Floyd Mayweather Jr. wore his promoter's hat at the recent press conference in Los Angeles for his upcoming fight with Victor Ortiz.
No doubt Floyd is taking his match with Ortiz seriously, but he did look into the future a bit when he said: "We only want to fight the biggest and the best out there -- and Manny Pacquiao, yes you're next."
Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach speculated three weeks ago that Floyd could be fighting the left handed Ortiz as a tune up fight for Paquiao, who is also a southpaw.
"Of course, that's the first thing that came to my mind," Roach told the Associated Press. "Some left-handers have given him trouble. Judah gave him trouble but couldn't maintain the pace. Guys like Victor Ortiz, Manny Pacquiao, they can maintain that pace. And I do think the southpaw stance gives him trouble."
If Pacquiao gets past his November 12 bout with Juan Manuel Marquez, and Floyd Beats Ortiz on September 17, that should set up one of the biggest fights in boxing history.

Tracy Morgan is in trouble with the Word Police again.
Just a week after apologizing in Nashville for a homophobic rant during a stand-up comedy routine, Morgan is being criticized again. This time he's accused of being insensitive to physically and mentally disabled people.
The comedian was in New York Saturday when he joked about having a crippled girlfriend, who has a tiny T-Rex arm, a mechanical larynx and a portable dialysis machine.
He also reportedly said, “Don’t ever mess with women who have retarded kids. Them young retarded males is strong. They’re strong like chimps.”
Peter Berns, CEO of The Ark, a nonprofit advocacy group serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is demanding Morgan apologize.
"Tracy Morgan should apologize immediately," Berns, told E! News. "This quote is far too offensive to be excused as comedy, and it is very hurtful to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Mr. Morgan has an incredibly powerful platform from which to fix this, and if he's learned anything in the last few weeks, he can't bomb this apology."
It's obvious that the groups calling for Morgan's head know nothing about him. I found footage on youtube that is two years old of him telling the joke about dating a "cripple" woman.
Where were all of these groups then? I'm not defending him. I'm just saying that this is his schtick.
It just seems like people won't be satisfied until he is fired from the NBC show "30 Rock."
Watch the video below and let us know if you think Tracy's comedy is too over the edge.
A couple of weeks ago police in the Chicago suburb of Rolling Hills were praising Robert J. Adams as a hero for turning in $17,021 in cash he found.
Yesterday, Adams was cited for filing a false report with the Rolling Meadows Police Department and fined $500 after police discovered he lied about where he had found the money.
On June 6 Adams discovered the bag of money outside of a Walgreens in Midlothian. He tried turning it into a nearby bank, but they said it didn't belong to them according to the Daily Mail.
Adams then took the money to another bank near his home in Rolling Hills and turned it in. He told police he found the cash outside of a newspaper stand there.
After an investigation by police and the FBI, the real story was revealed and Adams was subsequently cited and fined.
"I know now a little better than I knew then," he told the Chicago Tribune. "I feel very badly and understand why I should have told the truth. I wasn't looking for a reward. I was just doing the right thing. I accept the fine. I'm very sorry about this whole thing."
And police wonder why more people don't do what Adams did initially... smh.

New music from Maino.
The Brooklyn emcee is getting ready to drop his sophomore album 'The Day After Tomorrow' October 4th.
By now most of you have probably seen parts of Amber Rose's body that only God and a few lucky men had seen prior to MediaTakeOut leaking nude photos of her.
Amber doesn't try to deny that it is her in the pictures like many celebrities in her position would do. Instead Wiz Khalifa's woman went on twitter to let her followers know how embarrassed and hurt she was by the whole situation.
I was gonna wait until my radio show to address this but I want to say this now. I trusted someone that worked 4 me & allowed them to use my laptop a million times, I caught this person sending my pics to themselves and I fired this person immediately Wiz & I & both of our families have known about this for 2 months now. We tried to prepare ourselves for this day. Those pictures r 2 1/2 years old just sitting in my computer. I'm really hurt & embarrased because I have so many young girls that look up to me. I would never put those pics out of myself.
The company that I was working with no longer wants to work with me because of these pics and that prevents me from getting money to take care of my family. Its a messed up situation when someone so evil comes into ur life and tries to destroy it. I know I'm not the only girl in the world that has taken pics like that but they were very private. I'm sorry for letting my young Rosebuds down. Pls understand this was a result of trusting a person that didn't deserve my trust. I have cried for the past 2 days but I know this to shall pass. Thank u for all of ur support

Lloyd Banks' new album 'The Hunger For More 2' contains quite a few standout tracks. His collaboration with Eminem on "Where I'm At" is definitely one of the highlights.
No official version of the video has been released, but this is one of the best fan made videos I've seen.

What should have been a celebratory event last night for Pete Rock and Smif-N-Wessun turned chaotic when the NYPD shut down their 'Monumental' album release party.
XXL is reporting that a total of eleven people, including five cops were injured when clashes between police and concert goers broke out outside of a club on Manhattan's Lower East Side.
The cops were initially called in by club security due to some unruly individuals. When cops arrived they detained one person outside, but the situation eventually escalated into a riot.
Police used pepper spray and billy clubs to try and disperse the crowd, but that didn't seem to work much.
Initial reports said that Pete Rock had been injured, but that rumor turned out to be false. Rock did however address the situation via twitter.
"EVERYBODY IM GOOD,IM WAITING 4 MY MAN TO COME OUT OF DA PRECINCT! COPS WERE BEATING PEOPLE UP AND ITS ALL ON FILM!!!!" he wrote. "BUT IT TOOK A BUNCH OF THEM TO DISRESPECT MY NIGGA LOUIE MAN! IT WAS LIKE 10 COPS BEATING ON 1 MAN,BILLIE CLUBS AND ALL THAT!"
General Steele of Smif-N-Wessun said that was typical of NYPD's relationship with the hip hop community. He spoke to DJ Lady Jay outside of the event right as things seemed to calm down.
"Right now you are witnessing some real live New York City sh*t," Steele said. "There was no fights. There was no confrontations. It was all kinds of people in there from all over the place. It was going on, it was poppin'. Then the police came and stormed the place. Telling us that we had to get out. Then they started beating on people ," he explained further. "Then New Yorkers like myself we get frustrated when the police come in and instead of brining order to the crowd, they create more chaos."

Chet Haze is one of the newer faces on the rap scene. The-21 year old has plans to make it big like every other rapper, if only he could get people to take him seriously.
Chet is the son of actor Tom Hanks. While being the son of a famous entertainer may open a lot of doors for you, it's not going to help you win over fickle rap fans.
Chet had a small amount of success earlier this year with his song "White and Purple," a remake of Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow." He's also gathered quite a few haters along the way.
The Northwestern University student says the non believers won't stop him.
"I don’t give a [bleep] what any of these haters may do or not. Honestly, I couldn’t care less. Like, honestly, getting a lot of negative attention has been something that I’ve been used to far, far before the drop of the mixtape or even, you know, the drop of my first song or being in the public eye. It’s just on a much bigger scale now," he told ChicagoRedEye.

Conservative talk show host claims a night out with his family turned into a nightmare as angry New Yorkers hurled insults at them.
The Becks were at Bryant Park on Monday (June 27) to see Alfred Hitchcock's 'The 39 Steps.' It wasn't long before the crowd turned on them according to Beck.
"We hate conservatives here" someone said according to NY Daily News. While another reportedly yelled "We're in New York and we hate Republicans," Beck recalled.
At some point a glass of wine was spilled onto his wife Tania's back.
Beck likened the experience to almost getting lynched.
"'I swear to you, I think, if I had suggested, and I almost did, 'Wow, does anybody have a rope? Because there's tree here. You could just lynch me.' And I think there would have been a couple in the crowd that would have," Beck said on his radio show
Nobody actually laid a hand on the Becks. After the show they left without further incident.
Lindsey Piscitell, who was in the audience sitting directly behind the Becks told NYMag what happened from her point of view.
It was my friend that spilled the glass of wine on Tanya -and I can assure you that it was a complete accident. A happy one, to be sure, but nonetheless a complete and utter accident. As soon as the wine spilled (and I question how Tanya became soaked from a half glass of wine) apologies were made and my friends pretty much scrambled to give Tanya & co napkins -no doubt aware that it would look terrible and that their actions could be perceived as purposeful. No words were exchanged after that, as I think that it became pretty clear to Beck & co that my friends and I were doing everything in our capacity to help clean the "mess".
I'm sure it's unnecessary to point out the hypocrisy in Glen's statements that we were being hateful. I can assure him that we don't need his sympathy. Incidentally, none of us have made a career of "spewing hate" on the radio, or any other media platform. We live our lives intolerant only of those who don't tolerate: We have chosen New York as our city for that very reason. We do things like go to Bryant Park Movie Night, and vote to legalize gay marriage. We don't taunt Glen, or his family. And we certainly don't waste our wine, even on Tanya.
Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic planking
Back in September 2009 we reported on a fad that was sweeping the U.K. called Planking or the Lying Down Game. It's now become really popular here in the U.S. as well.
The object of the game is to lye down flat on your face in as strange a place as possible while keeping perfectly still. After your plank has been photographed, you place the often hilarious pics on Facebook or Twitter.
The fad has even reached the NBA where Orlando Magic Center, Dwight Howard declared a plank war yesterday on twitter, before posting several pics of himself planking.
Do you play the game or know anyone that does?
Check out some celebrity plankers and a few random ones.

ESPN -- It seems Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will be forever linked, regardless of whether they ever face each other in the ring.
The two have danced around the richest fight in boxing for several years, unable to come to terms. Meanwhile, their animosity has grown to the point that Pacquiao has a pending defamation lawsuit alleging Mayweather unfairly accused him of using performance-enhancing drugs.
So it's not surprising that Mayweather spent just as much time answering questions about Pacquiao on Tuesday as he did about Victor Ortiz, the welterweight champion whom he'll face in his next fight on Sept. 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"I've never said that Manny Pacquiao was taking steroids, I never said he was taking enhancement drugs," said Mayweather, who failed to turn up for a court-ordered deposition in Las Vegas earlier this month involving the defamation suit.
"I want to fight the best they got out there, not just him, the best they got out there," Mayweather said, "and if he's on the list as one of the best guys, then absolutely."
Mayweather said he's willing to fight Pacquiao if there is random blood and urine testing, which is more stringent than the protocol used by most state athletic associations. Mayweather said Pacquiao's team would only agree to blood and urine testing at certain times.
"It's not just Pacquiao, it's sports, period," Mayweather said. "If you look at sports in the Olympics, they're cheating. Everyone is cheating. And I never once said Manny Pacquiao was cheating, only thing I said was this: Me and any other opponent I face must take the test."
Mayweather will be returning to the ring for the first time since defeating Shane Mosley in May 2010.

The dirty south is well represented in this brand new video for the remix to YC's hit "Racks."
Eminem's new video for "Space Bound" is being criticized by some as being "too gruesome."
In the video there are violent scenes of Em, who in a fantasy state chokes his girlfriend only to have her vanish. He then commits suicide with a very graphic gunshot under the chin.
The content has some wondering if the suicide scene is just too much for a mainstream music video.
"We already know that Em has a penchant for videos that push the envelope, but considering the PC age we're living in where violence in videoscan come under the microscope, did "Space Bound" go too far?" writes MLive.
Sasha Grey, who co-stars in the video as Em's love interest tried to offer her interpretation of the video.
"You can read into it a few different ways, but I imagine one character is actually him, and the other is his subconscious," Grey told MTV. "Em simply becomes company for her, and she mistakenly takes advantage of that. I don't know if it necessarily has a thorough message, but I think it shows that even the strongest of love meets destruction at some point," the ex-porn star said . "Whether or not you come out of it together and whole is an entirely different question."
What's your take on the video's violent imagery? Is it something we should be used to seeing by now from Eminem or is it still shocking?

Cash Money artist Bow Wow is battling demons (real or imagined?) in this video that was shot a year and a half ago, but is just now getting released.
Actor Shia LaBeouf is opening up about his fling with Megan Fox while the two starred in the movie 'Transformers.'
Maybe it's just a coincidence that the new 'Transformers: Dark Of The Moon' flick, sans Fox is hitting theaters tomorrow. but in a new interview with Details for their August issue Labeouf talks about smashing the brunette beauty back in 2006.
"Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them," he said. "I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen."
Megan has been in a relationship with actor Brian Austin Green since 2004. The two were married last June.
So does that mean Fox cheated?
"I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know," Lebeouf said — repeating the phrase exactly 12 times with various intonations, as if trying to get it just right. Finally, he says, "It was what it was."
In the past Labeouf has denied hooking up with Fox. Do you think he should have kept that secret to himself?
