Police investigating the murder of emerging Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin say he was killed during a fight over a piece of candy at a recording studio Friday (December 16).

According to a report by WSBTV, Dunkin grabbed some candy from another man, the two got into an argument which led to a fight. The 6'8 Dunkin was apparently getting the upper hand in the fight, that's when the other man went to retrieve a gun and came back to shoot Dunkin.

Dunkin, real name Mario Hamilton, was rushed to Atlanta's Grady Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead soon after arrival.

Although there were 20-30 people in the studio at the time of the shooting police have no leads into who Dunkin's killer is.

Drake has taken offense to a song that appears on Common's new album The Dreamer/The Believer. On the track "Sweet" Common addresses rappers who sing too much on their records.

"Some hoes ass niggas, Singing all around me man. La la la, you aint muthaf*cking Frank Sinatra, Uh, lil b*tch, yeah, this the raw right here. Yeah this the raw right here n*gga. Sweet muthafuckas, sweet ass b*tch muthaf*cka."

Drake heard the track and wasn't too happy about it. He told the crowd at Power 106FM’s Cali Christmas that just because he sings doesn't make him soft.

“I will never stop doing this for ya’ll. I don’t give a f*ck if you have something to say to me. Say it to my muthaf*ckin’ face. Just cause I sing don’t make me no b*tch.”

During Common's appearance on 106 & Park yesterday (December 19) he spoke about the song and said if the shoe fits, wear it.

"I'll say this, it's a lot of artists out there that sing. And I don't think there's anything the matter with singing, but I just feel like I wanted to stand up for hip hop to a certain extent and hear cats rhyming and hear some hip hop elements," Common told Rocsi and Terrence J. "So what I really was addressing was all those cats that are out there singing and if certain people feel offended by it then they fit in that category. But I always want them to know that it's just hip hop. And in hip hop you challenge people. What I said in Sweet, [Drake] must have felt like he was one of the people being addressed. So he decided to say what he had to say. I say we can keep it on a hip hop level. I think he's a talented artist. But I'm saying if you wanna get in the ring, we just gotta get in the ring. And I'm talking about on the mic."

In a new interview with Shade 45's Sway in the Morning Common finally admits he was calling Drake out on the song "Sweet."

Rihanna has fired back at Dutch magazine "Jackie" after an article they ran referred to her as "the ultimate n*ggab*tch."

The popular magazine which has a circulation of almost 58,000 copies a month according to Parlour Magazine. also referred to the singer as Jamaican, when she is actually from Barbados.

Check out the offensive excerpt below.

“She has street cred, she has a ghetto ass and she has a golden throat. Rihanna, the good girl gone bad, is the ultimate n*ggab*tch and displays that gladly, and for her that means: what’s on can come off. If that means she’ll be on stage half naked, then so be it. But Dutch winters aren’t like Jamaican ones, so pick a clothing style in which your daughter can resist minus ten. No to the big sunglasses and the pornheels, and yes to the tiger print, pink shizzle and everything that glitters. Now let’s hope she won’t beat anybody up at daycare.”

After receiving tons of criticism the magazine's Editor in Chief Eva Hoeke issued an apology via the publication's Facebook page.

First: thanks for all your responses. We are of course very fed up over this and especially very shocked. However I’m glad that we’re engaging in a dialogue on this page — not everybody does that. Thanks for this. Other than that I can be brief about this: this should have never happened. Period. While the author meant no harm — the title of the article was intended as a joke — it was a bad joke, to say the least. And that slipped through my, the editor-in-chief’s, fingers. Stupid, painful and sucks for all concerned. The author has been addressed on it, and now I can only ensure that these terms will no longer end up in the magazine. Furthermore I hope that you all believe there was absolutely no racist motive behind the choice of words. It was stupid, it was naive to think that this was an acceptable form of slang — you hear it all the time on tv and radio, then your idea of what is normal apparently shifts — but it was especially misguided: there was no malice behind it. We make our magazine with love, energy and enthusiasm, and it can sometimes happen that someone is out of line. And then you can only do one thing: apologize. And hope that others wish to accept it.

Whether the apology was genuine or not only they know, but Rihanna fired back at the publication by tweeting Eva directly.

“@evajackie I hope u can read english, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights!" Rihanna wrote. "I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!! You ran out of legit, civilized information to print! There are 1000′s of Dutch girls who would love to be recognized for their contributions to your country, you could have given them an article. Instead, u paid to print one degrading an entire race! That’s your contribution to this world! To encourage segregation, to mislead the future leaders to act in the past! You put two words together. @evajackie with the intent of abasement, that made no sense…”N*GGA B*TCH”?!….Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you…F*CK YOU!!!”

This incident is the second one in the last week where Rihanna has been attacked racially. During her Loud tour stop in Lisbon, Portugal last weekend Riri was verbally attacked by a man staying at her hotel.

"I just met the most racist c*nt EVER!!! This man said the craziest sh*t about black women," Rihanna wrote on her Twitter page. "[He] called us dogs, sluts, we don't look like sh*t, we don't belong in the same hotels...needless to say, the #N*GGA in me came out! Bajan accent and all! Lol! Turns out the hotel manager's black. Oh and he had the NERVE to diss black people in his Tighty whitey's!!!! SMH...and tbh a lil black wouldn't hurt him."

It's insane to think that we're almost in the year 2012 and even a superstar like Rihanna still gets discriminated against.

At last night's taping of "VH1 Divas" there was plenty of star power on hand as the network celebrated soul music. With anticipation building for performances from Mary J. Blige, Marsha Ambrosius, Kelly Clarkson. Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott and many more, it was 50 Cent who managed to steal some of the spotlight when he arrived with legendary R&B diva Chaka Khan.

The two announced that they were collaborating on something very big.

"It's a surprise, the most exciting situation" 50 told MTV. "We're working together."

When asked what they were working on Khan replied, "big things."

Khan, who was also a performer on the show described what it meant to be a diva.

"You have to be in a blessed situation to be a diva, so I feel very blessed," she said. "I'm honored to be amongst such greats as Mary J."

50 told MTV that he wanted to make sure Khan was his date at the event.

“I reached out to her to make sure I can actually come with her. This is exciting for me,” he said. “I’ve been wanting to come hang out with her. Totally, you know you need to stand next to the fire to keep warm. You see what I’m saying. It’s getting cold out here. It’s wintertime. It’s really exciting to be around people that have the same artistic integrity, people you want to be associated with.”

While we wait to see what will develop from this collaboration, you can catch Chaka Khan performing tonight on VH1 Divas at 9P/8C.

In the second official trailer for The Dark Knight Rises we start to get a clearer picture of what Batman will be up against.

This film is set eight years after the end of The Dark Knight. The Joker is gone, Harvey Dent/2-Face is a distant memory and all is well in Gotham City. Things are going so well in fact, the city is planning to force Commissioner Gordon into retirement... than all hell breaks loose.

Catwoman and Bane arrive to turn the city upside down, leaving it up to Batman to once again save the day. But can he?

This two minute teaser leaves no doubt that Batman is up against his toughest challenge. Only time will tell if he will make it out alive.

The film will arrive in theaters in July 2012.
