Gucci Mane was expected to to be released from prison in December 2016, after serving time for gun charges. However, three more years have been added to the 1017 Brick Squad boss' sentence after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a fan in Fulton County Superior Court on Monday, September, 15.

The incident occurred at Harlem Nights club in Atlanta on March 16, 2013, when 32-year-old soldier James Leonard Lettley asked Gucci to take a photo with him. The rapper responded by striking him in the head with a champagne bottle.

"I'm in the military. I wanted to get a picture with Gucci Mane, is it OK?" James said he asked a security guard. "I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle. And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face.".

“Rather than accommodating the admiring fan, Davis, for no explicable reason, instead, hit the victim over the head with a vodka bottle and then hurriedly left the club,” District Attorney Paul Howard said in a statement. “The victim sustained a deep laceration to his forehead which required ten stitches.”

The three year sentence was handed down by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Tom Campbell, according to The Atlanta Constitution Journal.

Video After The Jump

Christy Mack stepped out Saturday, September 13, to attend a charity event in Los Angeles in support of an organization called Face Forward.

It was the first public appearance for the adult film star since the brutal August 9 attack in Las Vegas by former Bellator/UFC welterweight War Machine, real name Jonathan Koppenhaver.

12351099498?profile=original

Mack spent several weeks in the hospital recovering from broken bones, teeth and a ruptured liver. She detailed her recovery process over the weekend on Instagram.

12351099300?profile=original

2 days, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and last night.  I've had several dentist visits to make eating more comfortable and make my smile look more normal. I still have a few more dental visits to go.  I've had my eyes checked out and made aware that I'm very lucky to have my vision where it is, since the muscle is tethered by the fragments from the blowout fracture in my left eye.  My multiple nose fractures will be fixed in the next couple of months. While they're fairly symmetrical, my nose is shifted on the inside and out causing breathing issues. (I also make everyone feel how my bone sticks out on the left side because it feels so weird.) My top lip will regain movement in less than 6 months... looking forward to using straws again.  My liver seems to be alright. I was admitted back to the hospital shortly after I was released the first time for some minor treatment, but I did not have to have surgery. While my face is starting to look decent again from the swelling going down, it is still not my own. Cutting what was left of my hair off, and losing 15 lbs(it's a lot when you're 5'1") made me feel even further away from myself. It's hard to look in the mirror every day and see someone you do not know. After having makeup done and dressing up for yesterday's charity event, I felt much better about how I look now. It made me feel more normal, and beautiful for the first time in a very long time. The event that I went to was for Face Forward. A non profit charity that funds surgeries for women and children that have been in horrible situations that require them to have reconstructive surgery. They are not funding me, my surgeries are being donated by other doctors. I met many wonderful people and look forward to working more with them in the future.

When TMZ spoke with her at the Face Forward event she looked great and said she was feeling better.

"I'm actually doing very well, healing really well," Mack said. "I've had a lot of great support from my friends and my fans, so that's definitely helping me along. It was a little bit of a rough recovery. It has been a little over a month now. I was in a lot of pain at first, but now I'm feeling really good. I just have a couple of more surgeries to go through."

Koppenhaver is currently sitting in a Las Vegas jail cell facing 32 charges, including strangulation, attempted murder, sexual assault, burglary, coercion and kidnapping.

If convicted he could be sentenced to life in prison.

Video After The Jump

ATLANTA (Associated Press) — Under pressure to ramp up the U.S. response to the Ebola crisis, President Barack Obama is ordering 3,000 U.S. military personnel to West Africa amid worries that the financial and human cost of the outbreak is growing exponentially in a region overwhelmed by the deadly virus.

The influx is part of a heightened U.S. role that will include erecting new treatment and isolation facilities, training health care workers and boosting communications and transportation support, U.S. officials said.

Obama was announcing the stepped-up effort Tuesday during a visit to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta following appeals for a greater U.S. effort to confront the crisis and alarm that the Ebola virus could spread and even mutate into a more easily transmitted disease.

Barack Obama, Kasi Reed, John Eaves

The new U.S. response came as the World Health Organization warned that the number of Ebola cases in West Africa could start doubling every three weeks and that the crisis could end up costing nearly $1 billion to contain. Joanne Liu, president of Doctors Without Borders, said the global response was falling short. "The window of opportunity to contain this outbreak is closing," Liu told a meeting Tuesday at the United Nations in Geneva.

Nearly 5,000 people have become ill from Ebola in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Nigeria and Senegal since it was first recognized in March. WHO says it anticipates that figure could rise to more than 20,000. At least 2,400 people have died, with Liberia bearing the brunt.

12351088856?profile=original

With the addition of military personnel, administration officials said that the new U.S. initiatives aim to:

—Train as many as 500 health care workers a week.

—Erect 17 heath care facilities in the region of 100 beds each.

—Set up a joint command headquartered in Monrovia, Liberia, to coordinate between U.S. and international relief efforts.

—Provide home health care kits to hundreds of thousands of households, including 50,000 that the U.S. Agency for International Development will deliver to Liberia this week.

—Carry out a home- and community-based campaign to train local populations on how to handle exposed patients.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said the 3,000 troops would not provide direct care to Ebola patients. A substantial number of troops will be stationed at an intermediate base in Senegal, Earnest said, with others at locations in Liberia where they will provide logistical, training, engineering and other support.

Meanwhile, a Senate panel held an afternoon hearing on the crisis. Expected to testify were Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and Dr. Kent Brantly, an American physician who contracted Ebola while working in Liberia but recovered after treatment with an experimental drug. Obama met with Brantly at the White House on Tuesday before departing for Atlanta.

Obama administration officials said money for the stepped-up effort to combat the disease would come from $500 million in overseas contingency operations, such as the war in Afghanistan, that the Pentagon already has asked Congress to redirect to carry out humanitarian efforts in Iraq and in West Africa. Officials said it would take about two weeks to get U.S. forces on the ground.

Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations African affairs subcommittee, applauded the new U.S. commitment. Coons earlier had called for the Obama administration to step up its role in West Africa.

"This humanitarian intervention should serve as a firewall against a global security crisis that has the potential to reach American soil," he said.

But House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, faulted the administration's response.

"Frankly, I'm a bit surprised the administration hasn't acted more quickly to address what is a serious threat, not just to Africa but to others across the world," the Ohio Republican said. He predicted action "in the coming weeks" by the executive and legislative branches of government "to look at how do we best contain this very horrible disease."

Ebola is spread through direct contact with the bodily fluids of sick patients, making doctors and nurses especially vulnerable to contracting the virus, which has no vaccine or approved treatment.

The U.S. effort will include medics and corpsmen for treatment and training, engineers to help erect the treatment facilities and specialists in logistics to assist in patient transportation.

Obama's trip to the CDC comes a day after the United States also demanded a stepped-up international response to the outbreak. The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, called Monday for an emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council on Thursday, warning that the potential risk of the virus could "set the countries of West Africa back a generation."

Power said the meeting would mark a rare occasion when the Security Council, which is responsible for threats to international peace and security, addresses a public health crisis.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was expected to brief the council along with World Health Organization chief Dr. Margaret Chan and Dr. David Nabarro, the recently named U.N. coordinator to tackle the disease, as well as representatives from the affected countries.

The U.S. has spent more than $100 million responding to the outbreak and has offered to operate treatment centers for patients.

While at the CDC, Obama also will be briefed about cases of respiratory illness being reported in the Midwest, the White House said. Public health officials are monitoring a high number of reported illnesses associated with human enterovirus 68 in Iowa, Kansas, Ohio and elsewhere.

Will the Iggy Azalea sex tape ever see the light of day? Despite threats by the entertainer's lawyers to sue if it's released, the man in the tape with her believes he has the legal rights to distribute it.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Houston rapper Jefe Wine has Iggy's, real name Amethyst Amelia Kelly, signature on a contract giving him exclusive rights to "manufacture, sell, distribute and advertise 'any' recording embodying visual images."

12351092062?profile=original

Despite the fact that the agreement is a recording contract, Jefe believes it also covers the sex tape and gives him the rights to sell it. It also prevents Iggy from legally blocking it.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. raked in at least $32 million for his win over Marcos Maidana this past Saturday, but apparently he's not the type to tip.

Nik Nguyen, a waitress at club Rehab at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, says the champ came in with an entourage of 150 people on Sunday. She was excited to serve the group and thought she would be rewarded financially.

12351082484?profile=original

The group ordered a boatload of drinks, according to TMZ. The full order included.

5 bottles of Patrone - $2,375
3 Grey Goose  - $1,425
6 bottles of Ciroc - $2,850
20 bottles of Luc Belaire Rose champagne - $11,500
1  6-liter bottle of Luc Belaire Rose - $6,500
200 chicken wings - $600
1 fruit platter - $55

Rehab management comped the entire $25,305 bill. Nguyen noticed the group making it rain on the stage dancers, but nobody, including Jamie Foxx left her a penny.

12351083059?profile=original

Do you think Money May simply forgot to tip or is a cheapskate? Should he go back and at least give the waitress the customary fifteen percent?
