Video After The Jump

In this clip, Chi Ali spoke about meeting Nipsey Hussle, and saying that calling him a “good dude” is an understatement. He said Nipsey was a beautiful soul and that he cried for 15 minutes after hearing the news of the rapper’s death, even though they only met and saw each other a total of 2-3 times.

From there, Chi Ali and Vlad talked about how people are dying over words these days. Along with that, Chi Ali referred to Nipsey as a king, and that the community has a responsibility to protect these kings when we encounter them.

(MMA Junkie) UFC champion Jessica Andrade experienced an armed robbery this week in her home country.

Andrade (20-6 MMA, 11-4 UFC), the current UFC strawweight titleholder, had her vehicle stopped while in Niteroi, Brazil, and was threatened at gunpoint, according to a social media message from her wife, Fernanda Gomes.

According to Gomes, Andrade was driving a Honda HRV when the car was stopped. The perpetrators forced the two women to hand over their cellphones before taking the vehicle.

Andrade’s manager, Tiago Okamura, verified the incident with MMA Junkie and confirmed Andrade is unharmed and in a good place.

“She’s OK,” Okamura said. “They took her documents, they took the car, they took phones, so we just spent the day doing paperwork and canceling credit cards. … She did a (police) report, and also people are looking for the car. But right now, we’re just glad that nothing bad happened. Nothing major that can’t be regained. Both her and her wife are safe, so that’s all that matters.

“They were a bit shook, so I didn’t get into much detail. We just had to make sure the damage wasn’t bigger than it was, so that was the main work for the day. They are traveling to the U.S. in a couple of weeks (for a holiday), and Jessica had her passport on her, so we had to sort that out, too.”

The incident comes less than a month after the greatest moment of Andrade’s athletic career. She claimed the UFC’s 115-pound title with a vicious slam knockout of Rose Namajunas at UFC 236 in what was her second chance at UFC gold.

Gomes’ update stated that both she and Andrade were “fine” after the ordeal, but she shared the license plate of the car in hopes the burglars are caught.

Andrade isn’t the first prominent UFC fighter to experience a robbery in Brazil. In May 2014, former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio Rua was stopped by four men with rifles and had to give up his shirt, shoes and money.

Despite the situation and potential for something to have happened, Andrade has no plans of leaving Brazil.

“She’s not going to be the first one, she’s not going to be the last one – it’s just unfortunate,” Okamura said. “She has her whole structure down there. She has her whole team, so I think it would be a terrible problem to move them. She’s got a great structure there. We have some of the best coaches there training with her on a daily basis. Her family is there. As much as there is crime there, it’s safer than Rio.”

24-year old Lumberton, North Carolina rapper Bussdown, born Walter Morrell McKoy Jr., has received a life sentence in prison for the 2015 murder of a friend.

According to the Robsonian, Bussdown was convicted of killing 21-year-old William Covington.

Bussdown and Covington allegedly got into an argument over a gun that the rapper was loaned by Covington, but hadn't been returned. The disagreement turned violent while the two men sat in a car.

Once inside the vehicle Bussdown argued in court that he placed a firearm on his lap. When he saw Covington trying to pull a gun from his coat pocket, a struggle ensued. Gunfire erupted and Covington was struck three times in the head.

When presenting their case, prosecutors pointed out that the bullet wounds were in a semi-circular grouping about 4 inches wide, behind Covington's right ear.

The prosecution argued that such a neat grouping could not have been formed by accidental discharging during a struggle.

“Apparently the jury believed us,” Senior Assistant District Attorney Martha Duvall said.

Bussdown had previously rapped about the case in the song "Cookies."

Report via WPLG Local 10 -- A South Florida stripper was under guard at a hospital late Tuesday after she was drunken driving when her car struck and killed three teenage soccer players last weekend in North Miami, police said.

North Miami police said announced Tuesday night that Mariam Coulibaly faces three counts of DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide.

Gideon Desir, 13; Lens Desir, 15; and Richecarde Dumay, 17, were walking to a bus stop along Northeast 125th Street early Saturday when Coulibaly lost control of her vehicle and struck them on the sidewalk. The boys, members of the Little Haiti Football Club, were on their way to a soccer tournament in Weston.

Coulibaly, 31, was also hurt in the crash. Late Tuesday, she was still being treated at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center under police guard. Reached by phone by Local 10 News reporter Liane Morejon, Coulibaly confirmed that she was the driver involved in the North Miami crash.

A North Miami patrol car sat outside the hospital late Tuesday.

Citing police sources, the Miami Herald reported that Coulibaly's blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit when she was tested four hours after the crash.

According to court records, Coulibaly has a long history of driving infractions. Coulibaly dances regularly at The BODY strip club on Biscayne Boulevard. She was partying on South Beach Friday night ahead of the crash, sources said. The owners of the strip club said they weren't sure whether she was working before the crash.

A nearby surveillance camera recorded the boys walking along the sidewalk just before the crash.

Seconds later, once the teens are out of the frame, an SUV can be seen speeding through the intersection.

The families of the victims had been frustrated with the small amount of information released by the North Miami Beach Police Department and wondered why the driver had not been identified earlier.

"For some reason, we're protecting the identity of somebody that has killed and murdered three young boys," attorney Brett Rosen said early Tuesday.

Family and friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for the boys' funeral expenses.

MIAMI (AP) — Federal prosecutors in Miami have successfully appealed a judge’s decision to release rapper Kodak Black on bond after his arrest on weapons charges.

In a hearing Wednesday in U.S. District Court, Judge Federico Moreno said the 21-year-old rapper was a “danger to the community” based on his lengthy criminal record and should be detained until trial.

Black was arrested earlier this month during a Miami-area hip-hop festival marred by gun violence outside the venue linked to other show participants.

Prosecutors said Black falsified information on federal forms to purchase three firearms. He pleaded not guilty, and a judge previously granted his release on $550,000 bond.

Black also faces drug, weapons and sexual assault charges in other states.

The rapper will likely stand trial for the Miami charges this summer.

In this clip, Chi Ali and Vlad discuss all the people who have appeared on VladTV that have admitted to killing someone, as Vlad notes that all of the circumstances are extremely different in each individual case. That leads Chi Ali to note that he doesn’t believe justice should come from being incarcerated, sharing his belief that “justice has to come from within.” From there, he mentions that he’s not trying to go back to jail but he’s still a man first, stating that he’s a man of principles and that he’ll ultimately die for what he believes in.
