Report Via TMZ -- Colin Kaepernick and his close circle of friends are strongly DENYING a report rapper Travis Scott "consulted" with the ex-NFL quarterback before agreeing to do the Super Bowl halftime show.

The report claims Travis and Kap spoke over the phone -- and while they didn't exactly see eye to eye, there was a mutual understanding.

The report seemed to imply Kap was okay with Scott performing because the NFL and Scott agreed to donate $500k to a social justice organization.

But now, Kap's crew is calling BS -- and the QB is putting his stamp of approval on the public denials.

Kap's friend, Ebro Darden -- the famous HOT 97 radio host who works closely with Kap's girlfriend, Nessa -- tweeted, "Kap did not approve this bullshit! Get the fuck outta here."

Kaepernick retweeted Ebro's statement -- and Nessa also weighed in saying, "FACTS @EBRO!!! THEY NEED TO STOP LYING."

In fact, the same day it was announced Big Boi from Outkast would also be performing at the Super Bowl, Nessa posted the urban dictionary definition of the word, "Sell out."

She added, "If you are with them, then you are definitely not with us."

In this clip, Freeway Ricky talked about the history of LA hip-hop and the role he played in putting certain movements in motion. Freeway Rick spoke about linking Harry O and Suge Knight which eventually led to the formation of Death Row Records. He also mentioned how he met Dr. Dre for the first time and regretted not having the foresight to see what hip-hop would become. Freeway Rick believes he would've been the king of hip-hop in LA had he taken the idea seriously enough.

(My Fox 8) -- PITTSBURGH, Pa. – A Pittsburgh man has been arrested after undercover police officers busted him for allegedly leaving two pounds of marijuana in an Uber.

State police told KDKA that 21-year-old Malik Mollett is facing drug possession charges and a count of criminal use of a communication facility.

It all started when an Uber driver contacted police about a black bag left in the back of his vehicle, according to the criminal complaint.

Inside the bag, state police say they found about two pounds of marijuana packed in a vacuum-sealed bag.

Investigators say Mollett contacted Uber through email looking to get his bag back.

Police then tracked down Mollett through Uber records and telephone numbers, and contacted him, posing as the Uber driver.

They arranged for Mollett to pick up the bag at the McDonald’s in Irwin. Police say Mollett even texted the undercover officers a photo of the bag to confirm it was his.

When he showed up at the McDonald’s, officers took him into custody. He was jailed in Westmoreland County and has court planned for later this month.

Artist Name: J-O

Mixtape Title: My Year

761705065?profile=RESIZE_710x

Available on Datpiff:

Meet Jordan Fields, stage name J-O.  This brilliant rap artist hails from Point South, South Carolina. J-O’s gift for making music was discovered early in his life when his parents bought him a karaoke machine for Christmas.  It may be the best money they ever spent!

Music became an intense focus and he was determined to become a star.  He adopted the moniker, J-O, and began to record himself rapping over different instrumentals. At 15 years old, he connected with Yung Black and became one-half of the Hip-Hop group, 33 Boys.  They were the first act to be signed to New Road Records. Being a part of 33 Boys was just the beginning of his journey.  J-O is spreading his wings.  His new solo project is a reflection of his growth as an artist and his present state of mind...refocused, refreshed and reloaded.

The debut single, aptly titled, “Reloaded” is currently available for your listening pleasure in all digital music stores.  Stay tuned for his solo mixtape dropping later this year.
