Graphic details of the murder of a man named Kevin Bacon have emerged after the alleged murder reportedly admitted to cannibalism.
Bacon, a 25-year-old hairstylist, met up with accused killer Mark Latunski on Christmas Eve after matching on Grindr, according to Michigan Live.
When Bacon never showed up at Christmas breakfast, his family called police and, four days later, Bacon’s body was found tied up by his ankles in Latunski’s house.
Latunski, 50, told police that he stabbed Bacon in the back and slit his throat, killing him, then hung him up from the rafters, according to Michigan Live. Then, he told police, he cut off his date’s testicles and ate them.
Emily Latunski, Mark’s ex-wife, petitioned the court in August to suspend his time with their children, citing his diagnoses of “major depression, paranoid schizophrenia and traits of a personality disorder,” according to Michigan Live.
“To my knowledge, I couldn’t force him to see a therapist or take medication,” Jamie Arnold, Mark Latunski’s husband, told the paper. “Never in a million years did I think he’d be capable of doing such a horrendous crime.”
Latunski has been charged with one count each of open murder and mutilation of a human body.
The other, famous Kevin Bacon mourned the 25-year-old’s death last week.
“For obvious reasons I’m thinking this morning about the friends and Family of this young person Kevin Bacon,” the “Footloose” star wrote on Instagram. "His life was taken from him much too soon. His love was hair dressing. I bet he would have done a great job on this mess on my head. RIP KB.'

(CNN) A Kenyan pastor stabbed his wife during a church service and then slit his throat in a murder-suicide witnessed by the shocked congregation, local police told CNN on Monday.
On Sunday, Elijah Misiko, an assistant pastor with the Ground for God's Gospel Church in Mombasa, left his front row seat and approached his wife, senior pastor Ann Mughoi, on the pulpit and stabbed her with one of the knives he'd hidden in an envelope, police said eyewitnesses told them.
"He walked up to his wife while the church was praying as if he wanted to whisper something to her," Mombasa sub-county police commander Julius Kiragu said. "Then he took one of the knives and stabbed her (wife) two times. He believed she was dead. He then stabbed himself three times in the stomach and slit his throat."
Misiko died instantly from his stab wounds and Mughoi died at a local hospital a few hours later, police said. The couple had been engaged in a long-running feud over the ownership and leadership of the church, Kiragu told CNN.
In 2017, Misiko was detained by the police in Mombasa after his wife alleged he planned to kill her, Kiragu said.
Misiko was released the following day after police said they found the accusations untrue, Kiragu said. The couple, which had four children, had lived apart since the dispute began two years ago, police said.
"She had been trying to stay away from the husband since the dispute over the ownership of the church began," Kiragu told CNN. "They had even reported the matter to church leaders but they were unable to resolve the dispute."
Misiko left a 17-page suicide note titled "Betrayal and it's Consequences."
In it, he accused Mughoi of taking everything they accumulated over 19 years, seizing his plot of land and church instruments/equipment by force, denied him visitation with his kids, was planning to marry someone else and changed ownership of the church they founded together, to her name alone.

LOS ANGELES — Harvey Weinstein, the former film mogul whose alleged pattern of sexual abuse fueled the #MeToo movement, was charged in Los Angeles on Monday with sexually assaulting two women, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney.
The charges come on the eve of jury selection in a criminal trial against Weinstein in New York, where he has been charged with felony sexual assault.
Weinstein is being charged in Los Angeles with raping one woman and sexually assaulting another in separate incidents on two consecutive days in February 2013, the district attorney's office said.
"We believe the evidence will show that the defendant used his power and influence to gain access to his victims and then commit violent crimes against them," District Attorney Jackie Lacey said, adding that prosecutors were recommending bail be set at $5 million.
Lacey's office has been reviewing as many as nine alleged sexual assault cases against the producer, as NBC News has previously reported. The cases are being reviewed by the office's entertainment sex crimes task force.
The news of the charges came just hours after Rose McGowan, Rosanna Arquette and other women who have accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct rallied near a New York City courthouse as he arrived for the first day of his criminal trial.
Weinstein, 67, entered the courthouse hunched over a walker after a reported back surgery. When asked how he was feeling, the visibly disheveled ex-producer smiled wanly.
But across the street, several women who have said they were harassed or assaulted by Weinstein insisted he was undeserving of sympathy, recounting his pattern of alleged serial sexual abuse and decrying the culture they claim enabled him for far too long.
"He looked cowardly. He wouldn't look at us. He wouldn't make eye contact," said Sarah Ann Masse, a writer and performer who alleged in an exclusive interview with Variety that Weinstein sexually harassed her while wearing his underwear during a 2008 job interview. "This trial is a cultural reckoning, regardless of its legal outcome."
Masse called on the jury to "make the right decision and put this dangerous man behind bars, where he can live out the rest of his days paying for his crimes."
Weinstein faces charges that he raped a woman in a Manhattan hotel room in 2013 and performed a forcible sex act on another woman in 2006. The activity in the courtroom Monday was largely procedural before proceedings were adjourned for the day, with jury selection expected to begin Tuesday.
If convicted as charged, Weinstein faces up to 28 years in state prison. He has vehemently denied all accusations of nonconsensual sexual activity.
Weinstein has pleaded not guilty in the case.
In all, more than 80 women have accused him of sexual misconduct going back decades, but the New York criminal trial centers on allegations from just two women. The allegations first came to light more than two years ago in investigative reports published by The New York Times and The New Yorker.
Gloria Allred, the powerful civil rights lawyer who is representing Weinstein accusers in Los Angeles and New York, said in a statement that the "walls of justice are closing in on" him.
"Mr. Weinstein's journey to justice is long overdue and the criminal justice system in Los Angeles is now forcing him to confront the accusers against him. Women are no longer willing to suffer in silence and are willing to testify under oath in a court of law," Allred said.
"We look forward to a just result and I am confident that Mr. Weinstein will receive the justice that he deserves," she added.
In a notable development Monday, the judge in the case ruled that Weinstein's defense cannot call to the witness stand the New York police detective who allegedly told an accuser to delete personal cell phone files to hide them from prosecutors, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.
The judge, James B. Burke, ruled that Weinstein's lawyers cannot call NYPD Det. Nicholas DiGaudio, but they may question other witnesses about him.
The union representing DiGaudio, the Detectives' Endowment Association, has previously claimed he was “simply trying to get to the truth” and did not seek to influence the probe, according to The Associated Press.

A twisted couple in Oklahoma has been charged with murdering a 17-year-old girl as “payback” over a sexually transmitted disease, court documents show.
Andrew Hall, 30, and Cheyenne Blalock, 17, were charged Friday with first-degree murder in the death of Kirstan Patterson, who was found shot in the head Wednesday just hours after she was reported missing, KOTV reported.
“Be very careful who you hang out with and who you run around [with], because it can make a difference,” Mayes County Sheriff Mike Reed told the station. “I promise you your parents would rather get up at 1 in the morning and come and give you a ride home than something detrimental happen to you.”
Blalock told investigators that Hall had discussed killing Patterson as “payback” for a sexually transmitted disease and told her to text the teen to meet up with them on New Year’s Day, court documents show.
Hall made Blalock ride in the back of his car beneath a blanket as they picked up Patterson, she told deputies.
But Hall told investigators he thought Blalock — who was armed with knives — was “only going to physically assault” Patterson and was afraid she would turn violent if he didn’t comply with her demands, court records show.
Deputies allege that either Hall or Blalock then shot Patterson with a rifle they grabbed from Hall’s trunk. Investigators from the Mayes County Sheriff’s Office said Blalock and Hall have implicated each other in the slaying, the Tulsa World reported.
Blalock, meanwhile, has denied witnessing the fatal shooting, but said she heard two gunshots while at the Spring Creek Recreation Area. She admitted touching Patterson’s body to confirm that she was dead and claimed Hall tried to clean up the scene, according to an affidavit.
“Blalock said Hall poured bleach on the body in some effort to destroy evidence, and then Hall moved the body into the water,” the affidavit says.
Hall and Blalock had allegedly discussed several ways of killing Patterson. The teen, who attended Chouteau-Mazie Public Schools, played volleyball for her high school, KTUL reported.
“Our heart goes out to the family,” Mayes County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Rod Howell told Tulsa World. “I’ve got kids, and I just couldn’t fathom.”
Hall and Blalock, who are set to return to court Thursday, remain jailed on $1 million bond, the newspaper reported.
