super Bowl.
A day later Birdman tweeted that he was willing to place a $5 million dollar bet with anyone on the New England Patriots to defeat the Giants in the big game. Fif answered the call by telling Stunna he'd bet him $1 million instead.
This could get interesting. Who do you think will win the big game between the Patriots and Giants?

50 Cent and ESPN's Skip Bayless have been engaging in a friendly war of words regarding a potential Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Manny Pacquiao mega-fight.
Skip has gone on record as saying Pacquiao gave "less than his best" in his 3rd fight against Juan Manuel Marquez in an attempt to get Mayweather in the ring. He thinks Pac Man can defeat Floyd.
"He's saying, 'go ahead hit me in the chin because I'm going to lure Floyd into thinking that I'm actually vulnerable now,'" Skip said on air after Pacquiao/Marquez III.
50 Cent has heard enough of of Skip's anti-Mayweather rants and shot back.
"Floyd is 42-0, there's absolutely no way that you can actually make a logical discussion on how you can beat him. Because he hasn't been beaten" 50 said recently. "Pacquiao has several losses. And he didn't look good in his last fight [against Marquez]. And the chump is getting ready to get on his bicycle and run. I love people who commentate on fighting who don't fight. Skip you wanna fight?"
Skip jokingly replied via ESPN's 1st Take that he's ready to lace the gloves up against 50.
"Yeah I do Mr. Cent. What do you weigh like 135? Let's do it right here," Skip said tapping on the 1st Take table. "I've invited you to sit across from me and you run from me."
It would be hilarious if 50 took Skip up on his offer and appeared on the show. Let's hope that happens.

50 Cent is in Las Vegas this week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) where he is showcasing his new SMS Audio headphones. Fif and DJ Pauly D will also formally announce plans for Pauly D's own SMS Audio headphone line on Thursday.
Spike TV's CES All Access Live is giving tech fans up to the minute streaming coverage of the event. They had the chance to sit down with 50 earlier today to talk about what separates his headphone line from the competition, his frustration with Interscope regarding his upcoming album and his son's love for NBA 2K12.
Check out the Q and A below.
Why get into headphones, everybody is doing it right?
It's an extension to my passion for music. Because I spend more time in the studio mixing material, making sure the sound quality is right than actually creating the idea. The song writing process for me is faster than actually finishing the song.
You've got two pairs. You've got Street and you got Sync which are wireless. Now, you have been a pioneer in a lot of ways. There's a lot of guys doing headphones right now. Dre, your man has Beats by Dre--really successful. So tell me if I gotta decide which one I'm going to buy do you have the better sounding?
I think it's the best sounding wireless headset. Because a lot of the headsets that are out there that are wireless are using blue tooth which was originally created for telecommunications, but the Kleer technology within these headsets allow me to have a 16 bit lossless wireless technology that allows me to be 50 feet away from the single source. That doesn't have any distortion that's still cd quality.
I've seen a lot of mentions from you on your Twitter about your music career. How you have lost faith in it. I saw you apologizing to Jimmy [Iovine]. Are you doing headphones now? Are you still doing music?
I went through the process to write this album, it's been discouraging at points to not see the same efforts from everyone.
You're a big gamer, your son's a big gamer. Are we ever gonna see some headsets for gamers?
Possibly, he's really big on the 2K right now.
NBA 2K?
Yeah, it's amazing how they make the players look like actual people.

While at CES 2012 in Las Vegas this week, 50 Cent took some time away from promoting his new SMS Audio headphone line to get at Manny Pacquiao for "running" from a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
"We're trying to bring some attention to the general public about Pacquiao because he's running scared right now," 50 said while standing next to Floyd. "We're looking for him. If you see somebody that knows him say, 'why's your man scared? 50 was talking about him at the CES Convention.'"
Earlier in the week Floyd called Manny out via Twitter.
"Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see," Floyd wrote. "My Jail Sentence was pushed back because the date was locked in. Step up Punk."
In an interview with Fighthype.com Friday (January 13) Floyd reiterated his stance, saying he doesn't want to fight anyone except Pacquiao.
"Like I said before, Floyd Mayweather don't want to fight nobody but one person. I don't want to fight nobody else but him. Nobody! I don't want to fight (Miguel) Cotto. Not Canelo (Saul Alvarez). And I aint looking to fight (Juan Manuel) Marquez a second time. Nobody! I only want him! I only want one person, Pacquiao!" Mayweather said. "I’m not trying to fight (Robert) Guerrero. I fought a southpaw, I fought (Victor) Ortiz. Ortiz was a tune up preparing me for Pacquiao because I thought that fight was going to happen and it’s the fight I want to give the world. I’m looking to fight Manny Pacquiao, why is he duckin’ and dodgin’ me?”
Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum told the Manilla Bulletin today that the Mayweather/Pacquiao could still happen in late May or early June in Las Vegas. But he also added that there are alternatives for the Filipino champion if negotiations fall through.
Arum said possible alternatives for Pacquiao include a 2nd fight with Cotto, Tim Bradley, Lamont Peterson or a fourth fight with Marquez.
There is also the possiblity the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight will take place in the United Arab Emirates, where there are investors willing to pay huge sums of money to make it happen.
“Dallas would be the best place to put on that fight in the US because you could get 100,000 people in Cowboys Stadium but Dubai is the best moneywise," Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach told the Manilla Bulletin. "There were negotiations with people from Dubai. I met with a group of people who were negotiating with [Pacquiao's financial adviser] Michael Koncz."
Will this fight ever take place? Take our poll and sound off in the comment section below.
