HipHopWired Reports
Even as the fire has burned out and the smoke has settled, there still seems to be a lingering taste in the mouths of some as it relates to Kanye West's incident.
Some have looked at the situation and condemned West as an overall menace and painted a picture of an evil baby that draws out his horns whenever he doesn't get his way. Others, however, feel as though the situation has come to an unnecessary boil and have simply stated that it could have been much worse than it actually was.
Amidst the troubles that were brewing for West after his dramatic tantrum during the VMA's, late night television show host Jay Leno was able to do what few has done, leave West speechless. In regards to his actions, Leno questioned how the rapper's mother would react to her son's outburst. Still dealing with the passing of his mother, Donda West, moments of silence followed as the rapper almost seemed to be brought to tears by the sheer thought.
“And Jay Leno, with your banana boat face having ass, you need to apologize to Kanye West for having him with his mother [would say], what she would think, she would think she'd need to smack your fucking banana face-hacing ass face off trying to be slick.”
The friendship of West and Def has its history and is most evident in the music. Starting back with West's debut album, College Dropout, the two have collaborated on tracks like “Two Words”, “Drunk and Hot Girls” and “Good Night”.
Currently, the rapper has collaborated with Dame Dash in producing a documentary. Although the upcoming flick is without title, the focus will be on an all-Black punk band named Death from Detroit in the 1970s. Production has already commenced and it will be directed by Coodie and Chike, who are known for working on videos for Kanye West, “Through the Wire” and Mos Def, “Ghetto Rock”.
Loyalty is something that is hard to come by, but once it happens friends will ride with each other no matter what the case. In this particular case, attacking West has brought about the fury of Def and although he may come off as quiet, don't let the movie roles ever get it twisted. Behind all the flashing lights, he is still from Brooklyn.

FoxSports Reports
NEW YORK (AP) - Herschel Walker is starting a new career in mixed martial arts.
The 47-year-old former NFL running back said Monday that he has signed a multi-fight contract with promoter Strikeforce. Walker will begin a 12-week training camp next month in San Jose, Calif., with the American Kickboxing Academy.
The 1982 Heisman Trophy winner already holds a fifth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
"I've been training for several years," Walker said in a statement. "I would play college football games on Saturday and then compete in martial arts tournaments on Sunday after church I'm now looking forward to opening up another chapter in my life and to competing in MMA."
In 12 NFL seasons — playing for the Cowboys, Vikings, Eagles and Giants — he made the Pro Bowl twice.
Walker has already had athletic success outside of football, making the two-man bobsled team at 1992 Winter Olympics. He finished seventh.
"I flew to L.A. last month to watch Herschel train and was surprised to see his advanced wrestling and striking abilities," Strikeforce founder and CEO Scott Coker said in a statement. "He's got work ahead of him, but he's committed to training at one of the most notable gyms in the sport of MMA so it will be very interesting to watch him progress."Read more…

September 3, 2009 is a date that will forever ring in the ears of rapper Max B. This was the date where the court sentenced him to serve 75 years in prison when he was found guilty of involvement in a botched robbery that resulted in a man being left dead.
As with rapper, C-Murder, a lifetime is too long to be spent behind prison walls and the “wavy” one is planning to appeal his conviction. Legally Charly Wingate, him along with his mother are reaching out to fans and are hoping that their support for the artist in the music will help them in the court system. Setting up a donation Myspace site, fans have had a massive weight placed on their shoulders as they have been asked to give their support for Max while he is in a crucial time.
"Dear Max B Fans," a posted message reads. "We have been given a second chance to get Max B a new trial. Judge Carroll, the presiding judge over Max B's case, has given us 22 days to retain a new legal counsel for a new trial. The 75 years sentence will be set aside. If you want to Seriously Free Max B now is your chance to show your love & support. We are urgently asking all Max B fans to show your support by sending dollars to his Legal Defense Fund. If you are unable to send a donation at this time, we are asking that you kindly forward this message to all of your friends on MySpace. Let's spread the word & really Free Max B. Thanks, Miss Sharon Wingate & Family" Another message reads '$1 per fan will get me out of jail.'
The sentence was able to be finalized with the help of his ex-girlfriend Gina Conway who became the snitch once given a plea deal. The deal, however, still found her serving 15 years behind bars for her role in the crime as she was sentenced shortly after Max and his step brother were handed their verdicts.
Well, the message is out for all of the Max B fans out there who say that they truly love and support the rapper. The question is, who will answer the call?
