God knows I try not to take most of what Candace Owens seriously because I believe she intentionally pushes buttons for clout. But one of her recent tweets is beyond the pale.
"Absolutely appalling the way Russians are being treated in America and abroad," she wrote. "That our leaders and government institutions are allowing for ... and at times calling for this discrimination following their global "black lives matter" hysteria is quite telling. Russian lives matter."
The Russian Embassy in USA approved of this message and retweeted it from their official Twitter account.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's armed forces are currently committing war crimes in Ukraine. There's worldwide condemnation of his actions ... not the Russian people. Many of whom oppose their country's invasion of Ukraine.
Thoughts?
Absolutely appalling the way Russians are being treated in America and abroad. That our leaders and government institutions are allowing for—and at times calling for this discrimination following their global “black lives matter” hysteria is quite telling.

The drama between Kanye West, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her new boyfriend Pete Davidson continued on Sunday, 3-13-2002, as the rapper took to his Instagram to unload about his 8-year old daughter North West's recent TikTok video and alleged texts between him and Davidson.
"I told y’all before about this tik tok stuff. Now my 8 year old on here singing she fell in love with an emo girl. Leftist don’t want fathers to have no say in our childrens lives," West wrote. "I don’t want my kids at godless Sierra Canyon school I got a voice and I’m not having this And Perez Hilton you still ain’t answer my question And never put my name next to the word abuse Don’t play with my name like that I’m a real person who wants the best for my children And DL Hughley is a pawn Yeah I know a king not supposed to address a pawn but I address everything and find addresses DL So don’t speak on me or my children I can afford to hurt u."
The shots at Hughley were in response to the comedian's comments in a recent interview with DJ Vlad, in which he said Kanye's recent behavior toward Kim as "stalker-ish."
"We gone stop letting practicing drug addicts be used by leftist to Willie Lynch our Future Black people with our own opinion are not allowed to speak in public I am the glitch DL." Kanye went on and degraded Hughley as he penned hateful curses at the comedian, "God does not like you You have no favor Your family hates you I would hate to be related to somebody who used to be famous Now you just known as a broke pawn."

LVIV, Ukraine (AP) Kyiv Region police says a U.S. video journalist has died and another journalist was injured when they were attacked by Russian forces in Ukraine.
The police force said Sunday on its official website that Russian troops opened fire on the car of Brent Renaud and another journalist in Irpin near the capital. It said the injured journalist was being taken to a hospital in Kyiv.
A New York Times spokesperson said Renaud, 50, was a “talented filmmaker who had contributed to The New York Times over the years.” It said he was not working for the publication at the time of his death.
The police force said: “Of course, the profession of journalism carries risks. Nonetheless, U.S. citizen Brent Renaud paid with his life trying to highlight the deceit, cruelty and ruthlessness of the aggressor.”
Asked about the reports, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan told CBS News that the U.S. government would be consulting with the Ukrainians to determine how this happened and would then “execute appropriate consequences.”
“This is part and parcel of what has been a brazen aggression on the part of the Russians, where they have targeted civilians, they have targeted hospitals, they have targeted places of worship, and they have targeted journalists,” Sullivan said.

Jussie Smollett believes there's one overarching reason he was sent to jail, and it's not because of the hoax ... he says it's because he's Black.
Sources with direct knowledge and in constant touch with the "Empire" actor tell TMZ ... Jussie fully expected to get jail time. He told his defense team before sentencing he felt he would be treated more harshly than other defendants convicted of a non-violent crime ... all because of the color of his skin. He thinks it's more evidence of systemic racism in the judicial system.
Jussie told his team after sentencing he was dead-on when he predicted the outcome ... based on the animosity the judge showed toward him. He called it "unfortunate" and "sad."
As you know, the judge read Jussie the riot act, saying the hoax was rooted in a desire for more fame and more attention.
We reached out to the court for comment, and a rep for the Cook County Chief Judge's Office tells TMZ ... "Judges can't comment on pending cases, and it's still pending."
As we reported ... Jussie will be held in protective custody -- as requested -- while serving his time behind bars, with security cameras and an officer with a body-worn camera monitoring his cell.
Our sources say Jussie spoke out in court about not being suicidal because he wanted to make it clear to the public that if something were to happen to him in jail, it was foul play ... and our sources referenced the Jeffrey Epstein outcome, and that was what was on Jussie's mind when he made the comment.
Jussie was taken into custody following Thursday's sentencing, and we're told he spoke with his defense team Friday ... telling them he's OK and filled with hope.
Traci Braxton, the sister of Toni Braxton, has died ... TMZ has learned.
Traci's Husband Kevin Surratt tells TMZ ... "We have come to a time where we must inform the public that after a year of privately undergoing a series of treatment for Esophageal cancer our beloved Traci Braxton has gone on to glory."
We're told Traci's sisters, mom & friends were by her side when she passed.
Traci appeared on the family's reality show, "Braxton Family Values." She was an actress, best known for "Sinners Wanted." She also appeared in "There's a Stranger in my House" & "Chaaw." She recorded a hit song, "Last Call," that rose to #16 on the Billboard Hot 100. She also recorded "Broken Things" featuring her sisters, Toni, Towanda & Trina.
As you know, Traci has famous sisters ... Toni, Towanda, Tamar & Trina.
The family has experienced other recent tragedies. Her niece, Lauren Braxton, died from a heroin & fentanyl OD back in 2019 at age 24.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — The parents of Gabby Petito claim in a new Florida lawsuit that Brian Laundrie told his parents he had killed her when he returned home alone from their ill-fated western trip in a converted van.
The lawsuit filed Thursday in Sarasota County Circuit Court contends that Laundrie told his parents on Aug. 28 that he had killed Petito, 22, his fiancee of about a year at the time.
Petito’s disappearance on the trip & the subsequent discovery of her slain body Sept. 19 in a Wyoming national park became a national obsession, augmented by the later search for Laundrie in a Florida nature preserve.
The FBI concluded that Laundrie strangled Petito — with whom he had previous domestic quarrels & violence & that Laundrie fatally shot himself in the Carlton Reserve swamp after returning home alone Sept. 1.
The lawsuit contends that Christopher & Roberta Laundrie concealed that their son had confessed to the murder from investigators & Petito’s parents while the search for Gabby Petito was ongoing.
“In doing so, Christopher Laundrie and Roberta Laundrie acted with malice or great indifference to the rights of (Gabby’s parents) Joseph Petito and Nicole Schmidt,” the lawsuit claims, adding that this conduct was “shocking, atrocious & utterly intolerable in a civilized community.”
The lawsuit adds that the Laundries were “making arrangements for him (Brian) to leave the country.” No evidence was included to back up this claim.
The lawsuit seeks damages of at least $30,000. An attorney for the Laundries, Steven Bertolino, said in a text message Friday that his clients were fully within their rights not to talk. He also denied the lawsuit’s claims in general.
NEW YORK (AP) — An 83-year-old ex-convict who served two decades in prison for fatally shooting a girlfriend, got out & then went back to jail for killing another girlfriend a year later, is now charged in a new crime: The dismemberment of a woman whose head was found in the parolee’s apartment.
Prosecutors identified the ex-convict as Harvey Marcelin, who was freed from prison in 2019. Marcelin was arrested in New York City last week on a charge of concealing a human corpse after being recorded on surveillance video abandoning a bag later found to contain the victim’s torso.
A grand jury charged Marcelin on Thursday with murder.
The Brooklyn district attorney’s office identified the victim as Susan Leyden, a 68-year-old Brooklyn resident.
Though identified as a man in court filings in past decades, Marcelin was booked this time as a woman. Acquaintances told reporters Marcelin identified in recent years as a woman.
Marcelin’s previous convictions were for killing live-in girlfriends, according to court documents.
A jury found Marcelin guilty of murder in 1963 for fatally shooting Jacqueline Bonds inside a Manhattan apartment. At the time, Marcelin was also facing an attempted rape charge involving another woman. The judge gave Marcelin life in prison after jurors were unable to agree on whether the crime justified a death penalty.
Marcelin was paroled in 1984 & was arrested the following year for fatally stabbing another girlfriend and leaving her body in a trash bag in the street. Marcelin was convicted of manslaughter & sentenced to six to 12 years in prison.
