Sharing introspective knowledge through both his lyricism and his actions, Lord Jamar demonstrates his perspective on everything from the American illusion of ownership to what actually prompted the killing of former Libyan leader Muammar Gadaffi during a recent sit-down with VladTV.
The celebrated wordsmith delves into the ownership dialogue by challenging its very notion. He matter-of-factly states, "Even the car you thought you bought you don't own; the government owns it." The Brand Nubian MC proclaims that since a registration and a driver's license are required, that nullifies the notion of actual ownership.
As the conversation progresses, Lord Jamar asserts, "Actually, in America you're not allowed to own anything; it's all about debt -- the transference of debt, but there is no real ownership."
Enlighten yourself and be sure to watch the entire clip. The candid Lord Jamar also shares his belief on the difference between money and currency, the inherent value of gold and silver, and why Gaddaffi's plan to formulate a gold-backed financial system led to his ultimate demise.
Daz Dillinger recently took some time out to chat with VladTV about Suge Knight's trial and David Kenner's role at Death Row Records. From calling Kenner a "stiff face f*****" to making light of Suge's case, the producer and rapper's exclusive interview is full of comedic relief.
"P.O.P. Hold it down" was Daz's response in regards to Suge Knight being "legally blind." Dillinger believes that with a bail set at $25 million, the former music exec will never see the light of day again (though he may think otherwise now that his bail was lowered). His next plan of action? "I'm going in there and rob[bing] whoever got the $25 million bail. I'm taking everything out his house because he won't be coming back," he jokes.
Dillinger feels that the people closest to Suge Knight are already cleaning him out. "Thats what they do. You go to jail, muthaf***as close to you, they gon' hit you," Daz jokingly states.
See what else he had to say about Suge and David Kenner above.

Aspiro, the companyJay Zbought in March for$56 millionto launch his new TIDAL streaming company is doing some in-house cleaning. The biggest domino to fall is former Aspiro CEO,Andy Chen.
Chen's departure was announced by TIDAL.
TIDAL’s new interim CEO is Peter Tonstad – a former CEO of parent company Aspiro Group. He has a better understanding of the industry and a clear vision for how the company is looking to change the status quo. He's streamlining resources to ensure talent is maximized to enhance the customer experience. We've eliminated a handful of positions and refocused our company-wide talent to address departments that need support and cut redundancies. TIDAL’s offices globally will remain and grow: we are already hiring for several new positions now. We're excited about our future and what's in-store for fans who want the best listening experience.
25 other employees have left the company due to "streamlining" and "redundancies," according to Business Insider.
Meanwhile,Jay Zis calling subscribers personally to thank them for signing up for TIDAL.
"He called some of his fans and one of them made the funniest comment. He said 'This is the best customer service call I've ever received!,'" Tidal executive Vania Schlogeltold Business Insider.
I believe in TIDAL and what the team is doing to affect the change the music industry needs. We’re streamlining the company and refocusing our resources to ensure the platform continues to grow, and listeners can make a connection to their favorite artists. No one else is doing this.

McHenry posted an apology on Twitter, saying she allowed her emotions to get away from her during a stressful situation at a Virginia business. "I ... said some insulting and regrettable things."
"As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake," she wrote.
'Lose some weight, baby girl'
On the roughly one-minute long video that was captured by a surveillance camera, McHenry says to an employee at a register: "I'm in the news, sweetheart. I will (expletive) sue this place."
The employee tells McHenry she's being recorded, but it doesn't stop her from continuing her rant.
"That's why I have a degree and you don't," she says. "I wouldn't work at a scumbag place like this. Makes my skin crawl even being here."
Later McHenry says, "maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me, huh?"
The employee apparently says something about McHenry's hair and the color of her roots.
McHenry sasses back, saying, "Oh, like yours, 'cause they look so stunning, 'cause I'm on television and you're in a (expletive) trailer, honey. Lose some weight, baby girl."
CNN reached out to the Arlington towing company for comment but didn't hear immediately back.
Wouldn't, in a just world, the punishment for Britt McHenry be working at a tow yard for a week? Get some empathy & respect for hard work?
The reporter is one of several ESPN on-air talents to be suspended in the past 12 months.
In February, anchor Keith Olbermann was not on the air for most of a week after a Twitter spat that the anchor had with fans of Penn State University. Bill Simmons was suspended in September for three weeks for calling NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a liar. Commentator Stephen A. Smith was suspended in July for a week for widely criticized remarks about domestic abuse that referred to possible "provocation" by victims.
With ESPN just one year
McHenry is based in Washington and the incident happened across the Potomac River in Arlington.
McHenry joined ESPN in 2014. At the time of her hiring, ESPN's senior vice president and director of news, Vince Doria, praised her knack for getting interviews with major sports celebrities.
"In a relatively short time, Britt has established a reputation for strong, aggressive reporting in the D.C. area, and an ability to land big interviews," said Doria. "Her presence there will be a great benefit to ESPN's newsgathering and, as with all of our bureau reporters, she will be assigned to high-profile stories around the country."
Before ESPN, she was with WJLA in Washington. McHenry joined the station in 2008 and the sports staff in 2010.
She went to Stetson as an undergraduate and Northwestern for graduate studies in journalism.
Safaree Samuels and Nicki Minaj both appear to have moved on from their break up, but the news of Nicki's engagement to Meek Mill has angered someone enough to create a fake Safaree Twitter account, dissing his ex.
The fake account, which has 5,732 followers compared to SB's 148K verified account is being taken seriously by some Twitter users who haven't bothered to check both accounts.
A rep for Safaree told TMZ they are doing everything they can to get the clone account taken down and deny the rapper's involvement.
