Almighty Jay revealed he was sent to juvenile hall after he got into a fight at school and the kid's parents pressed charges on him. During his three months in juvenile hall, he recalled being housed with someone who was jumped for stabbing their mother to death.

AceShowbiz - Pretty Ricky's Baby Blue is reportedly sentenced to 20 months for his involvement in PPP loan fraud. The R&B singer was previously accused of defrauding the government of $1 million and using Paycheck Protection Program loan money for personal expenses.
According to Baller Alert, Baby Blue took a plea deal and was sentenced to 20 months behind bars. The musician was also allegedly "ordered to pay $1,111345.23 in restitution and $1,134,782 in forfeiture in addition to his term of imprisonment." Additionally, Baby Blue is said to have stated about his sentence that "the judge was fair."
The singer appeared to reflect on the ordeal in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, December 22. "I can't go back and change the beginning but I can start where I am and change the ending. There are things in life we don't want to happen but have to accept; Lessons in life we don't want to know but have to learn."
Baby Blue was arrested in October 2020 in a massive COVID-19 relief loan scam. According to the official press release from the Department of Justice at the time, He was charged for "alleged participation in a scheme to file fraudulent loan applications seeking more than $24 million in forgivable Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans guaranteed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act."

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Jurors on Thursday convicted a suburban Minneapolis police officer of two manslaughter charges in the killing of Daunte Wright, a Black motorist she shot during a traffic stop after she said she confused her gun for her Taser.
The mostly white jury deliberated for about four days before finding former Brooklyn Center officer Kim Potter guilty of first-degree and second-degree manslaughter. Potter, 49, faces about seven years in prison on the most serious count under the state’s sentencing guidelines, but prosecutors said they would seek a longer term.
Potter, who testified that she “didn’t want to hurt anybody,” looked down without showing any visible reaction when the verdicts were read.
Potter, who is white, shot and killed the 20-year-old Wright during an April 11 traffic stop in Brooklyn Center as she and other officers were trying to arrest him on an outstanding warrant for a weapons possession charge. The shooting happened at a time of high tension in the area, with former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin standing trial just miles away for the killing of George Floyd. Potter resigned two days later.
Jurors saw video of the shooting that was captured by police body cameras and dashcams. It showed Potter and an officer she was training, Anthony Luckey, pull over Wright for having expired license plate tags and an air freshener hanging from his rear-view mirror. During the stop, Luckey discovered there was a warrant for Wright’s arrest for not appearing in court on the weapons possession charge, and he, Potter and another officer went to take Wright into custody.

Kim Kardashian is getting very opposite emotional reactions after lending her support to a man sentenced to 110 years behind bars for an accident that killed 4 ... getting praise from the driver himself & blasted as an uninformed loudmouth from the victim's family.
Kim recently posted about Rogel Aguilera-Mederos, a 26-year-old Colorado truck driver, who in 2019 caused a pile-up crash that killed 4 when his brakes went out. Rogel was given a mandatory minimum sentence of 110 years for the accident.
Rogel's attorney, Leonard Martinez, says while he hasn't spoken to Kim directly, they're aware she's spoken in support of reducing Rogel's sentence. Martinez says the legal team is very thankful Kim has lent her voice to the cause & understands how important it is to get the word out.
On the other hand, we spoke to Kathleen Harrison, whose husband, Doyle, was killed in the crash. Kathleen certainly didn't mince words ... she thinks Kim is just a loudmouth who has no clue about the case. Kathleen says the accident was avoidable, but Rogel just threw caution to the wind.
For instance, the trial laid out Rogel lied about his experience in getting the trucking job, noticed earlier in his trip that his brakes were smoking -- yet proceeded & failed to yield onto a truck ramp & avoid a collision.
Kathleen thinks 100 years is harsh, suggesting 20, but says this of Kim -- "I don't think that we want our local proceedings in any state taken over by who has the loudest mouth out there, because people don't know all the details, they are running on emotion."
Kim's not alone in her advocacy ... millions have signed a petition asking Rogel's sentence be reduced & the local D.A. has also asked the judge to reconsider.

CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) — Florida authorities said they found cocaine and methamphetamine wrapped around a man’s penis during a traffic stop, but the man denied the drugs were his.
Pinellas County sheriff’s deputies said they stopped a vehicle driving without its lights on at 4 a.m. last Saturday. WFLA-TV reports the driver was arrested on charges of DUI and marijuana possession.
Authorities said they found a gun under the passenger’s seat while searching the car and discovered the drugs while searching the passenger.
The man, identified as 34-year-old Patrick Florence, said the drugs wrapped around his groin area were not his, but didn’t say who the drugs belonged to, according to the arrest report.
Florence was charged with four felonies, including possession of cocaine, meth, ammunition, and a firearm.
He was booked into the Pinellas County jail under a $24,000 bond.

Florida police are rebutting the spirit of what Lawrence Taylor’s attorney said after his arrest for failing to report an address change as a sex offender.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, police say that the Giants legend had been living in a hotel since April without reporting the move to them. Police said Taylor told them he didn’t know he needed to report a change in address, per TMZ.
Earlier this week, Taylor’s attorney, Arthur Aidala, had attributed Lawrence’s arrest to a mixup.
“Sadly he is in the middle of a divorce and his local police department suggested it would be best if he slept at a nearby hotel,” Aidala told the AP. “Mr. Taylor was constantly a resident of the marital home where he was registered, but on advice of local law enforcement he was sleeping outside the home. We are confident that this will be resolved favorably for Lawrence at the first court hearing.”
Taylor was arrested in 2011 and accused of having sex with a 16-year-old girl. After pleading guilty to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute, he had to register as a sex offender — and thus report to authorities any change in address.
Taylor has pleaded not guilty in the case.
Taylor, one of the greatest players in NFL history and a two-time Super Bowl champion with the Giants, has had a number of substance issues in his playing and post-playing career. He failed multiple tests for cocaine as a player, and has been arrested on drug charges multiple times. He was also arrested for DUI in 2016.

Former NFL star Vincent Jackson died of chronic alcohol use, autopsy results -- obtained by TMZ Sports -- revealed.
The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's office released the findings Wednesday ... calling the manner of death "natural."
As we previously reported, Jackson was found dead in a Florida hotel room on Feb. 15, 2021. He was just 38 years old.
His wife, Lindsey Jackson, said last week that Jackson had been suffering from memory loss and mood swings before his passing ... and revealed that a study on his brain had shown he was suffering from stage 2 CTE.
Lindsey also said Vincent had been drinking heavily before his death, explaining that he had told her it helped him "feel calm."
He would have turned 39 years old in January.
Vincent was a big star in the NFL for years, recording 9,080 receiving yards and 57 TDs in his 12-year career. He was selected to three Pro Bowls.

Jay-Z says there’s “not a chance in hell” someone could take him on in a VERZUZ battle.
The comments came after Rick Ross recently said that it was “a possibility” for the pair to enter a battle.
VERZUZ is the popular entertainment series created by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland that pits producers, songwriters and artists against each other in a rap battle style format that is broadcast via Instagram Live, Triller, YouTube, Facebook, and Fire TV.
Competitors take it in turns playing a song from a list of 20 from their discography, as fans, friends and fellow artists watch on.
