Video After The JumpWhen in doubt, always bet on Beyonce Knowles. The hugely successful singer and actress is ready to conquer the world of women's fragrances with her new perfume 'Beyonce Heat' which will be in stores this February.
Industry insiders are estimating it could top $100 million in sales globally in it's first year.
Beyonce is very pleased with the finished product, she told WWDBeauty:
“I’m so happy with it, I’ve been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments. Coty has their own testing, but that was my testing! The fans loved it. They were like, ‘I love that, I’m getting that, why isn’t it out right now? I need it!”
Jay-Z's better half worked hand in hand with Givaudan’s Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin to develop the perfume.
“This was my first time starting from scratch, although I’ve worked with a few other fragrance projects,” said Knowles, Everything, from the bottle design to the name and the ideas for the commercials — that’s me. When I commit to something, I do it 100 percent, and I’ve never had [creative control over a fragrance] until this project. I learned a lot of great things from the past — but I always asked myself, ‘If I could have my own scent, what would it be?’ I wasn’t worried about deadlines. It could have taken me three, four, however many years — this was my first fragrance, and I wanted to make sure that it was something I would love forever.”

When news broke that T.I. was released from prison, the streets were abuzz with word that the King was released to a halfway house to finish out the remainder of his jail sentence.
Now just a week later, reports are surfacing that T.I.'s wasting no time since his release and getting back in the studio.
The news broke via Twitter when former Warner Music executive Kevin Liles posted a tweet saying,
“My right hand went home to visit family & found his way to the studio. Why wait for 2010, get it in now' Love the attitude!"
Before anyone had a chance to comment on Liles' tweet, it was swiftly deleted. How convenient.
If Tip really is in the studio recording new music be on the lookout for a comeback.
The king's baaack.

They may have engaged in friendly competition to promote their respective albums in 2007, but an established hotel is utilizing nonmusic-related possessions from Kanye West and 50 Cent to help market itself to wealthy clientele.
According to Bloomberg.com the Hollywood home of the G-Unit leader has been used to train staff members at the Cheval Blanc hotel in the French ski town of Courcheve.
The rooms cost $67,466.00 per-night.Cheval Blanc Hotel
The hotel, co-owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy and Belgian billionaire Albert Frere, is noted for its grand style and pricey array of services that include a Michelin three-star chef, bedtime chocolates delivered to your room aboard a gondola and “Hair Room Service" by famed barber John Nollet.
Rooms range from a basic single room with a maxibar full of Krug Champagne to a 650-square-meter duplex sky ranch to a master bedroom on a fifth-floor super suite that features a gym, private elevator, massage room, sauna, steam room, grand piano, Jacuzzi and a dressing room with eight closets and 84 drawers and shelves.
The home of 50 Cent is used by Cheval Blanc chief protocol officer Marie-Claude Metrot to prepare the hotel’s 115 staff members (or “players” as they’re called) to help bring the venue and its assets to life, while catering to their guests every need.
Cheval Blanc
In her eyes, the ability for workers to fulfill the fantasies of guests is important in making a stay at the Cheval Blanc more of an experience than anything else.
“We deliver dreams,” Metrot said. “We don’t let guests think. We anticipate their desires.”
In addition to 50 Cent, Cheval Blanc has drawn support from Kanye West. The Chicago hitmaker created bronze teddy bears to display at the 34-room venue.
West and 50 Cent's contributions to Cheval Blanc serve as a contrast to the competitive nature displayed by the rappers in 2007.

That year, 50 Cent's Curtis album went head-to-head with West's Graduation to see who could sell the most copies of their respective projects on September 11.
West ultimately won the battle, selling 957,000 copies of Graduation on its first week of release. The Curtis album, which included the hit "I Get Money," came up short during the competition, with 691,000 copies sold in its first week.

Lil Wayne must be going through an emotional roller coaster as 2009 draws to a close.
Being one of the most successful rappers out right now and head of Young Money Records. Which features two artists in Drake and Nicki Minaj that are as white hot as two rookie emcees could possibly could be are things i'm sure he's quite proud of.
However, the rapper born Dwayne Carter has seen his good fortune stall a bit recently as run-ins with the law have caught up with him.
In February, Wayne will be sentenced to a year in jail for a gun charge in New York. He is also facing drug possession and weapons charges in Arizona. On top of that, his new rock LP 'Rebirth' has leaked months early and the reviews for the record have been lukewarm at best.
None of that mattered last night though (Monday December 28). As the New Orleans native kicked off his 'Farewell For Now' Tour in his hometown. Opening the show with his smash hit "A Milli", Weezy told the crowd "I'm nothing without you"
"I hope Lil Wayne will follow in T.I.'s footsteps," said 32-year-old Jed Wright, who brought his 11-year-old stepson to the show as a Christmas present. "T.I. promised to turn his life around. Lil Wayne can do the same thing."

Tiger Woods is not the only one who blew big bucks with his image-busting cheating spree.
His losses are chump change compared with the up to $12 billion that the scandal has cost shareholders of his big-money sponsors like Nike, AT&T and Gatorade, a study revealed Monday.
"Total shareholder losses may exceed several decades' worth of Tiger Woods' personal endorsement income," said study author Victor Stango, a professor at the University of California Davis.
The study compared the stock prices of nine Woods sponsors with competitors and the overall market after the scandal erupted last month.
Investors in the three sports-related companies - video gamemaker Electronic Arts, Gatorade and Nike - fared the worst, experiencing a 4.3% drop in stock value.
On the other hand, Accenture, a global management consulting firm, experienced no measurable ill effects from Woods' fall from grace.

Producer Scott Storch is expected to be a major player in the musical comeback of rapper Shyne, who was deported to his native Belize after over nine years of incarceration.
Storch exclusively told AllHipHop.com of his plans to craft a new album for the former Bad Boy.
"Yeah, Shyne's my man. I've been talking to him and I was talking to him all through his prison sentence. He's always remained a loyal person to me," he told AllHipHop.com.
He said that he and Shyne actually befriended each other while Shyne was in jail for a December 1999 shooting that left several people wounded.
"We became friends after he was already in [jail] and I found out he was a fan and he's just a hell of a cool guy," Storch continued. "I'm looking forward to doing, not just one record, but doing a chunk on his album."
To read more on Scott Storch and his current work, including more details on Shyne's album, read the two-part feature on Tuesday December 29 and Wednesday December 30. The chairman of the Nevada State Athletic Commission has ordered Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. to take immediate out-of-competition urine tests, even as the sides bicker heatedly over a drug-testing policy that threatens to scrap their scheduled March 13 mega-fight in Las Vegas.
Nevada Athletic Commission Chairman Pat Lundvall ordered Executive Director Keith Kizer to point Mayweather and Pacquiao to accredited drug-testing labs in the United States and Philippines, respectively, for tests that must be completed by Wednesday, Kizer told The Times.
The tests will be paid for by Nevada and are consistent with World Anti-Doping Agency guidelines, Kizer said.
"It's a start," Kizer said. "Whether it's the end, I don't know."
Kizer was referring to the ongoing argument that the Mayweather and Pacquiao camps are engaged in over how to conduct drug tests. Pacquiao's camp wants to submit two blood tests, one in January, another 30 days before the fight, and another after the bout. Mayweather's camp, after consulting with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency about its protocol, argues that the fighters should be subjected to possible random blood testing until the first bell.
On Tuesday, Mayweather's camp issued a prepared statement saying they've already made major concessions on deal points, including the weight limit and gloves, and were hopeful Pacquiao would agree "that many different substances and procedures can only be detected by blood testing." Team Mayweather contends that Pacquiao had blood drawn just 14 days before his May fight against Ricky Hatton.
Mayweather's statement also noted Pacquiao won't agree to mediation on the subject by someone as respected as Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.):
"Team Mayweather ... is still open to the earlier discussions of having both parties work out a mutually agreeable understanding of the testing, which would be conducted by a mutually-agreed-upon agency."
"... As Floyd has already stated, he does not have a problem with the random procedure and will be under the same requirements as Pacquiao. It is simply hard for him to understand why there is reluctance on Pacquiao's part to agree to do the same."

Miami's self proclaimed Baddest B*tch, Trina made an appearance at Minnesota Vikings tackle Bryant McKinnie's birthday party and had more than a few unkind words for fellow female rapper Khia
Apparently Khia's music was played prior to Trina hitting the stage and she was not too pleased about that.
The female mc's are in the midst of a beef that's been brewing for a couple of years. Jackie O, whom Khia refers to as "Wacky O" is also involved in this battle against Khia.
Anyway, peep the video and see what you think.

They tossed perfection away like a Christmas leftover. They treated it with a casual shrug of the shoulders, disdain even, as if they were beyond such a trivial pursuit. Standing on the precipice of NFL history, the Indianapolis Colts' brain trust arrogantly, foolishly, treated Sunday's second half like a preseason game.
What happens now? Does this guarantee the Colts will reach the Super Bowl? Is that how it works?
At least the 2007 Patriots and 2009 Saints tried to do something special and noble, tried to do something that had been done just once in NFL history. At least they tried to put a scare into the 1972 Miami Dolphins, who should be sending a case of champagne to Colts President Bill Polian and coach Jim Caldwell first thing this morning.
The Colts couldn't have been bothered. They treated the second half like it was gum on the bottom of a shoe. They sent in backup quarterback Curtis Painter to hold on to a 15-10 lead, and it was like having Mel's Detailing put the finishing touches on the Sistine Chapel.
It felt wrong. It was wrong. Cheap, really.
In the end, this doesn't make the Colts any more or less well-equipped to handle the coming postseason. This wasn't about that, and really, nothing changes in terms of the team's Super Bowl aspirations.
What mattered -- or at least mattered to some of us, including the players -- was the chance to become one of football's forever teams. The Colts casually gave away this thing, spitting on football history along the way.

After a nearly three-year hiatus, the popular animated series "The Boondocks" is set to return to TV in the New Year, its creator Aaron McGruder said.
According to Vibe.com, the cartoonist took to his Twitter page on Christmas Day, revealing news that a third season of the series will air in early 2010.
"Finally got an airdate for Season 3," McGruder wrote (@AaronMcGruder). "Not sure if I'm allowed to put it out yet, so I'll just say you got about three months! Merry Xmas!!"
The popular-yet-controversial comic strip-turned-cartoon debuted in 2005 on the Cartoon Network and ran for two seasons before its lengthy hiatus.
The show received criticism for its heavy use of the word "n****", but McGruder defended its use arguing that the "large-scale usage of the word provides the show with a level of realism," says Wikipedia.
During the second season of "The Boondocks", two episodes were banned without any official word from the network.
According to reports, the banned episodes were heavily critical of BET. A source told HipHopDX at the time that BET had been pressured Sony (the studio behind The Boondocks) to ban the episodes and threatened legal action. Cartoon Network publicly stated that "...neither Turner nor Adult Swim were contacted by BET." Two episodes were eventually included in the Season 2 DVD release.
No official word when Season 3 is set to air. Below is a clip of one of the shows.

An escaped convict on the run from an open prison taunted police on Facebook - by posting a picture of himself tucking into his Christmas dinner.
Crook Craig 'Lazie' Lynch, 28, was serving a seven year sentence for aggravated burglary at Hollesley Bay prison in Suffolk when he absconded on September 24 this year.
Last week it came to light that Lynch has successfully evaded Suffolk police ever since, despite posting regular status updates on the social networking website.
Over the festive period arrogant Lynch has revelled in his notoriety and continued to mock the police.
On Christmas Day he posted a picture of himself taking a turkey out of the oven while swearing at the camera.
Underneath he wrote: "if any of you was doubtin my freedom. Here's proof. How the f**k could i get my hands on a bird like this in jail. ha ha."
On the same day Lynch, who now has 1,247 Facebook friends, posted: "YES YES i f**kin made it to xmas i beat their f**kin system and i love it."Cocky
On Boxing Day at 16.41 Lynch posted: "It is freezin out there. I wonder if i can take the right piss and stay out til the summertime ha ha."
While on Sunday morning the cocky criminal taunted police for their failure to track him down.
He wrote: "good mornin everyone. I had a funny feelin that my door was going to come off this mornin then i remembered. The old bill are as thick as s**t. And went back to sleep."
At one point Lynch thought his cover had been blown when he heard the sound of emergency vehicles approaching.
He posted: "Oh No sirens!! Its happening", before adding later "false alarm it was an ambulance."
Elsewhere on Facebook critics of Lynch have set up a "Craig Lazie Lynch is no hero" group to condemn messages of support for the convicted criminal.
The front page of the group, which has 132 members. reads: "How stupid can people be egging this idiot on?"Dont they know that he was jailed for aggravated burglary for seven years???
"How can people think tha this guy is a hero when weve got lads risking their lives every day in afgan, they are the real heros not this prick."
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said routine checks were being performed at Lynch's known addresses and his details had been logged on the Police National Computer.
Officers are liaising with forces elsewhere in the UK as he has links with Middlesex and north-east London.
Lynch is described as white, 5ft 9inches tall, of stocky build, with short brown hair, brown eyes and a beard.

HotSusan Boyle
Boyle, a worldwide YouTube phenomenon, brought a whole new concept to modern celebrity: dowdy chic. With her unglamorous appearance contradicting her rapturous voice, Boyle reminded us of the power of inner beauty, and in the process managed to, at least for a while, outsell every shapely young thing on the planet. Boyle's debut racked up the biggest opening sales figure of the year: over 700,000 units, most of them on (gasp!) physical CD.
Maxwell
After nearly a decade in hiding, the Brooklyn-born R&B singer made the kind of point-perfect comeback that instantly compensated for all the time away. His album "BLACKsummers'night" went platinum, earning some of the most enraptured reviews of the year, bagging no fewer than six Grammy nominations in their wake.
Kings of Leon
They're the first new rock band to break through in far too long. In '09, this brash Nashville foursome enjoyed iTunes' most downloaded album, "Only by the Night." The band also racked up a slew of Grammy nominations for their song "Use Somebody," ensuring they'll become only hotter in 2010.
Taylor Swift
Not only did this Nashville star (who just turned 20) have the top-selling album of '09 (with a tally topping 4 million copies), she became a combination saint/victim when Kanye West tried to ruin her moment of triumph at the MTV Video Music Awards in September. To certify her resurrection, two months later, at the American Music Awards, Swift even beat the sanctified Michael Jackson for the top prize: Artist of the Year.
NotU2
They may have enjoyed the year's most attended tour. But U2's latest CD, "No Line on the Horizon," bombed with fans and became the worst-selling disk of their career.
J.Lo
Yes, she fell on her world-famous rump on the American Music Awards, but she quickly bounced back (literally, it seems) to survive one of pop's goofier, and most blabbed about, public gaffes.
Kanye West
Already a famously bad sport, Kanye crossed the line to genuine jerk-face in the fall when he grabbed the limelight from Taylor Swift during her MTV acceptance speech and insisted that Beyoncé's clip should have won instead. After that, even the impeccably measured President Obama hauled off and called Kanye a "jackass."
Whitney Houston
While the troubled singer's comeback CD has sold strongly (800,000 copies and counting), her interview on Oprah left a bad taste in the mouth, and her intended comeback appearance on "Good Morning America" live from Central Park! found her in scratchy and damaged voice, barely able to croak through four short numbers.
Chris Brown
The young R&B stud achieved genuine pariah status this year by perpetrating the ultimate no-no viciously beating his girlfriend Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party. Brown spent the rest of the year apologizing, but the damage had been done.
