The FBI has conducted a raid on rapper/producer Mally Mall's Las Vegas home and escort service. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the feds conducted the Monday morning, September 29, raid during an investigation into human trafficking.

Mally, real name Jamal Rashid, is one of the stars of VH1's reality television show Love and Hip Hop Hollywood. He wasn't home when the FBI showed up and no arrests were made. The investigation is in it's early stages.

Mally has worked with a long list of the music industry's heavy hitters, including Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, Sean Kingston, Lloyd, YG and French Montana. He also revealed recently that he brokered the peace treaty between Drake and Chris Brown, squashing their long running beef.

Video After The Jump

As we previously reported, Keyshia Cole was arrested Friday, September 19, for beating the brakes off a woman she found at her boyfriend Birdman's West L.A. condo when she made a 5 a.m. visit.

12351125894?profile=original

The victim, Sabrina Mercadel, has been working for Cash Money Records for more than ten years. Sources close to her told TMZ that there is nothing intimate going on between her and Baby.

On the morning of the attack Sabrina was exiting a bathroom when Cole spotted her and yelled, "What are you doing with my man?!" After that, the claws came out.

12351126678?profile=original

TMZ caught up with Cole's mother, Frankie Lons, at her daughter's party for the release of her forthcoming album Point of No Return on Sunday and asked her opinion on Birdman's relationship with Cole.

In addition to wanting to clip the rapper's "wings," Frankie made a few rapid fire gun sounds for added effect. Check it out below.

Video After The Jump

Walter Earl Morrison is cooling his heals inside a Phoenix, Arizona jail after being busted for theft at his job as a UPS worker.

The 20-year old was unloading cargo from a plane last week at Sky Harbor Airport when he spotted a package he thought contained cash. He stuffed the package inside his shirt. When he got home he discovered what he had stolen was actually a diamond.

12351109875?profile=original

According to WPTV, Morrison had no idea the stone was worth $160,000. He wound up trading it for a $20 bag of weed.

It didn't take long before he was caught. Morrison was fired by UPS and arrested. He's been charged with felony theft. His next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, in the Maricopa County Superior Court.

50 Cent is a man that never rests on his laurels. Despite achieving success on so many levels, he continues to work just as hard post-fame as he did when he was struggling to to make it into the music business.

He recently talked with Adelle Platon of Vibe about the passing of his grandmother, the new season of his television show Dream School: NYC, his friendship with Ciara and working with Marlon Wayans on a new comedy project.

VIBE: What are some of the life lessons from Queens that you took to Dream School?
50 Cent: You gotta pay attention to your surroundings. When we get into Dream School, you watch those kids make those adjustments right there in front of you. These kids would be out of school but it's one of those scenarios where they're receiving the opportunity they wouldn't under any other circumstances. You see this television show when it's a different, full life opportunity for everyone on it. Reality television doesn't stand for that. It's a huge relevance that's obvious to the show with 3,030,000 kids in America dropping out [of high school] a year. Every 26 seconds, someone drops out. Every day, 8,300 people drop out.

G-Unity, as a foundation, we focus on providing academically for low-income people since 2005 so I've been in the same area as [SundanceTV] 'cause I make those donations and offer scholarships at different points to people. When the opportunity for me to be a part of this showed up, I said yeah, it makes perfect sense for me to do it. Then the young lady at the show (student Raya) from the Ukraine confirmed for me that [what I do] does matter and is effective. Everyone needs that.

Were there any students on the show that resonated more with who you were as a child?

(Whispers) I wasn't really bad in school... (Whispers)

Is that a secret?
Yeah, it's top secret. (Laughs) I had to be two people growing up. I had to be aggressive enough to get by in the environment and then be my grandma's baby at home. So when I say I was hustling since I was 12, I was between 3 and 6pm when they thought I was in the after school program. See, my grandmama would go out of her way for me. She would make sure I at least had the new shoes to go back to school with and there was like nine kids in the house. It was pretty rough. You're used to taking something after somebody done with it and the problem is the shoes were Kangaroos. (Snickers) and I could never tell her those ain't the right shoes, 'Ma, after you knew what she went through to get 'em for you and she would go out of her way to make sure you had 'em first.

12351120692?profile=original

How'd you find out about your grandmother's death? Were you in the middle of work?

I had to go to Power to rehearse the action sequences and I was on the treadmill, working with the stunt coordinators, when my aunt called me and told me I needed to come to the hospital. I had the chance to talk to her a little bit before she passed. My grandmama was coherent the whole time. I've seen a lot of people die around me but I saw them die on the corner that we were standing on. Outside is a different danger. It's like you go to the hospital, [my grandma's] up, she's there, she's alert. She responded to my voice and then after I see her, her blood pressure starts to drop and then she's gone.

With new seasons of Power and Dream School coming down the pipeline, what will you and Marlon Wayans be cooking up?
The Wayans have such a successful portfolio and I'm interested in the comedy era. We're developing something now and it'll be exciting.

12351120891?profile=original

Movie? Television show?
Sometimes the idea starts out for television and then it's a better movie so it may shift in time. I don't wanna pigeonhole it till we see it in the right place but Marlon is dope. When we met, we talked about actual things away from the project. I like him as a person. He's somebody I could hang out with away from the business.

Given your success financially beyond rap, who would you say is your business mentor?

I don't have a business mentor but I do admire moves from guys at different points. Even though I give him shit at points, Puff is talented. Jay too. Staying power in a culture that shifts and moves as fast as hip hop does is hard. There's a significance in being able to stay in it without actually making hit music. It's amazing that Puff is still in it because he doesn't make it. If I told you what to say and you said it, you and me would be eligible to be Puff. Everything else, he's operating correctly so it keeps him around.

12351122064?profile=original

There's speculation on the Internet that you and Ciara are back together.
Ciara is a really good friend of mine and she came to show me support when I lost my grandmother because she had her relationship with my grandmother. People don't know but we have been friends for about four years so that's why [people] are surprised to come and see her support. It's unfortunate that somebody would take a picture [of her at my grandmother's funeral]. You got people out there that are supposed to just follow and not have any significance at all. At the end, they look for any opportunity to take a photograph to get their followers up. Some things are supposed to be entertainment and some things are supposed to be part of your life. When your personal life become business, it gets interesting.

Video After The Jump

Shawnna opens up to VladTV about getting barred from entering the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards, and says that it was a decision made by her former boss Ludacris and his brother Chaka Zulu. She explains that Chaka served as executive producer for the show, and she was shocked to learn of the decision after traveling all the way to Atlanta.

The "Gettin' Some" rapper says that she doesn't understand why Chaka and Luda would not want her at the show, as she feels there was no bad blood when she left DTP. When asked why she parted, Shawnna explains that her contract was up at the time, and her attorney wanted to do some auditing of her numbers, which is when she was let go without question.

Today, the Chicago rapper says she's never harbored bad blood over leaving DTP, and is surprised that Ludacris and his brother would act this way towards her. Shawnna closes by saying that she only went to the awards show after BET showed her love, and she thought it would be a perfect way to promote her single "Getting To It."

Video And Pics After The Jump

OKLAHOMA CITY (Associated Press) — A man fired from an Oklahoma food processing plant beheaded a woman with a knife and was attacking another worker when he was shot and wounded by a company official, police say.

Reserve sheriff's Deputy Mark Vaughan shot Nolan as he attacked 2nd victim

Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said his department is waiting until Alton Nolen, 30, regains consciousness to arrest him on unspecified charges. He said Nolen severed the head of 54-year-old Colleen Hufford during Thursday's attack at the Vaughn Foods plant in Moore, a suburb of Oklahoma City.

"Yes, she was beheaded," Lewis told The Associated Press.

Lewis said Nolen then stabbed Traci Johnson, 43, a number of times before Mark Vaughan, a reserve sheriff's deputy and the company's chief operating officer, shot him.

"This was not going to stop if he didn't stop it. It could have gotten a lot worse," Lewis said.

460x.jpg

Lewis said his department asked the FBI to help investigate after co-workers told investigators that Nolen had recently started trying to convert several employees to Islam. He said police asked the FBI to look into Lewis' background because of the nature of the attack, which followed a series of high-profile videotaped beheadings by Islamic State militants.

In a statement, FBI Special Agent in Charge James E. Finch said the motive for the attack had not been determined, but that there is no reason to believe there was a threat to anyone else.

A law enforcement official familiar with the investigation told the AP that there was indication that Nolen was a Muslim convert and was trying to convert others to Islam. However, the officials said there is thus far no connection to terrorism and no evidence of any suspicious travelling Nolen might have done.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, said Nolen had a Facebook page that was of potential interest to investigators, but that "there doesn't appear to be any nexus to terrorism right now." But the official also said investigators were still looking into Nolen's background.

12351125860?profile=original

Nolen posted on Facebook under the name Jah'Keem Yisrael and declared "SHARIA LAW IS COMING!!!!" He also espoused hatred for America

Johnson and the suspect were hospitalized and in stable condition Friday, Lewis said.

According to Oklahoma Department of Corrections records, Nolen served time in prison and is on probation for assault and battery of a police officer. He also was convicted of cocaine possession with the intent to distribute in 2011.

The records show that Nolen has what appear to be religious tattoos, including one referencing Jesus and one in Arabic that means "peace be with you."

Lewis said Nolen was fired in a building that houses the company's human resources office, then immediately drove to the entrance of the business. He said he didn't know why Nolen was fired.

A company spokeswoman said the company was "shocked and deeply saddened" by the attack.
